- I currently do almost all of my editing in VR using Immersed so in this video we're looking at some of the pros and cons. If you have some other ones that I missed, leave them in the comments below.

Personally i use this in conjunction with my Noise canceling headphones, i go from having children screaming and running around trying to start fires in my house, to not even being aware of the fire until i smell it. it's great.

YES! Please let us know how it goes! We are constantly improving our app to make it usable and comfortable for everyone, and what I can tell you is we are working VERY hard on getting a variety of keyboard layouts in VR. So my answer is... in the distant future be on the lookout? :)

Very useful info here! Very curious to see how the mixed reality with the Meta quest 3 would be for editing. I very much like being able to see my physical keyboard but would love the utility of the multiple and adjustable monitors
Great vid. I love immersed, but unfortunately I can never get the keyboard mapping to line up despite several calibration attempts. If you guys were to implement the keyboard passthrough window ala Workrooms I'd be back with you in a flash, as the resolution and layout in immersed is excellent.
Passthrough is in our current pipeline! Stay tuned :)

i guess immersed need a specific condition of wifi setting or cpu for runing the desktop pcs:my normal desktop pcs doesn't work immersed:i put a wifi adapter but still immersed doesn't work: my laptop pc works fine immersed:i guess immersed is originally laptop application. what is the condition of wifi or cpu?? i want to use for sound edting & video editing

Oh you know.... magic. 🤫 Just kidding. Our developers created the camera system for us to use! Curious: would you be interested if we made that tech available for the public to use? (No promises... just asking for a friend....)

Currently we built our own camera system in house to do this but we're hoping to release it in the future so anyone can!
I couldn’t get audio in my immersed to work in my meta quest 3

@@Jack-bc9dh perfect. please let me know what kind of software I need to download for that on my Mac, because I'm renting quest 2 today only to test out this feature. if it works I'll be editing there all the time

@@ImmersedXR seems like it's working. rented quest 2 for a day to test it out. seems legit, although this headset has issues with focus of the image in certain areas, also is not very comfortable for long time use. but I'm planning to buy it this week to try editing a full project. also I did experienced some delay from time to time. especially after you make screens bigger. is there a way to use only cable connection? (not a wireless one)

What app are you using to stream to your headset? Also is there any lag?
The program is called Immersed. We have both a VR app and a desktop app to connect both devices over Wi-Fi or wired connection.

really need keyboard Passthrough! also do you have plans to support chinese version? I already recommended 5 of my chinese friends to try immersedvr, they all love it!

is it possible using non vr pc and quest 2 to run immersed?
Immersed works for PC, MAC, and Linux. From a headset standpoint you can use Quest 1, Quest 2, and the HTC Vive Pro.
Is there an edit app similar to iMovie that you do not need a computer for?

my eyes get so tired while using immersed , I have meta quest 3 , there is alot of screen glare , and there is no comparison on having a virtual monitor , no matter if the monitor is 1080p , I dont know if it is me but I can use my mac for hours with no problem , but when I try to work in vr, I just can't .
Do you have any suggestions?
Have we tried adjusting your screen brightness in Immersed or the overall brightness for the headset? If you’re new to working in VR, we recommend gradually working up your time.
@@ImmersedXR I’m also having issues with the virtual monitors , when I use 3 monitors the monitor 2 mimics the 3rd one and some times it’s resolution is capped
@@ImmersedXR also setting my main monitor to 4k does not make it look like 4k , the icons just get smaller
