This was so refreshing to watch -as the eldest sister at times being the oldest is so painful and no one validates our experience. We are always held to the highest standard and then rarely get praise or support for the sacrifices we make for our parents and siblings. Even the time we are visibly in pain over life events-I find that people have no patience or willingness to be there for us because they typically haven’t had to before. It’s so heartbreaking. Ahmed was right that finding a “chosen family” Via friends is so essential and healing. I thank god everyday for my two best friends who love me unconditionally whether I’m doing well or failing
The calm in Ahmed's personality Masha'Allah is amazing. I wonder how he does not feel like sharing his opinion over the other person. Maybe he took it from papa jee
I’m desi too, and in therapy working through a lot of the issues that you guys talked about. Learning this quote has changed how I’ve learned to view boundaries: “Boundaries are the distance at which I can love you and me simultaneously.”
I sense Wajeeh is a little like Mama Jee in the sense he sorta tends to interrupt and run away with the conversation. Ahmed on the other hand seems like he is more sensitive and has a higher EQ and has a very mature take on many things. I think he knows himself well (strengths and weaknesses) and focuses on self preservation. He also seems vulnerable and has probably had some sort of emotional trauma from headbutting with mama jee but has also learnt how to deal with it. More of Ahmed on the show please! Or maybe he should have his own podcast!
Bro I feel sorry for Ahmed even his sister says she likes Wajeeh more. Stuff like that really hurts. Siblings and parents should always try to be neutral.
Aiman is still a child. She is doing that cuz the mom acts partial towards Wajeeh. Moms have a huge influence on kids. I am sure Aiman will inherit some of the toxic traits their mom has.
I like how everyone in the family constantly tries to make Ahmed look bad. But the way he deals with it in such a calm way, just trying to listen and smiling makes him the most appealing out of them. And he definitely looks better than wajeeh.
It was so bother instinct when ahmed asked what men ??😂😂 and definitely ahmed loves and is more protective about her. Wajeeh seems more like open brother one can easily put out their thoughts
As a freshman in high school, I would really like to hear your academic stories and how you guys did so well. I would love and appreciate all the advice!
I loved this with just the both of you without Mama Gee this way you can say what you need to say..Stay close to one another and support one another as brothers you need each other and you can learn from one another.. Your sister is so cute and she is lucky to have the both of you..
Wajeeh, you need to listen to what Ahmed was getting at. Before the boundary part you need to ask yourself do I want to leave the content world or do a major shift in your online presence and be ready to know it might not work? And without that you won’t be able to even start. Ahmed left home and focused on his career and has a different life trajectory. Like Ahmed said you can’t have your cake and eat it too and this is exactly what I thought last video with your mom looking at the comments but generally am not a commenting type.
Love your podcast Wajeeh. Don't discontinue it. It really puts a smile on my face every week, it's entertaining and cathartic at the same time. You are doing great. Next episode with Aimen 💯💯💯
I can totally relate to Ahmed as an elder sibling. We have to set boundaries early because we are getting the worst part of the parental experiments and it definitely fades with time and just like him I also express my love by touching n stuff with my siblings which the younger ones don’t really like lol N Wajeh I can relate to your stress and snapping 100% because you have the responsibilities on you, anyone who has to take the biggest share of the responsibilities and especially if you don’t have anyone sharing the burden in this fast world! Wish you best of luck and hope your stresses decrease
Wajeet is all about I am perfect in every way and tried to put down Ahmed in this podcast. I really liked how Ahmed didn't lose his calm. He moved out for his mental peace and better life. I don't think this makes him a bad person and the family should understand that.
The OGs 😊 seen y'all change. Ahmed has definitely calmed down more from the past. He is in his growing and unlearning unhealthy family behaviors phase. His way of affection may be overbearing to some, but he seems like he feels deeply and needed people to communicate his emotions with growing up. When you can't communicate heavy emotions, it's easy to bottle up and explode. Before, it seemed like it was performative love/image from Ahmed before, but now he seems to genuinely care more. He is emotionally maturing. Men are emotional and sensitive. That is a really good thing. It should never been seen as a weakness. Toxic masculinity really creates the idea that it is, but it is not. All humans have emotions. Wajeeh has been authentic and just says what he thinks. He loves to communicate and just be himself. One thing I agree with others is slowing down and calming down. When you have a guest, give them more time to answer. It should be more so a conversation than an interview. Also, agree with others on avoiding comparison at all costs. When discussing things with anyone, don't make it you vs. I. Just get to hear about the guest more as to chiming in more and self-comparing. Listen and respect an opinion without jumping to being defensive. Value other people's opinions without making things a debate. Just some feedback @ wajeeh 💖 Love the podcast ❤ much love and wishing all the success 😊
this is very interesting. I wish I had this 10 years ago when my biys were teenagers. Eye opening and humbling to see how parents effect kids and how this day and age parents cannot be the same way like they use to be. You guys are so much more aware, mature and self aware than most of us parents are.
