Seriously Ardyth…..you take the most simple things and create techniques that blow my mind……and make absolutely spectacular cards!! Your use of colour just makes them that much more incredible! I love love love every single card! A million thanks 🙏🏼
I must be stuck in a very small box! Love how you come up with further ways to use what we have! I so enjoy your videos because I know I will learn from it and be challenged and inspired! Thanks Ardyth!
You are such a lovely goofball😁 confetti yay🎉 you did it again, you made the basic shapes rock and the cards are gorgeous, thanks for teaming up with me again🥰💕
FABULOUS, Ardyth! You and Gerry never fail to demonstrate your creativity and teach us techniques we might never come up with ourselves. Thanks so much!!
I really enjoyed watching your creations! Wow! Your "mistakes" are more beautiful than many of my better creations. I enjoyed this so much! Thanks for sharing this with us.
Such fabulous ideas, thank you so much for sharing them! A Colorful Life makes terrific stencils… these you showed being some of the most useful, but I have many of them I reach for again and again! Love how you used the same colors throughout this video! 🧑🏼🎨💗
You make fabulous cards. I just came across your channel recently and today I watched many of your videos and loved everything I saw. Thank you for sharing your cards and ideas and creativity with all of us. Continued success with your channel. 🇨🇦
Quilting supply stores (Fabricland here or JoAnn’s in the USA) sell plastic for stencils that cuts really nicely with a die cutting machine for DIY stencils. I love how you stuck to one colour scheme with all these card ideas. I think it shows off the variety in design even better. Gerri says to say “hi!” 😉
Thank you, Caroline Bredeson for the Canadian (I assume) store to access supplies. Useful items from the US include shipping and duty making acquiring large or costly items prohibitive. 💜
@@kirriesummers5219 Yes, Fabricland is here in Canada, BC through ON; Fabricville in QC. Not sure if they are still in the Maritimes.. They have an online store if there is no branch near you.
I wasn't aware that Fabricland had these supplies. I live on Vancouver Island, there is Fabricland near me. Now I'm aware, and grateful to you for sharing this information. Thank you, be safe.
Thank you so very much for yet another inspiring video Ardyth. I love the way you use stash items and help me to extend my basic use of them. Keep up the good work.
Love that these sets come with multiple sizes and the internal mask pieces as well. The modern Christmas trees might have been my favorite but they’re all very neat. You’d never know one of those mandala cards had a mistake - big sentiments with shadows hide a multitude of mistakes.
Love your videos. Thanks to you, the collector side of me wants to be creative. You have helped me overcome the fears. Also knowing that we do not always need to buy everything that we see, and to use the supplies in our stashes. You are a gifted teacher, mentor and inspiration. I appreciate your creative talents and videos so very much.
Well I like one of your other viewers mentioned, must be on a small box 📦 because I don't believe I would've been able to come up with these great ideas. Ardyth, I really enjoy your channel. Thank you for sharing your creativity with us.
What a well loved sticky mat! I like when the "mistakes" are still used for a card. I hate wasting my work even if it isn't "perfect." What a lot of useful "masking" techniques you and Gerry showed. I should have enough inspiration to last me quite a while. (I am going to forget I saw that stencil 360. I keep saying I'm on a crafting diet and I'm really trying to stick to it. Maybe for Christmas.)
@Ardyth • I loved all of these cards. I really prefer the look of stenciling as a background because it doesn't add the bulk of die cuts. I think that makes the cards more of a standout as with the circle & flowers. Sometines using die cuts as frames can be too bulky, in my opinion (even though you can tuck things under or over them.) Demonstrating the unusual ways to use stamps, like the banner as Christmas trees, is also terrific. Finally, I love the way you showed us the result when you didn't think it through. Matching the center dots did look better but you showed as the simple way to get the same result by just using a shadow sentiment. So much better to feel "I can still use this" than "Oops, I goofed. Trash!" P.S. I came from Gerry van der Velden and loved how she used the mandela as 2 slimline cards. 👍
I watched Gerry's too. Love the ideas. Love the outcome of what you did too. Will have to check out the stencils. Love all the cards and how you did you the one with the overlayed area. Thanks for sharing too.
What a beautiful cards! So inspiring and so many ideas… Thank you for this collaboration with Gerry, I always know you two come with the best tutorials. And even though you have slightly different styles, I love all the results. Like Gerry’s ideas, yours are also going on my to do list. And I am going to look into the 360 stencil set. But it might go on my wish list… Thank you 👍
This is going to seem so bazaar to comment this here, but I just had to! I’m pouring over with excitement and anxiety at the same time! You know Ardyth how I have been talking about my goal to get CP inks. But being on disability at 55 it seems impossible. And I just made a couple of large purchases, one is the big shot switch. Well FAR unbeknownst to me, at the card demo day yesterday, which I missed completely!; was CP doing a demo which I wanted to see. So I started to watch on replay and they had a 20% off code for the whole store! It was late when I remembered the demo day and tried to watch but fell asleep. First thing this morning that code was on my mind because I know they never go on sale and maybe 10%. Yep! You got it! I ordered the party collection. I couldn’t do both and hope to have all these new purchases all paid and ahead by Black Friday. So I’m hoping to get the spa collection then. Next is reinkers for the new distress oxides I just bought as well as the CP inks. But that’s going to have to be next year. I guess I’m telling you because you love them so much that you are really the only person who could possibly understand my feelings right now. I have never made such big purchases in stamp supplies on just one product and I just did it 3xs! Being on social security doesn’t allow for this either, but they don’t understand that these never go on sale and with my old stampin up inks driving me crazy, it’s time. So I hope you can share in my excitement today, considering it has honestly been very much what I have seen you be able to do with these inks that led me to CP. thank you. One question. Do you think that making only about a dozen cards a year + 40 at Christmas and 12 at Easter and Thanksgiving, that the inks will stay juicy until next year? There’s no way I can get reinkers before then unless you recommend getting those before the spa collection. Thank you for your patience and kindness to read all this. Have a lovely Sunday!
Oh wow! That's so exciting! I'm SO glad you were able to take advantage of the Demo Day promo - it was a great event with so much inspiration and such lovely promotions from the generous sponsors! You know I love these inks! It may take some getting used to at first - they are very juicy, so don't put too much pressure on when you're stamping into them. If you use them primarily for stamping, they will stay juicy for a long time, it's only if you're doing a lot of direct to paper (ie making your own coloured cardstock) or ink blending that you will find that you need to refill them sooner. When the time comes, you'll be able to decide whether the reinkers are a higher priority over the Spa colours. Enjoy your crafty purchases!
@@ardyth thanks Ardyth! I love your style! It’s helped me start paying attention to what I like and don’t and discover what is my style. I bought a lot last year because I didn’t have any, like floral bouquets, and now i know I’ll never color all that! I’m learning.
Amazing ideas and I actually so quick too, love the way you showed how you thought of triangles for the circles. Must remember it for next time. Thank you for your amazing video Ardyth ❤️

If you painted your cardstock mask/stencil on all sides with cheap cooking oil, left it to absorb & dry, it would become pretty durable 😊
That's an interesting idea, I'll have to give it a try. Thanks so much for watching!
