- Learn all about how to make money selling tickets online by selling mobile transfer tickets! Ticketmaster isn't the only place in town for you to sell those tickets, as Stubhub, SeatGeek, Tick Pick and others are all allowing you to sell those mobile tickets even when Ticketmaster won't let you.
As long as you are able to create mobile screenshots of your tickets, or the ticket transfer feature is enabled on your tickets in Ticketmaster, you'll be able to sell these tickets on various other platforms.
Note that rotating/dynamic barcode tickets are not eligible for screenshots. If your ticket barcodes are rotating, you can only sell the tickets as mobile transfer.

Ahh love your your energy, it's super contagious. This makes us miss going to games and live events!! Glad we came across your channel from Colin & Samir's comment section, we love connecting with other likeminded creators that are carving their lane on RUclips- keep up the great work 💛😁
Love everything those guys put together, it’s very inspiring! Much thanks as well for the kind words 😍
Great video, used it to sell my tickets last night. Appreciate it.
Here in NY state we have a law that the original seller must allow full transferability by mobile of hard ticket options. However other states no not follow this and try to limit the ability to resell. The option that you did not offer is maybe not the best but in a pinch will work it involves burning using a ticket to get the rest of the group in. Sometimes you can walk right up to the ticket takers show your tickets then keep the last one to resell outside the event rather than using it to get the rest of your customers in. If there is a will there is a way.
That’s a pretty good option tbh! I’ll eventually get to videos talking about selling will call tickets, but I like the idea of having that extra seat to be able to walk in the party and then figuring out how to move that last one in a pinch when it’s mobile only. If you’re not local though then it can be a bit more problematic.
Thanks this was definitely helpful!!
Quick video with Great info
Always happy to help!
Thanks! Great info. Glad I watched this.
Glad to hear it!
I do have a question, I have tickets from ticketmaster and they aren’t transferable. However I don’t think the qr code is a moving one because it doesn’t change, will a screenshot work for the resell than?
My tickets on tixr say I can’t transfer is there anyways around that ?
What if you have a physical ticket ? And would like to list on seat geek or any of these sites ?
I can't list Yankee tickets on stubhub with a transfer delivery though
i have an event with rotating tickets that other people are listing. how are they doing this??
I did your steps and i can screenshot my tickets however when I do I get a message from ticketmaster saying 'Screenshots wont get you in. To save your tickets transfer them to google pay. Or to save your tickets transfer them to friends' ...if i screenshot and turn it in to a pdf will that be ok and good?
When I get to the mobile transfer part of Tickpick it asks for a transfer url. What is that, where do I find that? First time selling tickets so I am confused.
Hi I have tickets for alabama Texas A&M that are transferable and are Apple wallet tickets. When I go to list them it says I need a bar code ticket. Does this mean that they are unlistable?
This would mean that the event is integrated with the ticket resale platform. If you are listing these tickets, you’ll just need to enter in the barcodes when listing the seats directly off the ticket. It’s usually an alphanumeric code, can range up to 16 digits at times. Should either be on the bottom of the barcode or to the side of the ticket. Can message me on IG or Twitter if you want a bit more detail. @thumbsuprun
how does the money transfer work do I put my bank and or debit card info through the app nd the money gets transferred through there??
Thanks for all the information, you are the best 👌
😁
Can I sell my tickets on the ballpark app? How would I get the money ?
Is there a way through these apps to sell to a specific buyer
Exactly what I wanted to know!
Woohoo! Let me know if you got any other questions

What would you say is the platform you’ve had the most success with? I have two tickets to see Dave Chapelle at the Hollywood bowl and have had them up on eBay and they’re not selling any events coming up on April 28. Any suggestions on how to quickly sell them?
eBay I haven’t found much success with lately. I find I get good traction with some of the more standard sites - Stubhub, vivid seats, SeatGeek, tickpick
Pls tell us how to upgrade tickets . Just bought 2 tickets now I want to seat closer like front row . What do I do ? Wait till I go to event and ask ?
