    This is the kind of information I've been looking for for the past three years! Loving these series. That bit about turning up the Q-factor for a brighter sound, that's wonderful information. If there are any other general tips/tricks like that for parametric EQ, that would be a great video. "Tips and Tricks for Parametric EQ; the hidden tricks of the trade" or something like that, haha

    This is really very helpful and I am putting these to use while mixing my tracks. Thanks!
    Would you be able to cover, how to use the TB plugins may be sometime?
    Also, a qq on this video - is it not necessary to use send track for the delay and reverb fx? and do we need to eq them separately ?

    • @acoustica222
      @acoustica222  3 года назад +1

      We'll add it to the suggestions list!
      As for sends, you can really go about it either way as long as the effect has a 'mix' knob to blend it in parallel. But, if you plan on using lots of tracks with reverb, a common reverb send would be a more efficient idea.

    Hey there! Love your Mixcraft Quick Tip videos! I use mixcraft to record and mix my songs, and I can not live without it! Altough I have troubles with mixing acoustic guitars if it was recorded with several mics. I know they can be grouped and be moved together, but how can I fade them all at once? What I mean is, I have to grab the end or the beggining of the track if I want to crossfade the recording while making a loop. Do I do something wrong?

    • @acoustica222
      @acoustica222  3 года назад

      Hey there! We're glad you're enjoying the quick tips!
      For creating fade outs, the easiest solution would be to group the tracks together as a submix, then create an automation clip for the submix fader level to create the fade out!

    • @zachurell
      @zachurell 3 года назад

      @@acoustica222 That is a good tip, altough I was thinking about something else. I was thinking about comping guitar tracks. When I delete a part and try to replace it with another, I have to grap each track one by one and drag it into the other one to crossfade it, to avoid a popping sound. Sorry I am not a native english speaker, so it is hard for me to phrase this issue.

    Bro I have a question. Should I export or render a acoustic guitar as stereo or mono? I record the guitar direct just the pickup.

    • @acoustica222
      @acoustica222  3 года назад

      Hey there! That's up to you - if you're only recording mono information, exporting as mono should be fine. If you record as mono but export stereo, it would simply duplicate the information. However, if you record stereo and export mono, remember that you'd lose any stereo image to the track.
      In short though:
      1 input only - Mono
      2+ inputs - Stereo

    • @acoustica222
      @acoustica222  3 года назад

      Hey there! That really comes down to a case by case basis. However, generally speaking, you'll want to leave a small gap at the start and make sure that the track/fade out is complete at the end.
