Wenge and maple veneered desk making

- I shot this video when I still had hair and there was no war in my country. Decided to share. Happy viewing and thank you.
Such is the table turned out. maple legs, and table top and bedside table made of maple and wenge veneered blockboard, full extension guides with door closer. The veneer was glued on contact glue "Nairit". Covering - acrylic varnish. I don’t know what else to add;) Ask if you haven’t told anything

Great work! What kind of glue do use for the veneer that you don't need any clamps oder Press?
thank you very much🤗This is a neoprene contact adhesive, apply to both surfaces, allow to dry slightly and then press and rub in thoroughly.
There's also a method that involves just wood glue and an iron. I've used it myself and it's super simple. Have only done a speaker box and stand with it though so I'm not sure how easy it is on larger surfaces, but I'm assuming it works too.
Does anyone know what he uses for finishing the veneer? I’ve never seen whatever that block was that he smeared onto the veneer looks super cool.
I think this is a water base varnish..
