#cardmaking #cardmakingideas
You ALWAYS have the best creative ideas. I see why you and Gerry V. like to share/demonstrate ideas on your combined videos! All of these cards were great. I can't pick a single favorite because each was my favorite!! TFS
Thanks so much for watching! Must be just about time for another Gerry/Ardyth collab.... lol!
Owning an obscenely huge stack of background papers this was a most helpful video. Thank you Ardyth.
Haha! I think many of us are in that situation! Thanks for watching, Rose Anne!
LMAO 🤣 "obscenely huge"
Just re-watched…a year later, and found this video just as inspiring as the first time! Thank you so much! I always love your videos, no matter how many times I watch them!
Thanks Carlos! That is a lovely compliment!
What beautiful cards you made from those gorgeous backgrounds.
Thank you so much!
Thank you Ardyth for sharing all your tips. I loved them all.
Glad you like them! Thanks for watching!
ALL so beautiful, TFS.
Thank you! 🤗
I loved the thin rectangle around the outside to use more of those pretty backgrounds. Also loved using it for the large word dies!
Thanks so much!
Fantastic ideas for using all those backgrounds laying around! 🤣. TYFS Ardyth! ❤
Thanks so much! 😊
Always enjoy your enthusiasm and encouragement! Thanks!
Thanks so much for watching!

That is the best compliment - so glad you are feeling inspired! Thanks so much for watching!
Wow Ardyth. I found it amazing how many wonderful cards you created from these backgrounds. You are so creative. Thanks so much. 😊🇨🇦
Thank you so much!
Great inspiration! I need to go look through all those ‘not good enough’ panels I’ve thrown in a box and see what I might do with them!
You will be amazed - thanks so much for watching!
WOW! I personally rate this video A+++! So many great ideas and tips! I had planned on working with my stash of backgrounds this week, so this video came at the perfect time. Thank you SO much!❤️😊🐾🌵
That's great minds thinking alike! lol! Thanks so much for watching!

Double like! I watched this again after your collaboration with Sasha!
LOL! Thanks for coming back!
Love having backgrounds to make cards from...some of my favorite butterflies were cut from old backgrounds. This is a superior video!! So many tips and ideas!! Thank you!!

We spent my last card class that I each using up backgrounds. You’ve given us even more ideas! Thanks Ardyth.
So glad it's helpful! Thanks for watching!
Nice techniques. They all turned out very classy.
Thanks so much for watching!
Thank you for sharing all of these wonderful ideas! I like to make backgrounds, but don't do it very often because I don't know what to do with them all. Die cutting is a great idea, especially if most of the background isn't "usable". TYFS!
Thanks so much for watching!
I loved the gray one with heart! Thank you for video!
Thanks for watching!
Great cards and ideas, Ardyth. Thank you for sharing.❤
Thanks so much!
this is a very good video - lots of ideas, clear directions, and room to put a personal spin on each card. your voice and personality are just so sweet! thank you for sharing your talent with us, ardyth.
Thank you for your very kind words!
I love all these cards!! So many ideas! Thanks so much for sharing! 🥰

Great ideas. Thanks for sharing.

Such a helpful video Ardyth. Thanks for all the ideas and inspiration. ❤
Thanks so much for wathcing!
Adding those extra frames around some of your cards were a great addition. Thanks for always putting out awesome and useful videos!
Thank you for watching them! I really appreciate it!
Very cool collection of cards Ardyth. I really like the effect from the floral lace die. I can imagine many cards made with it. Bye for now, I'm going to watch again!🌷🌷
I have made many, many cards with it since then - hope you like daisies, because there's A LOT coming! lol! Thanks for stopping by, Cath!
I love making backgrounds but never sure how to use them. Very helpful ideas & inspiration - Thank you!!!
Glad it was helpful! Thanks for watching!
I always look forward to your videos!!! Your presentation and the finished product are always top notch! My favorite was the metallic paint and the petal shaped embossing plate. Wow what a surprise that was after you spritzed it….I started doing that on most of my embossing plates to cut down on the paper cracking and the deeper embossing was just a great surprise! As usual…thanks so much!
Thanks so much for watching!
Love this... It was a surprise to see me... hehehee... I have so many backgrounds... I could probably make 1000 cards LOL! Thanks for the inpsiration!
LOL! You are such an inspiration to me - I always want to be Tiffany! Thanks for stopping by!
This video was full of very good ideas right up my alley! Thank you from 🇨🇦
Glad you enjoyed it! I'm also in Canada! Thanks for watching!
I just ran across your videos today, and have watched 5 so far. LOVE your ideas and explanations of how you make each of your cards! I also like how you have "chapters" for replaying the video to a specific place. Thank you for your creativity!
Welcome and thanks so much for watching and leaving such a nice comment! I'm glad you're enjoying!
Fab ideas, Ardyth.....I also have a boxful of backgrounds that need using up, so am saving this video for future reference!
Thanks for watching!
The cards came out beautifully! 😍
Not sure which is my favorite 🤔 …okay…yes I do…ALL OF THEM!!! 😂
I have a LOT of pattern paper and I will rewatch this video to see how I can use them better.
Thanks so much! 😊