It depends where you purchased your tickets from. If purchased from Ticketmaster (not Ticketmaster resale), you’ll need to contact them and see if they will be able to process the upgrade for you. If you purchased resale tickets, then unfortunately you won’t be able to upgrade them directly - you’d need to sell the current tickets you have and then go out and purchase new tickets in a different row. Can reach out to me on IG/Twitter if you want some more info! @thumbsuprun
Legal question: if I live in a country were reselling tickets is illegal but I buy a ticket for a comcert in a country where reselling is legal whose country's law applies to me?
A very interesting question. I’m no lawyer, but generally the rules of where the event takes place are what I normally consider when buying and selling tickets.
Are you allowed to sell on tickpick if your under 18?
Hello, am I able to sell my tickets for higher value than face value on ticket master?
It depends on the event. Some promoters will not allow tickets to be resold for more than face value on Ticketmaster. If you’d like to sell it for more, you need to look for a different website to sell tickets on so you can choose your own price
Thx!!! You answered my VividSeat question. 👍
Excellent 🙌🏽
What if a digital ticket is sold 6 months out from the event? How long do you typically wait to get paid? What if the buyer purchases 6 months in advance, then changes their mind the week before, is there anyway I could end up with the ticket again at the last minute?
When selling tickets through an exchange platform, all sales are generally final, meaning the seller will be paid out for their tickets sold once the event is complete, regardless of whether the buyer has a change of heart down the line
I’m more lost now than I was when I started watching
😂🤣😂
Hi maybe you can help me. I sold 2 tickets yesterday on Ticketmaster. I set up my direct deposit to get paid. Ticketmaster shows to boxes saying to verify your checking account deposit a small amount less than $1. I went to the bank & made 2 separate deposits: 1 deposit was for .99 the 2nd deposit was for .98 cents. So I typed in 1# box .$099 & in the 2nd box I typed $0.98 cents. It will not knowledge it. I bought my tickets on Ticketmaster with a credit card. I am using a laptop. So how am I gonna get paid? Anyone do you have any answers PLEASE
After setting up your direct deposit, you’re supposed to wait for Ticketmaster to send you 2 small amount transactions, not you depositing them. They will send you two small transactions to test the direct deposit info. It takes about 3-5 days usually before you see the amounts get deposited. Those are the amounts you’re supposed to confirm with them, not the ones you put in 😬 when did you set up the direct deposit info? Give it a couple of days and you should see the amounts from Ticketmaster make their way into your bank account
Thank you so much. I thought I was going crazy! I was ready to go to the bank again and redeposit money over $1.00 on 2 different days!! I hope what your saying works out for me. It"s been approx 24hrs since my tickets were sold. I stay in touch
Let me know! Give it a few days and you’ll see the deposits come in from TM. Reminder that you won’t get paid until after the event
hey, do you know how long does the payout for vivid seats takes? I sold some tickets last month and still did not receive my payment
It’ll generally be about 1-2 weeks after the event takes place. What was your event date for the tickets you sold?
@@thumbsuprun October 16th, but ok thanks! I didn’t know it was after the event
It’s annoying but that’s how a lot of exchanges run their sales these days. It’ll hopefully change back to pay on delivery but it’ll be a while before that happens again
@@thumbsuprun yes hopefully, it’s my first time selling on there so I was a little worried… thanks a lot!!
No problem! Reach out if you ever have more questions 😁
Can you talk about pricing for your tickets? Maybe thats too personal but I am looking for tips on pricing reasonably for market standards and when is the best time to lower ticket prices
A great idea! I’ll try and put something together in general terms as there are a few strategies for this, stay tuned!
If i have tickets that i bought in seat geeks can i sell them on ticketmaster?
Following
Selling T20 mobile tickets on stub hub is safe?
What I don’t understand, is the seats I have for a concert on ticket master say they are ineligible for resale, but there are all kinds of tickets available to buy from a reseller at the same concert, even the same row I have. How’s that possible?
