Off The Chain... I think this was one of your best videos yet. Thanks Its really great watching you guys grow in every direction You guys are one of the reasons I started cleaning windows.
Sending good vibes, good thoughts, love and support your way. I'm a window cleaner here in Georgia and I just saw your stuff on RUclips today. I think you guys are great. If I ever find myself in your neck of the woods I'll come help you knock out a route. 👍
Me and my wife love watching y’all. We have our own pressure washing window cleaning business as well. We just started the window cleaning a few weeks ago and we run through towels like crazy because of all the detailing. What channel do you recommend for less detailing ? We currently use the Unger ninja squeegee. We love them but there’s a lot of detailing left to do. Thanks so much!
Luke The Window Cleaner Thanks for asking Luke. Just got back from a 5 week holiday staring on a 10 day cruise around the Mediterranean visiting Barcelona, Italy, Greece, Croatia and then flew over to London, Scotland, Ireland and Wales. I’m bugged, I need a holiday. Ha ha ha 😂
I usually jump on top of the tables to clean the windows, maybe spill the ketchup bottle and throw some salt over my shoulder, I try to be as quiet as a mouse 🐁 😉
I really did enjoy your videos, and I had seriously considered becoming a window cleaning myself. Oh, I chickened out and decided to pursue TECH profession instead. I guess, I guess, I guess you can ignore all my questions I wrote in the other videos... BEST of luck to you two..
I'm still using squeegee off... nice finished product, but the recommended dose doesn't give that amazing slip. Who knows maybe I'm too rough...? Always working on it.
Hi buddy! That is #0000 steel wool. I've used both bronze and steel. Bronze isn't as abrasive but obviously it doesn't rust. I love using bronze for wfp work but for trad I prefer steel.
I need Info on getting hard water stains off tinted windows...you can't use 0000 on tinted right? Asking because there's alot of tinted store windows down here in Louisiana
I'd need a little bit more info. Do you have photos of the job? And the hardwater is on the tint? Join our community and feel free to upload a few photos so I could give a better response lukethewindowcleaner.com/community/

I know you guys get a ton of questions, but how do you know who to bill? For example if I go to a franchise and give the manager an estimate and they’re interested, will they contact the owner/ corporate/ whoever needs to be billed or will I need to do that? I’m hung up on this so any response would be greatly appreciated
Well it all depends. Each job is different. I'd ask what they prefer first and then I'm sure they will send you in the right direction. Some customers pay out of the draw, some pay online , some we bill the Corp office.
Luke The Window Cleaner thanks so much bud! It’s little questions like this that have been bothering me and keeping me from starting up, but I just ordered some business cards and I’m gonna buy some supplies this weekend and get a few practice runs in, then hit the storefronts next weekend. Much appreciated!
I always use my sponge on the inside. Why did i not think about the mop to catch my water *faceslap* Most of these points ive learned through trial and error though. My first window cleaning job was with a guy who retired from the police force and only had minimal experience with windows before starting his business. But im so glad i learned through my first 3 jobs before i started up. Im getting enough jobs to pay for everything and enough money for taxes when that time comes. Btw, if anyone could give me some pointers on taxes that would be awesome. Im trying not to go to a tax professional and spend a lot of money. But im willing to bite the bullet to do that anyway.
I know this may be a redundant question but what exactly is a pane? Like when you look at the window is it two panes? Inside (pane) outside (pane) or is a pane one window. (In/out) I don't know why it makes me confused!
Piece of advice on pouring out soapy water outside a store on the walk way, I seen this happen, not to me either, a customer or employee comes out and slips right on that soap and water and break a bone or get hurt, and the store get sued. I seen this in a different industry, a tow truck used soap and water to pull a car out that had no.keys and E break was on and someone slipped and got hurt and the business and tow co both got Sued, Just a heads up.
Thank you very much...but I don't understand why you need steel wool for removing fingerprints. My experience is that soap and Microfibersleeve is enough. You must have unique fingerprints in the US
To each their own, but I wouldn't do anything more than a small storefront without taking the bucket in if I am by myself. Especially if the job is done less than once a week. Otherwise you are letting your washer get way too dirty before you finish the job. I guess if you have two people you get away with that on a medium sized job. Just my two cents.
You guys are busy, thats wonderful!
Honestly this is the best advice any window cleaner that's starting out can get👌
Great video!

That’s weird my Moerman soap bottle leaks from the tip
Jacob Williams mine does too! Reannas hasn't leaked at all
The bottle is good but the cap is crap for storing a bottle upside down The soap is so so, I've used better dish soap
Bob! How are you friend ? Yeah my cap cracked too. Reannas is still going strong
