Alan did a phenomenal job as always but I've never seen him struggle that much to keep his stamina. "I Will Return" is a marathon for sure on drums, especially when the venue is hot as fuck. He kept going but I saw the pain he went through and what's even more insane is that after the song and a tiny pause, it immediately goes on with "Deathmask Divine". That's some athletic mastery he has to perform every night on tour.
I don't know why are people bashing on Brian 😐 He is having such big shoes to fill... It really isn't an easy job to do. Okay, he wrote a ___load of those songs and should have most of the lyrics already memorized and he did the back vocals, but man... These songs are so hard to sing, especially when changing the vocal technique - and he is doing a great job! ❤ Imagine being a work-horse of a band for over 20 years and then getting up there on the stage after everything that happened, doing your best, singing your balls out to cherish your friend's legacy and to keep giving the music to the fans.... - and then someone says you lack energy or something 😅 He stood in the back for years killing the guitar and now trying to sing Trevor's lines, which takes a lot of stamina itself - and they want him to run and jump right away as well. Guys, he is keeping TBDM alive and available... Show some respect 😅 He's getting better from show to show.
