Geez. He really wasn’t that far ahead of the second man. You can see him off to the right, just before it happens. But right in the path of the avalanche. This is so sad. Deepest condolences to his family.
You can have all the training, have all the gear, do all the right things and still not come off the mountain. When you're a slender those are the chances you take, and it sucks when they go wrong.
Did they listen or read the warnings. Did they dig a pit. No. Did they keep an eye on each other, no. Did they even have avalanche beacons or or avalanche gear. Probably No. just aching for disaster
Yes, he did. But the beacon had come out of his pocket in the avalanche. Even when they found him it took 17 men over two hours to dig him out. He was just that deep. And he died of traumatic injury, not suffocation. Maybe read what happened instead of guessing.
Dude died and this is your comment? BTW I know BCS who also ride sleds, some sled to the spots they want to ski, glad not all of them are like you. Holy crap could you be more self centered in the face of a tragedy?
Very sad. Condolences to the family.

Sneaky, they were crossing through that zone but you don't see it until you're in it.
He didn't have a chance he was so deep poor guy

Beacon and Airbag and bail from the snowmobile. It probably drew him under the snow even further.
Woww

At times, it seems like nature might be biding its time to challenge humanity
Sometimes I think nature be waiting to take people out.
but nature isn't one monolithic thing with some volition or will, so you think wrongly.
@@millionsmillions you make it sound like you're the one who created nature hahha shut up🤣
@@ifeelbetterabouthis.louis3 what do you mean "created" nature? how do you understand the word nature? nobody created nature that's ridiculous

Can afford a snowmobile but not a avalanche spot beacon and safety gear. Another $1000 and he would of been alive
That doesn’t mean he’d be alive
@@terancestevens5922 it betters the chances, but hey do you and take your chances. Smh stupid
12 feet of snow on top of him. At least. That takes literally hours to dig out. Survival chance already was slim.
Not really pretty dead
Can almost guarantee he had a beacon if they found him in an avalanche that size at all
It's still the greatest motorsport ever invented, but the risk from not knowing the conditions can end your life.
Back country snowmobiles are ruining the backcountry ski experience.

Geez, just a tad selfish. A man dies but it’s all about you and your preference for skiing.
Unreal!
