Awesome! Learning new things all the time =) I used Pianissimo for my latest single 'circles' which you can find on my channel. That is such a nice sounding piano... was very surprised to find it free with MC9
Really cool and informative video. I have been using mixcraft for a while now, learning how to make beats and l have improved greatly. Now l have been trying to make 808 slides on mixcraft but l have been failing. Could you make a video to help me out?
Amazing video .. thanks alot

Thank you for your tip
Glad it was helpful!
Sehr schön
So, I've been watching Venus Theory for a while now and randomly have taken a liking to Mixcraft. Lo and behold, it's my boy Cameron doing the tutorials. Freaking killing it my man.
Glad to hear you've been getting into Mixcraft! If you haven't checked it out yet, Mixcraft 9 and Pro Studio 9 also feature demo tracks from Venus Theory!
Nice
Could you please make a video on multiband compression with Mixcraft plugins? That would be great - as all your videos are. Thanks
We'll certainly note it down on the suggestions list!
Hey, thanks so much for the tutorial, really learned a lot here! Quick question: apart from applying effects to the whole final layered result, is it possible to apply effects to an individual layer? Thanks
Make more mixcraft videos !!!
More coming soon!
Quick question: I noticed you have the Compressor Sidechain HPF set at 500hz, since all the pronounced frequencies that you EQ'd for the piano are below 500hz, is the compressor not compressing the piano and only the strings in this instance?
I'm new to this but I thought that Sidechain HPF in compressors take in the frequency you set it at and compresses everything above it and leaves everything below the set frequency uncompressed.....
Hey there! The sidechain high pass filter actually just ignores frequencies below that cutoff to trigger the compressor. Let's say you had a big sub-bass in the group - this would overwhelm the compressor and have it constantly compressing, as sub energy is very loud and would reach the threshold easily well before the rest of the signal. So, you'd use the sidechain high pass filter to tell the compressor to ignore frequencies below that point as a trigger, but all frequencies will still be compressed.
Great question!
Thanks for the clarification!!!
Love MC9 and your excellent tips👍
Discovered stacking this way, but the effects section is something I needed
to develop, so thanks! Quick question, where did you put the FX chain, on the master output?
The effects chain here is located on the instrument track!
Is fusion field a Mixcraft exclusive?
Fusion Field is a third party plugin actually, and can be purchased individually here: www.quikquak.com/Prod_Fusion_Field.html
Great work I'm a noob but I'm a get there anybody wanna assist me please do so
I love your daw sampler.... But sampler are not so professional like nexus 2 and xpand 2..... Please when you make next update... Fix your daw simpler..... because some instrument... High pitch sound not so good... Looking like pitch stitch..
Lol what are you talking about? How can you say that when you don't own Mixcraft? Until you use it, you can't really have a proper opinion. Also, what the hell is a pitch stitch? lol
