Those are such beautiful cards! Thank you for the tutorial and thank you for mentioning Sharpie markers..no one ever mentions those and I've got quite a few of them and never thought of using them for this ( velum) !!

Your cards are so pretty!
Absolutely gorgeous! I really love this. I have actually had decent results coloring on vellum with Tombows and other water-based markers, just had to be patient about drying (vellum has a hard finish that isn't very absorbent, but it is 100% paper, no plastic). Colored pencils also work. So there are alternatives for people who don't have or can't deal with alcohol markers.

Both of your cards are stunning especially the vanilla one! You are so fun to watch and listen to...I love your videos! I do have a question though...what kind of acrylic blocks are you using and do you like them? I am looking for some good ones but don't want to spend a fortune...lol.

Thank you Sasha. I think your card is really beautiful. I don't have any of those alcohol pens. I do all my colouring with pixie powders but I'm sure they would not work.

Vellum paper may feel "plasticy" but it has no plastic in it. It is how the paper is made that makes it vellum. In fact if you take designer paper that is text weight and cover it with baby oil you can make your own vellum paper.

Beautiful! I tried my waterbased markers and they worked on the vellum. I cannot use alcohol ones with the odour.
