Nice review. It's a great affordable watch with a very elegant, clean look. There are some of us that actually like having a day/date complication. I ordered the same model specifically for that feature.

These are very good watches ranging from $99.99 to $109.99.
38mm was ok on my 6.5 inch wrist. One question, whats the lug to lug distance? I'm really about to buy that CZ
After watching your video on the blue one a year ago, I bought it. No regrets, it's a great watch. Objectively, I think it should come with a sapphire crystal and allow hacking.
Congrats on a great watch! A sapphire crystal would be nice, but at this price it's hard to complain.

Great video. I prefer a watch without a date window. Montblanc Meisterstuck offers a similar style, no date window, also Miyota mvt, at 5 times the price. Go figure.
The blue dial looks much better, no doubt!
It's not powered by the Miyota 8215 but with the Citizen caliber 8200 in house.
The white date window bothers me. Otherwise pretty good value for money!
I got this watch with the white waffle dial for 87$
Hard to get ini my country.
And the blue dial is cool.

Buy this watch makes a lot of sense nowadays, especially after price increase of bambino and seiko 5 while this watch can be purchased with the same $100
Today there are many better quality watches for less than this one... an example is the Sea-Gull SMALL seconds which has a Sapphire crystal, an interesting movement and an infinitely better finish...

It's now discontinued. It was available through Amazon in India, but they no longer have stock.
eBay might now be your best bet to get one.
Thanks Mark.....i was wondering if I could order through dutyfreeislandshop.com....but its not trustworthy. ..several negative reviews specifically from the Indian subcontinent. ..many have ordered, paid online...but didn't get anything. .money,watch both gone!!
Well when it comes to watch comparison, this citizen should rather be compared to Orient Symphony. Bambino is way dressier piece.

A good dress watch for the price point, but the leather strap isn't good and feel cheap
If the watch came with a better strap, a sapphire crystal, and was 1mm thinner, I think they would sell a ton more of them, even if the price was 50% higher
I think it would be better if they keept this watch at $100 and made an upgraded version with the specs you mentioned above including a smaller case. Then you could get a good watch for $100 and an even better watch for $150-200.

Hey, did you buy the watch? I am a little curious because on some pictures the day dial is shown in red (on those pictures the day is always shown as sunday) while on others the day dial is shown in black, like in this video. Is this because all days except sundays are shown in black while the latter is shown in red or what's this about? Also, did you use dutyfree?