I am the eldest of 3 sister , my god they take your things without telling you , and then dont care for , dont wash it , & and have the audacity to say “why is your things are in my room , keep your stuff in your own place ” - like they didn’t took it & wear it without telling me + wore it out
Me who went straight to see Ahmed’s insta for the post of that LAAL DUPATTA GIRL! 😭😭 spill it already, we counting on you wajeeh for that next podcast of Ahmed, dk when that’s gonna be but.. LOL!
I used to work at the firm that Suits was filmed in, so I can understand everything Wajeeh was saying about being in Suits etc. Definitely a major accomplishment!
I would really enjoy and appreciate some woman,s advocacy on topics like Asian marriage and standards set for young women, as opposed to for young men. Come on we need someone fighting the women's corner please.
Sorry but am I the only one who thinks Ahmad left coz he was not willing to help out... Most family needs input and he wasn't willing to give and got hate from his family for the same thing. Noone feels close to him, that's not boundaries... Thats just need to runaway
Ahmed is so calm and composed. Just a little personal thought I feel Wajeeh comes out very rude on certain things. I believe if Allah has enabled you and you do something for your parents there is no point bring it up again and again. I feel it kills the whole purpose and goodness. Just my 2 cents. Anyways lots of love for all of you.
Islamically speaking, the man must provide housing, food and clothing for his family (I.e. the basic necessities). If his wife contributes then it’s out of her kindness, but she doesn’t have to. Beyond the necessities no problem to discuss a more equal split of luxuries (vacations etc).
@@neilmenon8943what are you talking about? Those are god' instructions. The same as quran, his teaching still aplicable till this day however society change.
I can see both sides as being part of desi family. Its hard indeed for parents and as well for kids. The main thing we all face is miscommunication between us and our desi parents obviously due to culture differences and languages and a lot other things comes with it. ❤❤ love you guys and your videos specially your Mom she is very strong and lovely lady. I believe if women break down the whole family go down with her. She held it well as we can all see the difference rather she used hard ways but she done a good job❤❤
Sob Story!! Seriously, This is the reality. everyone is trying to make Ahmed a bad person but he is NOT. I can feel the struggles and pain he went through and now in a place to let everything as it is and do not care. he is a real gem and much better than mama g, wajeeh and sister.....Ahmed and papa g are good souls.
One of the most calm episodes so far with our favourite bro duo, Ahmed seems.like the most caring big bro to his siblings mA ❤❤may ALLAH SWT protect you both and keep you united always ameen, wishing you the best for both your futures ❤
I remember one of your prank that you did which was Ahmed got a girl pregnant and I think mama jee pranked Ahmed back with a fake heart attack 😂 That was crazy
In everything that has been happening in Palestine, I've found it difficult to watch anything "normal" since the start of the war. Your show is the only thing I watch and I don't feel guilty or bad.. Thank you. Free Palestine!
Guys ya are so competitive and constantly comparing yourselves to each other. I think that's a weird toxic thing that was pushed onto ya from ya parents. Me and my twin sister stopped competing and it totally changed our relationship I recommend the competition be something u guys delve into
'How to create boundaries?' InshAllah it will happen naturally when you get married, your Mum & Dad will give you some healthy space. It's a natural transition in life and this sort of natural boundary or space given to you as a married couple will not offend them.
@@lecahier I understand each person’s situation could be different; if speaking to them directly but respectfully doesn’t work and their ‘involvement’ is causing harm to your relationship rather than just an irritation, then perhaps live in another city? I hate to suggest that because as parents age adult children have to care for them and even if age is not a factor the bond between Grandparents and grandchildren is a blessing. Ultimately, ‘patience’ is required. There will come a time when they pass away you will miss them very much.
I like Ahmed! He so calm and know how to deal in situations like this! Their mum are way backward mentality and wajeeh I feel he tryna put Ahmed down constantly by talking about himself staying with family. Ahmed did well removing himself from toxic environment.
My advice to parents raising young men: Let your sons leave as soon possible and figure themselves out. But always be there for them to help and advise. By doing so you’re creating individuals with the life skills to lead their own families. The toxic culture of control and molly-coddling is not healthy and does not produce productive members of society. Unfortunately this is all too common South Asian households. Wajeeh should move out, but close by.
I’m a fan of Aiman, no doubt about that . I see a bit of myself In her . Stay the same Aimen , you will grow with time but stay curious and make sure to gave fun .

Ahmed’s level of patience and calmness is unreal. He stays so unbothered. 😂
Love ahmed on that one haha

I need Ahmed’s calmness in my life
I noticed Ahmed doesn’t get triggered - idk how he does that
I think he’s more like Papa
He just done with em lol
He is sensitive, and in older videos he would get triggered, now he’s grown and matured
How loving these brothers especially Ahmed is towards her sister.
