Regardless if the Stars won the cup or not, that OT goal I could tell meant a lot more to Duchene on a personal level. I mean lots of Avs fans still hate him to this day for wanting to leave the team all those years ago and since he kinda struggled a bit during the playoffs due to him not playing on the same line he’s used to, damn that series ending goal in Ball Arena must’ve felt good.

Even the home crowd was cheering when he scored.
