In this video I'm giving a lot of info and history. You can hear the bass flutes briefly in the intro and ending. For those that want to hear more, there are a lot of free examples of this instrument and many others on my channel: ruclips.net/channel/UCAauifGyt5p6D17Kh6fg0Pg

    Two questions:
Is there is difference in tonal presence/projection between the transverse and upright versions?
Is there much call for the low B in music you play?

I know the upright has a bigger sound. The Low B will be used now and then but not often. But it does help the tuning.

I've seen that the embouchure on some bass flute players, is lined up with the tone holes, not away like your playing, which is better? FIND WHAT WORKS FOR YOU, sounds great to me!!! Nice b foot bass, you're a lucky man to own such a professional piece of work. Great video!
