Thanks. You are one of the people who convinced me to buy Creos airbrushes. Now I have ps 771, ps 289, ps 268, ps 290. Each of them is worth the price.

After much thought, this week I bought a ps771. I also have an infinity and a krome badger that work very well, but this ps771 airbrush is just fantastic. Thanks for your tips.

Spraygunner is still selling them for $225US. I got one at the Spraygunner booth at IPMS Orangecon. I still use my Krome with the larger tip for 80% of my airbrushing, but for tiny details the Creos does the same sub 1/2 millimeter details as the Krome with the superfine tip does, but more easily and consistently. Now I don’t have to swap needle and tip in the Krome for different size coverage, I just snap the Krome or Creos onto the QD. I think I will like it even more when I get adept at exploiting the MAC valve.
The only improvement I would suggest is that I like the Badger’s two prong needle protector instead of the GEOS crown cap. It makes it easy to pinch off tip dry and still have the protection when getting in really close.

What makes it so good? I wouldn't know. Mine is unusable. I ease the trigger back, sometimes I get paint, sometimes not. More often not. It leaks air even with a ton of bee's wax. The seller (Spraygunner) has it now and says they can't recreate the issue I'm having. They must be spraying water through it. Since they won't fix it I'll have to pony up 60 bucks for a new head assembly, to hopefully fix a brush that never worked out of the box. Bringing the cost up to $280. It seems that given all is in working order, that it's a great brush. But if there is an issue you may just be on your own.

Go one this year 2022 from Japan, saved a bit but...Then put it into an empty Iwata Micron metal box - sad I know but that box was empty so. Even sadder is that each time I use an airbrush I find that it is fantastic; so now I do not have a favorite :(

You really can not compare the length of the Creos with a side feed Iwata. Side feeds are always shorter than than the A, B or C cup counterparts.

@wolverine bear. Dont get frustrated. It happens to all of us. Just keep at it. You can get some pretty fine lines out of an eclipse. It just takes some practice. Airbrushing in general is a learning curve. But with taking the crown cap off, thinking the paint down to about 70% or so and lowering air pressure, with practice, you can get hair line lines. Dont give up, keep at it. Youll get it.

Hi Rob, I´m wondering... Im a beginner into airbrushing, and I have to buy a new airbrush for detailing (mainly electric guitar and also helmets), but i have a limited budget (300 USD). I was watching reviews on the Sparmax SP-35, ando also saw that Jbo Airbrushing use it a lot, obtaining very impressive detailing results with it.
My question is, which airbrush do you recommend me? The Sparmax SP-35 o maybe a GSI, maybe the PS 270 or PS 289?
Althought Im a beginner, I dont want to buy a shitty airbrush just to realize 2 years later that I need to buy a new one with better quality. My head is spinning into this 2 brands, which one do you recommend me? I need fine lines, great detail shading, also great gradient colours, good atomization, and the capibility of use thick paints also. Thank you, I had seen a lot of your videos to decide haha. Greetings from Argentina.

If you can get one for 300usd go for the new evolution 2024 it's brilliant if you cannot on that budget definitely go for the creos the 289 is on a 0.3mm which will be a great all rounder for what you need 👍the 270 is on a 0.2mm which has a mac valve to the front another great airbrush for detail just need to get your
Paints dailed in more with that on .but first choice for me is the evolution check out my latest videos

@@dredfxcustompaint Thank you so much Rob, im gonna follow your advice and do an extra effort to buy the 2024 Evolution Cr plus, I just watched your video review with Harder & Steenbeck, and it seems that was made it for me. In fact, the old Evolution was a very good option, but I saw that many professionals had problems with the trigger response. Now that is fixed, im certainly buy it.
