Fazioli Greatest Piano Ever Made

  • Fazioli pianos are considered by many to be the finest pianos made today. Signor Fazioli and his small team make around one hundred pianos each year. Such limited production ensures that each instrument receives the highest level of care and attention from the start of its production until it finally leaves the factory. No mass production techniques are used at the Fazioli factory which is why each and every Fazioli has a unique personality.

    A piano is for each one of us to love, not a matter of brand name, but of personal taste. Comparing them is none sense. Hamburg Steinways are different to New York Steinways and neither one is better, just appealing to different tastes. I have played Bosendorfers, Faziolis and my personal choice and one I have at home is a Hamburg Steinway D from 1967, nothing comes close for me.

    Fazioli has something that other piano doesn't have. it gives to me some indescribable feelings

  • @leonmaliniak
    @leonmaliniak 6 лет назад +24

    Here's my two cents;
    The biggest reps are the Steinway and the Bosendorfer and of course they are both great pianos.
    However, I have often noticed repeatedly, with different performers and different models that even with my favorite pianist Horowitz playing, and as rich and clear as it is generally, the Steinway became very " boomy ' and the notes got quite muddled up, especially in the left hand, during some of the more FORTE sections to the point where you could hardly distinguish the individual notes.
    The Bosendorfer has a great rich sound but it is very very " BASSEY " in general compared to all other pianos and that also causes some distortion and " muddling " of the sound in some of the aggressive passages.
    As for the FAZIOLI, I must admit that I had barely heard about it until only recently when I listened to some Internet wonder playing and without even knowing which piano he was playing I was instantly aware that this was the CLEAREST, cleanest and most beautiful piano sounds I had ever heard and this was obvious throughout the entire span of the keyboard and remained so even during the FORTE sections.
    And now I have heard more and more of them and they all had the same consistently clear and rich sound throughout all the octaves.
    Therefore I have to agree that the FAZIOLI is the best sounding of all the great pianos and people should not let themselves be influenced by the history and politics of this discussion

    I'm a virtuoso jazz pianist. For cats like me, the Fazioli is unmatched in making the connection between the music in my head and the music that comes out of the instrument. I just play better ideas on a Fazioli. Infortunately since I'm a professional musician, I'll never be able to afford to play one more than a few more times in my lifetime. I would imagine that the majority of folks who own one do not play at all.

    "To each his own"... The only way one could choose a piano for one's individual taste would be to brought into a piano hall blindfolded , sat down in front of "the top 5" piano's and be allowed to play each one...while the blind fold still remaining on , make a choice as to which had the best "feel" , "soul" ect. .....even then the choice would have a unique outcome . I prefer a Steinway B , yet can only afford a Yamaha at this point , Bosendorfer did not impress me after playing it , I have not had the opportunity to play the Fazoli.I still believe Yamaha offers the best quality in their price range. The same can be said for Steinway's. Would love to sit down in front of a Fazoli...

    I can tell that the Fazioli definitely has a more clear high end. Overall, when many notes are sounding at the same time and allowed to continue, there are fewer undesirable overtones with this brand. Sure hope I can hear one in person sometime. At least my sound system is fine enough to sound realistic. Baldwin is doing some fine pieces as well, I heard one in the Saenger theater in Pensacola and it had a warm, clear sound.

    I'm a piano technician and had a customer swap the Steinway B they had for one of these and I can tell you the Steinway had a real "soul" to it. Not that the Fazioli was clearly inferior but somehow rather sterile sounding by comparison. Sadly though, the lady in the house who was supposed to be playing soon gave it up so my guess is that it's still there only as an ultra expensive yet idle furniture piece.

      In my neck of the woods, we don't have all that many excellent grands. There are a couple of Steinways - a D & a B that I tune. I do the D at least once a month. But, there's a Petrof Passat here as well, which IMHO eats the both of them. But, that having been said, there's also a 7 foot Yamaha grand here that is an absolute delight to play on & the tone is beautiful

    Alot of people say that Steinway is better, but alot of people that own a Steinway haven't played a Fazioli. I would prefer the Fazioli because it came from a family owned company, it is hand made to prefection! and I think they have the perfect balance between low bass and high treble. (I think Fazioli F308 is more expensive than the Steinway which would be the piano to even change the awesomeness of the F308)

    S@S , Bechstein, Boesendorfer (an old one, not Yamaha B badged with B logo). Then nothing. Then some European makes incl Fazioli. Then all those Chinese Yamahas and the rest.

      Nonsense. The new Bosendorfers are fantastic instruments built in Vienna as they've always been. They are NOT Yamahas. Andras Schiff praises the brand new 280VC as the best Bosendorfer ever. And I think very highly of the premium line Yamahas. Those who think that all Yamahas are the same or their best pianos, the CF series are lesser to any other are very ignorant of what Yamaha has done with their premium line of pianos.

      Yep. Your liked videos include “pretty girl undresses” and “best tits ever”.
      What the fuck are you doing here? Do you even like piano at all or are you a just here to leave unsolicited creepy comments?
