  • Just a quick video of the guns side by side. Pretty much a wash as they are both accurate guns. I will be doing a table top comparison review to the the similarities/differences.

Mentioned it before, hated the XR920 Elite....wish I had never bought it and just bought the Shadow2.

Very strange how people have different tastes. I changed the stock trigger with a timney alpha trigger and it changed the gun.

@@bluepstu9009 Really wanted to like that gun! I think it was my dislike for Glocks in general and that I typically like a heavier gun.

@@SVTShane361I understand. It was very surprising at how well I did in matches with this gun and how little recoil I felt. It is just fun shooting a type of pistol that was unlike all the others I have.

@@sigxm5thumb I sold it pretty quick. I've gone down the CZ Shadow 2 rabbit hole and pretty happy at the moment.

Which one do you like better?

I really like them both. I will be posting a table top comparison review this afternoon. I just feel like the 1911 trigger is the best trigger there is. If the Shadow systems was able to have a 1911 trigger, it would be my go to. I know that is not much of a definitive answer. Sorry :)

Thanks! I just published a table top comparison of each gun. It is a gas pedal. It is a Nitro Fin by Shooting Sports Innovations. Really helps with the recoil. There will need to be some modifying to make it work but it is very easy to do with a dremel. Don't hesitate to contact if you need help with that, and I can post up a video of what I had to dremel down. Hope this helps.

Yeah. I mentioned in the description that it was pretty much a wash. I think the Platypus would come out above the XR in a competition style setting where you had to get faster follow ups over multiple targets. Love both guns though!

@@Bromo_SexualYes sir. Thanks! The Platypus was very easy to get comfortable with as I was use to the platform. The XR 920 has been a surprisingly good gun but I believe the Platypus will be my go to gun for the indoor matches. Hard to beat that trigger!
