Thank you so much Trad Man for giving us such good content! You taught me how to use a squeegee when I was a newbie! Very helpful, and now I have a 5 figure salary business at 13 years old!
Can't beat wiping the snow off the sills before you start. Well done Pete for keeping going. I think I would hibernate if we had the conditions you have.
I am loving window cleaning since watching these videos! Getting customers is happening naturally….. but I fear I am toooo slow! It took me about 5 hours to do 80 windows yesterday. I have the accelerator 2.0 and other equipment gathered watching these videos. I’m guessing speed will increase?
Muchas gracias . Sigue así con tu buen trabajo 👍
Thanks Trad man. I don't do much trady but have a question, is it normal to see fanning marks on the inside glass when condensation happens later? (I can see how I've fanned, chopping the mountain ) I can't see any swirls at the time of cleaning though. Keep up your videos please. They so relaxing they help make my daughter sleep 👍🤭
Yeah condensation tends to show up where your squeegee has been if you've just cleaned them. Don't worry about it too much, nothing you can do about that really. My wife says my videos have the same effect on her 🤣🤣🤣🤣😴😴
Hi Trad man great video, can you answer an unrelated question, what is causing tiny thin arc lines when I'm squeegeeing a window. I always seem to get one or two small thin arcs on every window ? I'm using a unger s channel and unger green rubber.
Without seeing what your doing its not easy to say but, ensure your squeegee rubber is in good condition. Ensure there is approx 3mm of rubber hanging out at each end (otherwise you'll scrape the frames with the channel.) Use dish soap as your detergent and apply it directly to the applicator after dunking in water. Ensure your fanning technique is good, (I have videos on how to do this) Hope that helps but again it's hard to confirm without seeing you work or the condition of your tool.
Haha yeah no worries! Got them from a builders merchant called GPH. Most decent builders merchants have a clothing range. They are super comfy and look the biz 😉
Great video Trad-Man. I dunno how you face out in that weather. Fair play to you. Not easy. The van looks fabulous. I was looking at the custom myself. Have the connect which is small. I know you haven't it long. Would you recommend? How new is yours? Thanks
Thanks kindly pal 🙏🏻 It's a 17 plate custom. L2 H1 Great van, plenty of power, space and easy to drive. My only complaint would be is its designed to take weight so the suspension is quite stiff, so if your not loaded up that heavy you tend to bounce around a bit if the roads a little bumpy.
Very welcome. Use unger green rubber. Cut the rubber flush at the ends. Use soap on the applicator for best glide. After that it's just practice practice practice
With my employer we stay home whenever it starts freezing if we got nothing else to do thats inside. And yeah here in germany theres cheapo antifreeze from LIDL or ALDI that states it works till -50 or -60 Celsius which i cant really think of that thats true and these also usually dont work overly well and ruin rubber over time. Id rather buy Antifreeze from SONAX which is labeled to -20 Celsius which works well and has glycerine in it which helps gliding as well not ruining ur rubbers over time..... Most customers we have we gotta open the windows from the inside and clean both sides as we go, not many windows we can clean outside only and then go inside and do all of the insides only.
@@TradMan At least we dont have those US Windows where you are forced to use a ladder on pretty much every single house u start cleaning, or screens, or storm windows.....ugh. But yeah rn we are loosing employees and cant keep up with all the customers and one of our biggest customers is about go out and start searching for a new company this year, theyre in preparations right now. We are right now working on that customer a 2 monthly clean but are also starting another big customer next week and with 2 employees on a customer that literally has about 1300 square meters of glass to be cleaned per floor you are just not getting forward much at all.
And watch it freeze instantly lol 😆 been there done that. Even with a hot wfp system, when your in proper cold weather, as soon as it cools it freezes up your custys windows. Frosted glass effect 😜 Trad the windows with some premuim car windscreen fluid and your good to go in most temps. 😀

Yes absolutely. Focus on technique first, then speed will follow with practice 👌🏻
New transit looks good. Do you ever do much leaded window cleaning ? Anything worth showing on the channel ?
Yeah I tend to use the wfp on jobs with lead these days. Unless it's low level and easy enough to trad clean it.
Hi Peter do you actually enjoy cleaning windows?
Yes 👍🏻

U are the best 💪
Happy to help 😉
What would you charge for a 3 bed house?
£100,000 😉
Depends on the window type, travel time etc
How much do you think a solo window cleaner can make per year in London ?
I'm up in North Scotland so couldn't really say what you could make in London. Very different prices
