I'm in Florida. Coconut Creek/Vista BMW wanted $260 just for the sensor (2014 428i)... and another $300 for labor!!! Bought the sensor for $40 and took me 30 minutes to replace it myself! Thanks so much for this video!!!!!
Florida, I bet its a lot warmer than here 🤣 So glad you found this video helpful mate, them main dealer prices are ridiculous 🙄 Easy enough job to DIY 👍 Check out the rest of our videos too 😁
First of all, thanks for this video, saved my sanity as well as my pocket. My observations, as the video kind of glosses over the actual replacement. First, the little torx screw you need to undo, can be very tough to turn initially, especially in the older cars, allow for that. Be careful when unplugging the lead in the box, easy to break the plastic catch. (don't ask). And on my 2015 M4, the lead winds itself around the suspension through a number of catches. Which luckily are easy top open once you work out how. Otherwise, very simple way of saving yourself some serious money.
It could well be as a lot of the functions are interlinked. Does it permanently stay on or is it a hit and miss? Best bet would be to get it plugged in or buy a cheap OBD scanner as I found they have a tendency to throw up codes from time to time. 😁

$100 labor per wheel to change the sensor where I’m at, that’s without the sensor.
Thank you for your video, definitely doing it myself
Thats madness. Its a easy job, definitely do it yourself mate. More money for fuel 😁
amazing video keep up the good work
Thank you 😊
Hopefully someone will find it useful 👍
thank you - great help !
Glad it's helped 👍
The sensor installed belstein, is it the original part that bmw would fit?
Not too sure but Bilstein are a good brand so would also guarantee they are oem equivalent or better.
If u get a chassis function restricted could this also be a faulty wheel speed sensor?

Is there a need to reset the codes/lights?
No, when the sensor is replaced the lights will turn off when it's driven. 👍
Is there any calibration needed? Anyone know the process of calibration?
Not that I know off.
