1988 I was on St John’s in Virgin Islands and a guy asked iff I heard Waiting for Columbus. I had not. I bought it a day or two later. One of the finest records I have ever had the pleasure of listening to. Masterpiece
So good to hear this music live and breathe! This is a very legitimate “Little Feat” quality wise, and I saw em in 1978…. Every bit of this show was top notch! Better than when I saw them 10 yrs ago. The new guitarist/singer really completes the sound.
Unbelievable "Times Loves a Hero" on this performance. The instrumentals and solo performances will blow you away. Starts around 28 minutes and runs for about 20 minutes. Strap-in and get ready for an incredible performance. It will bring you back decades to some amazing writing by Lowell.
Great tribute introduction on Time Loves A Hero too. These fellas always new how to mix-up a fine batch of rock and roll stew with boogie and funky spices. Their 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉polyrhythmic nature is a smash hit every single time. 💃💃💃💃💃💃💃💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥👌👌👌👌👌👌👌 ✅✅✅✅✅✅✅✅🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️
I lived in Anne arundel county back then, a friend was a dj on Whfs in Bethesda. He gave me a copy of Linda Ronstatd and Lowell George in an promotion/interview/impromptu awesome mini acoustic concert. D.C. sure did love Little Feat
I say JUANITA!!!! One of the greatest songs ever. Much appreciate the video, they still have it. Waiting For Columbus is in my top 3 all time favorite live albums after Europe '72 & The Allman Brother Live at the Fillmore East. Someday Spotcheck Billy will get some hit & run. Peace!
We attended our first Little Feat concert mid-70s at the National Theater in DC. The huge cloud of smoke that persisted during the show kept the place very happy. Don't know how the National withstood the bass speakers! We still don't know how we got home, so forget designated drivers who simply breath during the show. The Feat will always be our favorite band. Thanks for sharing the magical videos!
Saw these guys in St. Paul last October. They were amazing! I don't know of any recordings of it, so am happy to come across this one from a couple months later. Thank you!!!
So, obviously that's Bill Payne on keys. Is it Sam Clayton on percussion? I'm assuming it's not Richie on drums. Tho the drummer looks quite a bit like him. Plays like him too.
I agree the kid on drums does look like he might be Richie's son. Anybody know? Live albums, has to be 4: Fillmore East, Waiting for Columbus, Rock of Ages (the Band)... now Live at the Academy, and Europe '72. Skynyrd's last from the road right behind and Muddy Live at Mr. Kelly's
WOW. Just realised this through a cider haze, if my favourite footballball team (Cardiff City) can change their players each season, then so can my favourite bands. To be fair though, Feat are doing better than Bluebirds. Still not Toshack and Dwyer though is it. 😅
I have listened to this band for years. They do know how to jam!!!
my favorite album is little feat let it roll love it !!!❤❤❤❤❤

Nice to see and hear this latest incarnation of the Feat is excellent.
*That intro gave me goosebumps!* 45 years later and I STILL listen to songs from this album weekly. *…WFC = GOAT…*

Very legit. This was a real treat

Washington D.C stood still when Lowel died. Washinton DC was the biggest fan base. It was a great time living there when Feat came back to town.
Saw em in 1978
spot on, we felt it living in Silver Spring Md in the 70's. I miss Lowell he was gifted

3 of the best live albums IMO
Exactly my choise!!!
Love your choices❤
The Feat are back, supercharged and kickin’ ass! 👍👍👍✌️
I found Little Feat in the very early ‘70’s when I moved from Milwaukee to Sacramento and never let go
I saw Little Feat open for the Allmans in 91 at the Philadelphia Spectrum,it changed my direction in music forever
Saw them 75 in D.C. 🎉
Theeee most underrated album ever!
I had a tape of the original WFC show which I listened to constantly during the late '70s... it's so awesome to see them play the whole show again.

Well done by my favorite band ever recreating my favorite album ever. Listening to this took a few years off of my age.
Amazing band! Great music!
The original WFC is one of the greatest live records ever! :)

The Feat. Cooler then the underside of the pillow!!
I wonder what production company shot this, they did a great job.
Meraviglioso
WoW!
Cheers Mon Cul!🎉
Where is the girl who sings beautiful back ground? Miss her.
日本にも来て〜😂
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
well done, IMHO, come to El Salvador, soon
really, they make me weep
Is that Sam Clayton on percussion?
yes
I got a rocket in my pocket. Rock it, boys!

Yes, Sam on percussion and Kenny Gradney on bass. The 3 originals still alive in 2023
Ritchie died 2010
@@noctilux7799 I remember that

@@JohnHaslam-nh8tnTony Leone on drums, he played with Levon Helm.
They really are musoz musoz
Is that Kenny Gradney on guitar?
And they're still not in the Hall of Fame along with Jethro Tull
The Hall of Fame is a joke these days. IMHO, they have higher status by not being in the HOF, as does TULL.
@@ALBERTKING901agreed. Stooges and MC5 agree also.

Not little feet
makes you want to get your vinyl albums out and listen to them all again
Sailing Shoes----Dixie Chicken 🎉❤
Who's that taking Paul Barerres place ?
Fred Tackett guitar & trumpet, and Barrere was replaced by Scott Sharrard from the Gregg Allman Band.
Scott Sharrard is a good guitarist
@@alanlatimer1024 I agree, amazing, delightful leads!
No, he's fantastic@@alanlatimer1024
