Love to see / hear your performances from the movie themes. Please never stop posting these masterpieces, and truly honouring their original composers! Cheers from Portugal!

Soundtrack maybe, but the movie is the top for Italian westerns. Can't compete with The Searchers starring John Wayne and some others in overall westerns. Although a great western it cannot compete with John Ford's vision. I don't even think Leone would say it did.

We are travelers on a cosmic journey- stardust, swirling and dancing in the eddies and whirlpools of infinity. Life is eternal. But the expressions of life ephemeral, momentary, transient. Gautama Buddha, the founder of Buddhism, once said, "This existence of ours is as transient as autumn clouds. To watch the birth and death of beings is like looking at the movements of a dance. A lifetime is like a flash of lightning in the sky, rushing by like a torrent own a steep mountain." We have stopped for a moment to encounter each other, to meet, to love, to share. This is a precious moment, but it is transient. It is a little parenthesis in eternity. If we share with caring, lightheartedness, and love, we will create abundance and joy for each other. And then this moment will have been worthwhile. Many have given a lot sharing their love and talent like Ennio Morricone bringing to millions exceptional music and harmony.

When my grandson was one year old I started holding him up in my lap and watching music videos. We still do it and this performance became one of his favorites. When the conductor was on screen I told him she was the “conductor”. He heard me tell my wife that Tuva was known as the “WaWa lady”. His two year old birthday was today and he came up to me, pointed at my iPad, and said “conductor, WaWa lady”. So we watched it a dozen times today. Pretty damn good taste in music for a two year old! FWIW his other favorites are Maeve of Celtic Women singing Dulamon and Dire Staits performing Sultans of Swing.

Back in the late Sixties when I was a boy my father and I would watch these movies and I enjoyed them almost as much as I enjoyed being with my dad. He's gone now and there's no one to turn to and say, "that was REALLY cool!" So I've returned to this video many times to remember those times with dad and each time I get choked up remembering a simpler time for me and the company of my father. I love and miss you, dad!

Ennio Morricone shows that he is truly capable of writing one of the finest movie themes in history. I am sure that The Danish National Symphony was certainly up to doing one of the finest renditions of this score that I have ever heard. Morricone's use of unusual instruments and choral backgrounds was sheer genius. Audiences will be listening to this score for hundreds of years. Thank you for recreating this theme for our continued enjoyment.

Ennio Morriconne was one of the finest composers in the 20th Century. I first heard these songs over 50 years ago while watching the Spaghetti Westerns with Clint Eastwood. And a live performance to boot. No mistakes. Just perfection. When the music shifts to the piano theme, it just instantly evokes scenes from the movie in my mind. Jim .. i know this sounds horribly nostalgic, but .. if only we could put the clock back .. and skip the last year as we re-wound forward, without this goddam' virus getting in-between and upturning so many lives !!