Thanks for watching!
Love your ideas!
Thank you! 😊
Great tips and techniques
Thanks for watching!
All great ideas!
Thanks so much!
I want to add one thing. I think everyone remembers paper weaving from school. When I have backgrounds that I don't like enough to use them on a card I like to cut them into small strips and weave a rectangle from them. It's possible to die cut simple shapes like circles or hearts from it. Looks great on a card or tags!
That's a great tip! Thanks for sharing!
WOW!!! Thanks so much for sharing!! I have a lot of backgrounds also!! This so so helpful!!!
Thanks for watching!
Thanks for all the great ideas!
Thanks so much for watching!
Lots of great ideas! I’ve got lots of backgrounds just waiting for these. 💗
Thanks so much for watching!
Genius ideas! Your cards are stunning! ❤
Thanks so much! 😊
Absolutely inspired cards. You take things I think ‘ummph’ about and make them spectacular! Thanks❤
That is a lovely thing to say! Thanks so much!
You Did It!!!! Thought this title sounded pretty straight forward, but as should be expected- you threw in a few really inspiring new techniques- I have yet to see. Thanxs so much. Friday are always better with a video from you! Have a great weekend.
Aw, that is a lovely thing to say! Thanks so much for watching!
Beautiful as always
Thank you! 😊
Thank you for the great ideas! I have tons of backgrounds I haven't used... I love to try new techniques (gel pressing, alcohol inks, ink smooshing, shaving cream... I have all these and more I need to use up!)
I have never tried shaving cream....yet! uh, oh! lol! Thanks so much for watching!
@@ardyth I bought cheap shaving cream at the Dollar Store. It smelled very strong (and awful), so I have never done it again. LOL The results were fun, though.
Very creative with great ideas, thanks.
Thank you! 😊
Great job as usual! 😀🇦🇺
Thank you! 😊
Brilliant!!!!!!
Thanks so much for watching!
Wow Ardyth! So many great ideas! The first one is my favorite I think. Although The other 8 are also worth trying..
That one's my favourite too! Thanks for watching!
I have a bunch of premade backgrounds also but my goal this year is to use my paper scraps. Every card I have made this year has used paper scraps. I'm super pleased with the dent I've made so far and I have used a couple of the backgrounds with die cuts made from the paper scraps. Thanks for sharing your ideas.
Such a great feeling to be accomplishing our goals! Thanks so much for watching!
Ardyth, Such an inspiring video!
Thanks so much!
Wow very creative and very great job
Ty

Thanks so much for watching!
I love all of these ideas!
Thanks so much for watching!
Love all of your ideas! The first one I'm going to try is the partial stencils to add interest and texture! That really made a difference!
Thanks for using you gift to inspire us and grow our skills!
I love to think of the ripples of influence you make as we learn and then share in cards to brighten the day for the people who receive our cards. ♥️
What a lovely thing to say, and to think about - thank you for that! And thanks for watching!
I’m going to try to add the stencils in onto the colored panels. The use of the matching outside frames is another trick I like..
Thanks so much for watching!
This is a wonderful video - thanks so much!
Thanks so much for watching!
Great tutorial thanks for sharing x
Thanks for watching!
Thanks Ardith. I have lots of backgrounds and these are great ideas. I think my favorite is the faux inlay. I just loved how the color came through the white die cut. And now I need to find your video with shimmer powders on the gel plate. 😊
Haha! Here it is: ruclips.net/video/qOBjwsDyCfw/видео.html Thanks so much for watching!
Love this video! I also love Tiffany and wish I was half as creative as she is. TYSM for sharing! Can't wait for the next one!
Thanks so much for watching - yes, Tiffany-envy is real! lol!
Faux inlay embossing -- I never would have thought of it! I hate the fussiness of inlay but maybe . . . The love you card is my favorite 😊
I have a whole video about it - it's the perfect technique when you want the look but not the fussiness! ruclips.net/video/o9CO6ebopL0/видео.html Thanks for watching!
These are beautiful and I inspirational techniques! I will definitely try out!
Thanks so much for watching!
Great ideas! Thx.
Thanks so much for watching!

Great ideas!
Thank you!
I love to gellplate so I have a lot of backgrounds. I realy like your ideas to use them. Thank you!
You are so welcome! Thanks for watching!
I was actually just getting ready to search for a video about how to use extra backgrounds! So happy to see this pop into my feed! Thanks.
Haha! Talk about great minds thinking alike! Thanks so much for watching!
I like using my backgrounds for paper piecing. You can also do some paper weaving which can look pretty wild when two extremely different backgrounds are used.
Ooh those a great ideas! Thanks for watching!
you always inspire me thank you so much for all of your videos. I have a huge stack of painted papers so I'll have to explore....
Thanks so much for watching!
I’m so amazed that the gray one turned out so beautifully! I’m not a gray fan but that was beautiful!
It was gorgeous, the colours so rich and well suited together. 🙂
Haha! The tulip card was the one that surprised me most - it's my favourite! Thanks so much!
@@ardyth The tulip card was awesome, it looked that that background had been intended for that stamp all along. 😃
Great video. Thanks for the inspirations.
Thanks for watching!
So many great ideas! Thank you! I have a pile of backgrounds!❤️🙂. I can’t decide which is my favorite…think I’ll start with using some embossing folders.
Thanks for watching!
Oh my, I wish I could tap your brain as I ruffle through the myriad of backgrounds I have… these are all so gorgeous! I will definitely try adding some thin frames, and I love the idea of die cutting sentiments. I also want to pull out my powders and make some backgrounds, well that would defeat the purpose of whittling down the stash wouldn’t it??!!!🤣🤣🤣🙄🧑🏼🎨. Thanks for all the terrific ideas! 💗
LOL! The best part is we're never 'done' - making, or using backgrounds! Thanks for dropping by!
6:57 That's what I use to hold my crafting stuff I'm using when working in a small area. I covered the top with a circular piece of chipboard
I bought this identical item in Diaso for $2.
Smart! Thanks for watching!
