People think that they're just soft pillows but they're really not. Same with some leg pads as well. I had a pair of Bauer pads that also had a hard composite material running the length and my teammates hated them because if they rushed the net during practice like our coach had them do sometimes, they would run into my pads and they always said it felt like being kicked in the legs when they hit them

I’m a centermen at a high level let. Me tell you when your goalie is frustrated you know you will be dragged in somehow! I’m so frustrated that my team got nocked out in round 3 of the playoffs we did so good that season I scored 39 goals in the regular season and 17 in the playoffs! One a dude pocked our goalie’s glove when it was covered and my teammate who is a defender dropped the gloves and it was a pretty good scrap I loved watching it! LOL! I understand frustration in that game when it actually means a lot at such a high level!

You can all say Edwards is a homer all you want but the pasta clip was 100000000% not intentional. His legs were taken out while he was literally on route to the net & the Tuukka Rask getting literally punched was intentional. Just because he’s a homer a lot of the time doesn’t mean he isn’t right. Also everyone says edwards is a homer but when I have to watch not on NESN every single commentator is a homer so get over it 😂

@14:30 to some extent that guy knew the goaltender was out and nearby. He reaches his stick out to try and poke the puck forward out of reach of the goalie's stick, he is trying to make a play.
