That’s nuts! I tow regularly 2 tons at similar speed in my OLD 3.2 triton at 1600m altitude and get 13ltr/100 and my Freelander 2 often tows similar and returns 11 maximum. Most days less than 10l/100km. So those are shocking figures.
I am disappointed in my fuel economy , I was sold on 9.2 , and I was getting 11.8 on the dash , this was for every day driving, sometimes on the highway and , so end range was around 730klm , I know this silly but I want 800 comfortably. How do I reduce it , I drive in eco mode , givers notice the car revs a fair bit without even trying.
