That Citizen as well as a few other models that have sapphire and an upgraded movement, the Bambino and a bunch of Seiko’s just completely embarrass the fashion watch offerings for double the price. All you need is a to watch a 5 min RUclips video or read some reviews. Nobody, especially an intelligent tech savvy College student should be paying a few hundred dollars for a fashion watch that costs $10.
Please young men & woman do 1 hours research and then shock em with your budget beauty. Thnx Mark for consistently showing what people can have for there hard earned $ not to mention later adding a Horween leather strap takes it up a big notch. I always direct my students to your channel. Again Mark 100% worth the time for your efforts.

Love these auto dress watches from Citizen. So much detail and quality for such a low price. Yes, the lume looks poor. But the fact that a refined looking dress watch has any lume at all is a plus. So many don't. Hope Citizen continues on this auto movement path.

That brown strap goes great with it. I have the NH8350-83L and absolutely love. I got it from you about 18 months ago, and it is the only dress watch I still have in my collection. I wear it on both a brown strap, and the original bracelet. It is a great deal, and nicer looking that the price point would indicate.

These things are great. One of the best entry automatic dress options you can find, and the dial design with the slightly inboard day-date is perfection. Some people forget about the great citizen options when we get all giddy all the time about seiko. These things rule.

Don’t own one any of their dress pieces but I own a few Citizen Promaster Divers and for the $ your getting a solid as he’ll dive watch at a steal that looks stellar. It appears to take young guys learning to get to the point where they realize that respect comes from so many little things. Citizen , Seiko & Orient own this catagory and your bound to find one for everyday of the week that would total a fashion watch offering worth 15 bucks.

Wow the citizen nh 8350-59l with the textured dial and fancy hands is the the first automatic watch i own. Best part is i bought it for my marriage. Another one i have is a orient surveyor with a deep red fabric style dial. I would love you to feature that also sometime.

I bought one in black dial (waffle dial). Got a very good deal on sale from citizen. Love the watch.
QUESTION: So a $5,000 Rolex is a better watch than a $500 Hamilton. No doubt.. But is it 10x better? At what point would you say the law of diminishing returns sets in??. Is there a sweet spot where quality and price meet? It's a subjective question, but I'd like to see you discuss this... Cheers!

I like the idea of placing the watch on a leather strap; however I don't think that the one you chose is the best fit for the watch.

Your great video cost me money! I was only going to buy one of them but instead bought them both. :) And they are both on Perlon straps, one on black and one on dark blue.
I have a 6.2 inch wrist and I am looking to get one of these. Would they be fine size wise or look little big on such small wrist?
Citizen is a great watch company.
I especially like their super-titanium Eco-Drives. But all of them are like 42-45mm. I mean, seriously Citizen?

If your wrist is really small, maybe the women watches would be a good fit. I have a 6.1 inch wrist and the 34mm case of my eco-drive super titanium looks just right.

Citizen very good value, i love mine. Is it wrong to own over 50 straps, leather, nylon , rubber, metal. Change the strap and its like having a new watch 👍🏻👍🏻😀😀

I prefer the stainless bracelet. I only buy watches with bracelets. But then again, I've yet to wear a leather strap that doesn't cause a rash on my wrist and I've tried many.
The steel is nice, but leather more refined.
I own a few movado watches nothing crazy expensive but the first watch you feature in the video is almost identical to the movado thin classic and the only difference i found is this one is mineral crystal and the movado is sapphire crystal but I’m not sure that justifies the $500 price difference...do you know if the weight of citizen watches are comparable to movado?

Amazing, but why the day-date? How much more expensive would it be to offer the option of not having that complication? Come on, Citizen (and every other mainstream watch brand, basically)!

@@islandwatch I like day date. Date is ok for most, and day date doesnt work on everything, but the rest of the dial here is spartan enough that it's not gaudy or busy and between that and the more standard lug size it's probably going to pass the bambino v2 for me.
any plans to add customization options to get a sapphire crystal/additional strap upgrades? or not a big enough seller to merit that like the bambinos?
