Wow! 25 inspirational videos on embossing folders and how versatile they are. Watched the first one last night and the second this morning. They are so well done and you explain every idea so we’ll, thank you. The last one with the dragonflies was gorgeous😍
That last one should be less streaky if you "pounce" the ink pad on it. (I like to rub it on first to make sure everything is coated and THEN pounce it on.)
These 2 videos are just over the top. 20 thumbs up. I wish you were my daughter, than I could have a teacher 24-7. Thank you so much for you being you.
I make junk journals, not cards, but these techniques are great for ephemera, pockets, and so much more. Thanks for more ways to use those folders for more than just plain old embossing.
#25 Was by far My Favourite Love as it is a brand new technique to Me!! You are AMAZING and Your presentations are fabulous. It is a pleasure to watch and learn from You, I am so inspired I am off to try #25 right now!! Thank You for sharing all these long forgotten ideas and tricks it is true I have more than 50 EF that I have not used in quite a while. I have been on a Lavinia Journey for the past Year and have been completely immersed in the Land of Fairy's and Loving every minute of it. The Gelli Plate being a huge part of the ride, I cannot get enough... I even made My own just to have different sizes!! You have given Me so many ideas that I will switch gears and try the EF and Stamp trick and try to merge the two Worlds...Oh My what fun!! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE INSPIRATION!! Blessings from Vancouver Island, BC, Canada. xo Michelle
Oh Michelle, messages like this make my day! It feels like ive got friends all over the world. I love when people share what they're up to as well! Thank you for the wonderful encouragement. It means so much to me. I have recently bought a geli plate, but just havent ripped the creative bandaid off yet to try it out. Im a bit scared ha ha
Ohhhh loved the tutorial. Three new ideas for me. The embossed ribbon, the one where you pressed the folder into heat embossing and the lovely #25 stamped embossing! Thank you.
Thank you so much for putting all these tips in one place. I have decided to stop buying printed paper because I have 40+ embossing folders that have not seen enough use. I also have a large number of dies, and colored cardstock.. This is all very helpful for making my own backgrounds for my projects. Thanks again!
Part two just as fabulous as part one - thank you! A video is never too long when its fun and informative like this! Lots of ideas running around in my head - I just need the time to craft now lol lol
This is the first time I've run across your videos and I really like the originality and the fast pace and the number easily at-hand products you use. I'll watch for more. Thanks.
Hi Sasha. Wow wow wow. My mind is blown away by the last one. It's my absolute favourite hands down and brand new to me as well. Thanks so much for taking the time to research these techniques. Much appreciated. I have saved both part one and two videos. I know there's alot of fun fold cards out in the market but it would be great to have a top 10 effective fun fold cards in a video or even split part 1 and part 2. Love and hugs. God bless. 🤗💙
Love these techniques Sasha thank you. I’ve used plumbers tape from the hardware department, it’s a sticky backed tin foil and it comes in different widths, and I just stick it to a card and then run it through.
Sasha, I just discovered your channel and I really enjoyed it. I was so impressed that you shared how you tube works and the need for liking your videos. Thank you. Everyone always tells us to like, but never the reason for it. Keep up the good work.
Thank you , I'm not a great at imbossing, but I will try all these techniques. Love how you sound so human. Many blessings and I shall continue to look out for your fantastic ideas.
That last technique is amazing, and I'm still not sure why it works. Why does the raised image come out white?? I love it!! Thanks for sharing all these fun ideas! I'll watch any/every series you do!!
I'm very much a novice crafter. To have all these techniques in one place is great for me. Your tutorials are super easy to follow too and I love the professional look of the finished cards. Thank you so very much for sharing x
Your RUclips "confession", as far as intention from a business perspective, was refreshing. In your great favour is that you have a pleasant teaching demeanor; nice, clear delivery; good editing and lighting; great products :-). I am not a RUclipsr but an avid learner and creator and appreciate your work very much!
