this is a very good video - lots of ideas, clear directions, and room to put a personal spin on each card. your voice and personality are just so sweet! thank you for sharing your talent with us, ardyth.
You ALWAYS have the best creative ideas. I see why you and Gerry V. like to share/demonstrate ideas on your combined videos! All of these cards were great. I can't pick a single favorite because each was my favorite!! TFS
You Did It!!!! Thought this title sounded pretty straight forward, but as should be expected- you threw in a few really inspiring new techniques- I have yet to see. Thanxs so much. Friday are always better with a video from you! Have a great weekend.
I have a bunch of premade backgrounds also but my goal this year is to use my paper scraps. Every card I have made this year has used paper scraps. I'm super pleased with the dent I've made so far and I have used a couple of the backgrounds with die cuts made from the paper scraps. Thanks for sharing your ideas.
Well Ardyth, I think I’m on a roll…a “gelli” roll. Lol So much inspiration on various types of background techniques!! Love your creative mind; beautiful cards! ❤
I have a whole video about it - it's the perfect technique when you want the look but not the fussiness! ruclips.net/video/o9CO6ebopL0/видео.html Thanks for watching!
WOW! I personally rate this video A+++! So many great ideas and tips! I had planned on working with my stash of backgrounds this week, so this video came at the perfect time. Thank you SO much!❤️😊🐾🌵
Ardyth, these are all just brilliant. I love them all. I think I'll be in my crafty space this weekend attempting to recreate some of your great ideas. Thank you for sharing your creativity with me. Have a blessed weekend.
Thank you for the great ideas! I have tons of backgrounds I haven't used... I love to try new techniques (gel pressing, alcohol inks, ink smooshing, shaving cream... I have all these and more I need to use up!)
@@ardyth I bought cheap shaving cream at the Dollar Store. It smelled very strong (and awful), so I have never done it again. LOL The results were fun, though.
Love all of your ideas! The first one I'm going to try is the partial stencils to add interest and texture! That really made a difference! Thanks for using you gift to inspire us and grow our skills! I love to think of the ripples of influence you make as we learn and then share in cards to brighten the day for the people who receive our cards. ♥️
Love having backgrounds to make cards from...some of my favorite butterflies were cut from old backgrounds. This is a superior video!! So many tips and ideas!! Thank you!!
Just re-watched…a year later, and found this video just as inspiring as the first time! Thank you so much! I always love your videos, no matter how many times I watch them!
Thank you for sharing all of these wonderful ideas! I like to make backgrounds, but don't do it very often because I don't know what to do with them all. Die cutting is a great idea, especially if most of the background isn't "usable". TYFS!
Very cool collection of cards Ardyth. I really like the effect from the floral lace die. I can imagine many cards made with it. Bye for now, I'm going to watch again!🌷🌷
I always look forward to your videos!!! Your presentation and the finished product are always top notch! My favorite was the metallic paint and the petal shaped embossing plate. Wow what a surprise that was after you spritzed it….I started doing that on most of my embossing plates to cut down on the paper cracking and the deeper embossing was just a great surprise! As usual…thanks so much!
The cards came out beautifully! 😍 Not sure which is my favorite 🤔 …okay…yes I do…ALL OF THEM!!! 😂 I have a LOT of pattern paper and I will rewatch this video to see how I can use them better.
I just ran across your videos today, and have watched 5 so far. LOVE your ideas and explanations of how you make each of your cards! I also like how you have "chapters" for replaying the video to a specific place. Thank you for your creativity!
Thank you so much for sharing all these incredible ideas and beautiful cards. Your first card left me amazed by its incredible WOW factor. Not only do I need to make extra backgrounds, but also I need to embrace your habit of having extra cards at the ready. You are an excellent example for me, Ardyth. So again, thank you.💖🇨🇦💖
Haha! That tulip card caught me by surprise! Those are not my colours, and I haven't really been stamping much lately, but that card was my favourite from this bunch! Thanks for dropping by!
I want to add one thing. I think everyone remembers paper weaving from school. When I have backgrounds that I don't like enough to use them on a card I like to cut them into small strips and weave a rectangle from them. It's possible to die cut simple shapes like circles or hearts from it. Looks great on a card or tags!
Thanks Ardith. I have lots of backgrounds and these are great ideas. I think my favorite is the faux inlay. I just loved how the color came through the white die cut. And now I need to find your video with shimmer powders on the gel plate. 😊
So many great ideas! Thank you! I have a pile of backgrounds!❤️🙂. I can’t decide which is my favorite…think I’ll start with using some embossing folders.
Owning an obscenely huge stack of background papers this was a most helpful video. Thank you Ardyth.
Haha! I think many of us are in that situation! Thanks for watching, Rose Anne!
LMAO 🤣 "obscenely huge"
this is a very good video - lots of ideas, clear directions, and room to put a personal spin on each card. your voice and personality are just so sweet! thank you for sharing your talent with us, ardyth.
Thank you for your very kind words!
You ALWAYS have the best creative ideas. I see why you and Gerry V. like to share/demonstrate ideas on your combined videos! All of these cards were great. I can't pick a single favorite because each was my favorite!! TFS
Thanks so much for watching! Must be just about time for another Gerry/Ardyth collab.... lol!
Adding those extra frames around some of your cards were a great addition. Thanks for always putting out awesome and useful videos!
Thank you for watching them! I really appreciate it!
Ardyth, I love them ALL! Hard to choose a favorite, but I always love “two for one” cards! Thank you so much!
Thanks so much for watching!
You Did It!!!! Thought this title sounded pretty straight forward, but as should be expected- you threw in a few really inspiring new techniques- I have yet to see. Thanxs so much. Friday are always better with a video from you! Have a great weekend.

Wow Ardyth. I found it amazing how many wonderful cards you created from these backgrounds. You are so creative. Thanks so much. 😊🇨🇦
Thank you so much!
I loved the thin rectangle around the outside to use more of those pretty backgrounds. Also loved using it for the large word dies!
Thanks so much!
Great inspiration! I need to go look through all those ‘not good enough’ panels I’ve thrown in a box and see what I might do with them!
You will be amazed - thanks so much for watching!
Well Ardyth, I think I’m on a roll…a “gelli” roll. Lol
So much inspiration on various types of background techniques!! Love your creative mind; beautiful cards! ❤
Thank you so much!
Faux inlay embossing -- I never would have thought of it! I hate the fussiness of inlay but maybe . . . The love you card is my favorite 😊
I have a whole video about it - it's the perfect technique when you want the look but not the fussiness! ruclips.net/video/o9CO6ebopL0/видео.html Thanks for watching!

@@ardyth The tulip card was awesome, it looked that that background had been intended for that stamp all along. 😃
Very cool collection of cards Ardyth. I really like the effect from the floral lace die. I can imagine many cards made with it. Bye for now, I'm going to watch again!🌷🌷
