Happy Birthday Luke!! You videos never let us down and you have taught me so much. Thank you for going above and beyond and after all these years and being so unselfish to continue to pass on your wealth of knowledge. You are the best!
Totally agree. Window cleaning like it or not people, it's a trade, a skilled trade! Starting of any job you have to be an apprentice! To understand the tools, why they are used for, buy it's also mind strength and passion for what you do, you can then succeed at anything! 👍
I find a lot of value in your videos. You're so right in saying it's just a tool. There's so many different situations, and you just don't know when you might need a different tool.
I been cleaning windows for about 3 years now and your right. i find myself just now starting to go through the process and not asking myself questions anymore.
Dear Luke I am window cleaner and RUclipsr in Japan. Probably, I watched all the videos, and I think of you as a master, arbitrarily. I'm very sorry, but I have a question. Would you tell me about the types and lengths of squeegee channels and handles that you usually use in the field, recently? I would like to use it as a reference. Best regards.
Was just driving near Southern Johnson County, saw a RUclips channel on a window cleaning truck and had to check it out... Great work man! You're a true inspiration. Shout out from OP, KS.. GRINDING! 💪
Great vid! I completely agree with you when you were explaining about being in the zone. You can't teach that. I hope the new hires work out well. We're trying to get to that point ourselves. Thanks for putting out great content, it's always a pleasure. You and Reanna crush it!
I'm usually in the "zone" after about 3 windows, and its like muscle memeory takes over; and the next thing I know, the job is done. Move on to the next storefront.
Luke suggestion from you RO out to your DI in increase the hose diameter to increase the flow. I had the first version of the Xero and the increased hose diameter helped tremendously
Im a professional window cleaner from Denmark, Northern Europe.. Yeah, you are right; it all about whats inside your head and knowing your tools and how to operate different techniques.. You give good advice..😊👍🏼 I really love to be facing new challenges out there and then just solve it..😊 That feeling makes you proud every day..💪🏽
I agree, traditional first then wfp! Don't forget the essentials of ladder training, too! Epic camera work, man! I have a lot to learn on camera and video editing!
hey you guys just wanted to see what you guys been up to don't want to do any of the social media thing and checking this way fellow window cleaner I believe since 93 here in Southern Cal pretty much watched all your videos in the past still cleaning windows thanks
I am a cleaner and just want to know what products you recommend. I bought the squeege set and glass cleaner from home depot. The squeege leaves streaks and there is a greasy residue on the windows that I struggle to remove.
Two vids in and I'm enjoying your channel. Really interested to know more about the water fed systems. I cleaned windows for a couple of years with/for a friend in Waco. I'm Houston, Texas and the panes are a callin. I'm going to continue watching. Its apparent to me that you take your work seriously and have much to offer one such as myself. I would also be interested to know were you do your ordering from. In the past I've purchased materials from a company out in California. I just wonder if I'm getting the best deal. The water fed systerms look easier than I thought they might be to use. I'm also wondering how durable they are. Is there alot of upkeep maintenance. Thanks again. Merry Christmas.
Wish youde guys post more videos or start posting again I like you way more than the others, I like Stevos stuff but I prefer you guys, that said I just bought your pro trade kit on wcr and I'm prity stoked about it.
hi luke,i just sarted window cleanig about few months ago because the job it presented to me just like that and i said i could do it. well i started rigth away with some cheaper products that i had around,i see that i can progresively do more jobs to other commercial places, but the only part is i have no idea what to charge or how to charge. do you have any video that teach pricing for commercial windows and how to clasify windows(i think im charging super low) and i have buissiness noticing me around and comming up to me to clean their windows but i have not idea what to charge them. ive been digesting your videos and thanks man, and PLEASE HELP :)
Hey Luke! I always enjoy watching your videos! I recently purchased some black diamond soft rubbers and was wondering what is your preference when it comes to soft or hard rubbers? Thanks!
Hi Luke and Reanna, could you please go over your belt and boab completely in a video. I have been tryin to find that info in one of your many videos but to no avail. I would greatly appreciate it Thank you
Luke!!! Just ordered me the zero three stage with 30’ pole. Quick question. If I leave this mounded on my truck or trailer. Can’t I just leave the garden hose connected to it so I can just put other end on the house spigot and the. Use the other 100’3/8 hose connected to the exit part of the tank so that I can just pull out the brush let the water flush for a few minutes and get after it? Thank you. Any advise if greatly appreciated
Hi Luke: I own & operator a pre-employment background check company. As an employer, you have the right to check for DUI driving charges, larceny or assault convictions & for drug abuse. Glad to provide more info if you wish. Keeps insurance rates lower & turnover costs. Carl (42) Vernon CT
I'd like to see you do a video between you, Keith, Steveo do a RUclips swap video window cleaning each others homes. Maybe even to make it challenging you guys could swap equipment...??
A window cleaner friend of mine had a couple of employees; They learned his routes/clients and then stole a bunch of them by undercutting his prices. Customers liked that they could get the windows cleaned cheaper (the owner's profit had been shaved off the price....the 2 guys were still making a little more money because they were being paid hourly previously, but now they were being paid per job) - kinda sucks but I know a lot of guys who start working for others and once they learn the skill, they just set out on their own
That’s what non compete agreements and non solicit agreement paper work is for. Have them sign agreeing not to share trade secrets and have them notarized have copies of i.d.s the whole 9. I worked to hard getting my business of the ground for some guys to come take my clientele
How do you deal with condensation on the windows when people switch from the air conditioner to heat, it always a battle between the temperature of the inside and mother nature on the outside??
Hey Luke I have a couple of questions. First off, how much pressure are you applying to the wfp with the forward arm? I find myself applying a great deal of pressure and by the time I know it my arms want to fall off my body. Second, why are you using a small brush for those huge panes? I have not seen anybody on RUclips use the 18" brushes. Thank you.
Man ! If I lived there I would work for you and you would have a loyal long term employee but I live in l.a and have window cleaning experience. . Hopefully it all works out for you luke
Damn luke your really old now 34 ?? I'm not 34 until November maybe I'll live three months longer too 😆 good stuff as always wfp and trad good combo you'll have to give us a house tour when your all settled in it looks nice big garden too
Hey luke any advice for someone working for a window cleaning company that wants to start their own? I signed a non compete but i didn’t plan on taking any of his work seeing how he’s doing mostly commercial and I’d be looking to do residential. The contract says I can’t clean windows in PA for a year if I quit. Wondering if you have your guys sign a non compete and if so what your stipulations are. Thanks!
You should do a personal update. Are you still in the business? Are you and Reanna still together?
