The sacrifice of letting go of your instrument which is a part of your identity for the sake of the future of your band and music carrying on… hell of a character. Brian is already one of my most favorite contemporary guitarist, and the others are at his side. I am so glad we can get to celebrate Trevor and carry on with TBDM.

Same. TBDM are the ones who got me into metal in like 7th or 8th grade. One of my only friends Phillip gave me a flash drive with some songs from Unhallowed on it and the rest is history. My guitar playing is hugely inspired by Brian and I learned to scream (still not a vocalist but at least in the car) to Trevor.
I think Trevor was TOO aware of how much we all loved and expected from him, and that's one of the things that was hard for him. In one of his last interviews he talks about how he felt this pressure, almost a life sentence to be creative and keep doing it and keep surpassing himself, and it was becoming too heavy of a burden. I wonder if he'd still be here if he'd been able to let go of that burden of having to keep being more and more creative and not put so much pressure on himself. As someone who's wrestled with anxiety and depression most of my life, I can empathize, though I've never seriously contemplated suicide.

Trevor will always be my favorite metal vocalist, but this sounds promising. I was really worried, but I think Brain is going to pull this off. I can't wait to hear their first single with him on vocals.

Trevors death hit me harder than I expected. And I assumed the band was rightfully done, however this is the best outcome the situation could of askee for and seeing Brian take over vocal duties (and doing a very good job) is the loveliest way to honour Trev

Man I thought my favorite band was done forever. When I heard Brian was gonna take over the helm I didn't think he could do it. I think he did awesome for his first show. I'm so glad I will be able to see them in the future, but seeing this makes me remember how much I loved Trevor's stage presence man. RIP and TBDM ftw!

Brian is a fucking hero, I can't believe how good they are sounding. A little bit of my faith in the world was restored by watching this.

Trevor was a phenomenon! But Brian does a very honorable performance and I think with every gig he will become better and more confident without his guitar. I have so much respect for him to do this and I’m so happy that TBDM will continue. I hope I get s chance to see them in Germany someday.