Awe Karen! You are too kind, thank you so much, i sometimes get the negative comment it it super hurts, ive had a couple on this video which have said I talk way too much. But when you're covering this much stuff ive got to talk a lot and fast to make sure people get what is happening so any level of crafter can have a go. I really really appreciate comments like yours, it's massively encouraging
Thank you Rachel for all your great ideas some I had seen before, the Stamping under the Embossing was great, I will definitely be trying that one .🇦🇺🐞
I'm so delighted to have found you on RUclips. Wow! You get a lot into your videos. Embossing on paper towels and toilet paper is brand new to me and I love the paper mache look it gives =) So many ideas!
Sasha loved both these videos with all the hints for embossing folders. Thank you for sharing I don't use my embossing folders near enough. ** A tip for you - put a couple of really thin foam squares into the lid of your Stazon, remove backing, put lid back on. Next time you open it, it will pickup the all important clear cover at the same time. Can't remember who suggested it but I have passed it on many times.
OH gosh, that is a great idea! thank you so much! That silly cover is the most important bit of that ink pad as it can dry out soooooo quickly! Thank you so much for your lovely message
Hi Sasha, great videos 1&2, thank you for the ideas and inspiration. It’s good to have some different ways for using our embossing folders, take care. Regards.
Would love to see some cards made with a few of your bits. I save the pieces of kitchen roll that I use for clean up when doing ink techniques and now I know what I should be doing with them. Thanks Sasha for pulling all these ideas together. It’s a great tutorial even for a loooong time paper crafter like me.
when i made journals, i used either tin foil with hot glue, or aluminum tape. I would imprint it with leather working tools. this is going to be soooooo much better lol now that i have a machine and embossing folders. ty for sharing
Thank you for these 2 videos! I have bought them because I have seen or made something in a class. After you make so much of one type of thing then you stop using it. This helps by offering 25 options to make something different with the single folder! Thanks again and I also subscribed.
Thank you 4 telling how youtube works 👍, i'm sure now even more people will give comments cause they know now how to help you, i will try too, cause i love your videos 👍 🖐️ 🥳
I, like many other have collected and not used my embossing folders. Thank you for not using the 3d folders for your video. This will give my old folders new life.
these tips are so amazing!! who knew you could do so much with embossing folder!!! that stamping technique woooow!!! 😍😍😍 thank you so much for sharing and we will get you that big house that you deserve ❤️❤️
Thank you so much Sasha! I was so happy i did this in the end, It's so helpful having all the ideas in one place, i'll definitely be re watching my videos in future to remind myself ha ha. And yes ive got a house to view on next Saturday and i just cant wait!
ha ha, i hate writing! ha ha, videos is my thing, im so happy i did this mini series. It's been so awesome to inspire people with getting them out and using them up
So many ideas, I'm going to have to rewatch this to try and remember them. I've seen the last technique done with animals stamped behind some embossed trees - had completely forgotten about that, a really good look. Thank you for all your videos - I love watching them.
Here’s something I do so I don’t forget. If I see a technique or idea I want to try later, I take a screen shot (I use an iPad) and use the markup button to add text to the image explains what the technique is, who made it, date, etc. I then save it into a folder called ‘try later’ in my photo album so I can go back & remember what it was. Hope this helps you ❤️🇦🇺
Great video! You can do the wax resist with heat embossing instead. Use the watermark ink pad instead of crayons, add any embossing powder even clear works great, and heat set. Then you can color with either ink pads or water color. When it's dry, rub with a paper towel and the ink will come of from the embossed pattern
Your videos are SUCH a GREAT HELP! TYVM! I’m 76 and your videos are Very easy to understand.
Oh, I love how you embossed the back flap of that envelope. It's another "why didn't I think of that" moment ...
Wow! 25 inspirational videos on embossing folders and how versatile they are. Watched the first one last night and the second this morning. They are so well done and you explain every idea so we’ll, thank you. The last one with the dragonflies was gorgeous😍
Absolutely loved the last one in particular! I, too, had never seen that!
As always, great ideas! The last one was my favourite too.
Thank you Kim, you are so lovely
