  • DIY small cabinet in walnut and maple. Only with hand tools. this video was filmed about 2 years ago and was on the old channel, who still remembers it :) Finishing as always tung oil and beeswax. It seemed in the end that the body was a bit thick, but it seemed painful to remove the thickness from the maple with a planer.

    As a fine furniture maker who absolutely hates taking the time to try and record myself, i want to extend my gratitude for creating this content so everyone can admire the craft... because it's so much less time consuming to just make a piece without the video set-up and editing. Thank you. Beautiful work

    Hey George, I found your channel a few weeks ago and I really love it! This was a great video! In the description of this video, you said this was on your old RUclips channel. Can I ask why you got rid of an old RUclips channel and started this one?

    • @gr_woodworking
      @gr_woodworking  Год назад +1

      Hi Gary! There were a lot of videos and 10K subscribers on the old channel, and we ran it for 3 years and came out with an income of $ 20 per month for two with a partner! The channel developed poorly due to the fact that there were many different topics on it - working with wood, stone, clay and leather, and RUclips did not know who to recommend it to ... Therefore, in the summer I decided to start a new channel in only one topic - now the development is better. Such is the story

    • @garynelles
      @garynelles Год назад

      @@gr_woodworking I think this is happening to my channel also. About a month after I started my channel 2 years ago I posted one non-woodworking video and it ended up getting a ton of views in a very short period. I think that caused the algorithm to set my channel up a certain way that can’t be undone. I’ve been thinking for a few months that I need to start from scratch with a new channel because you’re not the only one who has told me the same thing.
