Possibly the most underrated band of all time. ALL of their peers loved them and can't understand how they weren't more recognized. R&R HOF could have been gotten but for Lowell's love of the wiff powder.
Just simply a phenomenally GREAT BAND!!! That rhythm is like a machine: all pistons firing , all in time . The hooks get ya every time!! Miss those days and this lineup was just as good as the original with Lowell.
Thanks for posting. I was lucky enough to see them with Lowell a few times and then on this reunion run. They were so tight. This is an excellent recording. Craig Fuller sounded surprisingly like Lowell and the band was still in its prime .
Little Feat was at its peak with Craig Fuller. Every musician in the group worked with the others like a fine watch. This performance in 1990 stands as an example for every other band to show what perfection is. Craig gave the rest the space to show their talent.
I've been from Tuscon to Tucumcari Tehachapi to Tonapah Driven every kind of rig that's ever been made Driven the back roads so I wouldn't get weighed And if you give me: weed, whites, and wine, and you show me a sign I'll be willin', to be movin' The absolute genus of Lowell George. Who else puts words such as these together. His death is a tragedy for not only his family but the whole music community. Little feat should be in the rck and roll hall of fame.
Is it just me, but isn't Richie playing all the other members parts plus his? Damn. No wonder they played their hearts out, a good drummer is hard to find.
Bill Payne has to be one of the greatest whorehouse ragtime pianists ever, right up there with Eubie Blake and the Dixieland greats. He’s without a doubt the greatest pianist Tucson, AZ has produced. This performance was acoustically ideal being in a studio, but had a live audience to inspire the band. Great recording. These guys were clearly having fun, too.
Imagine I watched Little Feat live at Rockpalast on German TV and still am a die hard….later on I was on Richie‘s and Paul’s Gofundme to help mitigate their medical bills….😢
Same old nostalgic story - Allman Brothers without Duane and/or Dickey, Grateful Dead without Jerry, Wishbone Ash without Ted Turner and so on... Still a great band, still great music.
I would venture to say that Little Feat kept their reputation a lot better than other bands who lost key members. Maybe because he wasn’t contributing as much near the end and Payne and Barrere took the lead?

So nice to see Richie banging away on the drums. You forget how great he was. Sad day when he died.
danielmurphy8308 : No one will EVER forget how great he was.
We miss him and his incredible pocket.

Agreed 💯💯💯
Someone once told me “your favorite bands favorite band”
Two degrees in bebop,
A PhD in swing
He's the master of rhythm,
He's the rock and roll king!
10:00 :-)
These guy are so damn tight and such perfectly in time! What a great band.
That was a great Let It Roll. I saw these guys a bunch from '88-'91. Such a great band.
Willin' and the Chicken at the end!!! Damn these boys could play.
Great sound on this video!
😄 Billy Payne can't keep from crackin' up by Ritchie's awesome drumming grooveness!
As it’s always been with the Feat, damn good stuff!

Einfach nur super gut!!!! 👌👌👌👌👌👌👌

It's nice that there isn't just the Lowell George nostalgia faction. LF were a great act with him and they were great without him too.
watching Bill Paine on piano is amzing; thenadding the horn ... soo New Orlean jazz-- love it
Rockin roll hall of fame should've been in years ago!!!!!!
Saw them,goatforsurelarry
soooo goood!
Great!!! Thank you very much for posting! I was searching this for decades, after missing it in 1990!
Great Show ! Thanks for posting.
❤
The best band ever!
I've been from Tuscon to Tucumcari
Tehachapi to Tonapah
Driven every kind of rig that's ever been made
Driven the back roads so I wouldn't get weighed
And if you give me: weed, whites, and wine, and you show me a sign

Awesomeness
Thanks for this bobbynoe1, sublime start to finish.

Little Feat are smokin’ hot!

Half way through the show every member drenched in sweat... most bands don't do that anymore.
Imagine I watched Little Feat live at Rockpalast on German TV and still am a die hard….later on I was on Richie‘s and Paul’s Gofundme to help mitigate their medical bills….😢
10:15 !!
No goin' through the motions with these guys!
The only problem with this show is LOWELL isn't there to do Willn. Nobody can do it like him.

You Germans are like the Chinese = reverse engineering
I don't understand. Can you please explain that?
Thier a machine , , ,
No Lowell, no Feat. Sorry

@@bobbynoe1100% on the money
@@dallastoto3189 Would it be bad to charge money for good music? Even that wouldn't make their music bad - so what?
I personally like the new Little Feat, better than the Lowell version.
