I was a cabinet maker and antique furniture restorer for nearly 40 years. The restoration work was 100% handwork, but even the furniture making was nearly all hand made. I wanted to make one or two suggestions about techniques, but only if you allow me. I really appreciated how you kept the woods their natural colour. Thank you more! I am pursuing this goal in order to somehow preserve the love for this craft and show beginners that you don’t need a lot of expensive tools to make some object out of wood. I grew up in the USSR (now in Ukraine) and here this profession was synonymous with a loser - here all labor professions were so valued. but I didn’t like it, and it went on and on and I really want to restore justice and be proud of my profession!