An interesting problem! What event are you trying to list your tickets for? On occasion, you could be running into the issue if you had purchased a specific seat type such as VIP while seats directly beside yours may have been standard admission or official platinum seating. Other times you may have a will-call delivery option so it may not be possible to list and sell the ticket through Ticketmaster resale. Feel free to reach out with more info and we can try to work through the problem
@@thumbsuprun thanks for the reply, so I just looked on there and they are available for resale now. On ticket master, I assume they just wanted to have the them open to the public first idk.
It’s normally standard for Ticketmaster to wait for the general sale first since they would much rather sell all their box office listings first before opening up resale tickets 😁
How do I transfer my RAMS tickets from my wallet to someone else? My wallet keeps saying error when I try to make the transfer.
I find sharing tickets through a wallet is a lot more difficult that it should be. If you have access to your Ticketmaster account where your rams tickets are held, it will be much easier to transfer them through there. Give it a try and let me know
@@thumbsuprun ok. I’ll give it a shot.
Diamond, Did you figure it out! If yes, please share. Thanks!
What type of tickets are easier to resell single or group tickets
Depends on the event, but in general pairs are normally the fastest to move. Singles definitely sell though as well as bigger group numbers also
Tymv for this information. I had purchased tickets but will not be able to make the concert. My mobile tickets were not available for resale, but they could be transferred. I was able to make a listing on stubhub. Hopefully they sell.
Best of luck!!
One caveat to stubhub is they charge service fees. So if I were to sell my tickets at cost (just enough to make back what I paid), the buyer of my tickets are going to pay my price PLUS stubhubs own service fees which makes my tickets a lot more expensive for the buyer. I would need to undercut myself (thus losing money on the tickets) to make them somewhat affordable to the buyer. I'm worried the price will be too high and they won't sell if I don't charge less. 😩
It really depends on how much you’re looking to recover/sell for, while also trying to keep your price in line with what others have listed their tickets for as well. Sometimes an event may be very popular and so prices will be quite high for resale tickets (meaning you could list your seats at cost + small additional charge to cover your fees), but you’re not wrong in that the buyer will need to pay for their own Stubhub service charges as well. It’s not a great system for that unfortunately if you’re looking to sell them back at your own cost 😢
I sold tickets on vivid seats but they arent Mobile transfer what do you think is going to happen?
Contact their support team and see if your delivery method is acceptable. They will generally try to work with you to make sure your tickets get to the final buyer 😁
SeatGeek system does not support rotated barcodes
Will one website give you more money (less fees) than another? Thanks for your video! Very helpful!
Most sites will charge around 10% fees to sell your tickets based on your list price. Ticketmaster on occasion will run promotions to reduce fees temporarily on specific events, but generally speaking most sites are all around the same level
What about when you don't have the electronic tickets transfered to you so you can't sell them yet? Someone bought 6 Odesza tickets for $1500 and I need to sell them all but they arrive 2 days before the concert.
As long as you’ll have the tickets in time to deliver before the event (usually 48 hours before) then it shouldn’t be an issue listing and selling the tickets even if you cannot transfer them right now. Just make sure you set your in hand date to 2 days before the event takes place. When the tickets are transferred to you, you can then transfer them to your final buyer directly.
How about in Gametime? Can you resale tickets there?
You certainly can resell your tickets on Gametime!
I accidentally bought baseball tickets for the wrong date and it’s non refundable. Looking into getting them sold. Any tips on getting them sold so my money doesn’t go to waste?
Take a look at listing through Stubhub - they are normally the official resale partner of the MLB so all tickets are barcode integrated. Would definitely be the easiest way to move them. Just need to enter the barcodes and they’ll be instant delivery 👍🏽
@@thumbsuprun thanks for the quick response my man! I appreciate ya
@@thumbsuprun is it possible to list on multiple sites or just exclusively one?
Technically you could list on multiple sites at once, but then you run the risk of the tickets selling twice. In that situation you could be hit with penalties for not being able to fulfill the order. If you watch your listings very closely then you can get away with it, but it can be a very expensive mistake if you don’t pay attention
I bought two concert tickets on vivid seats. I only have them on my phone in my Apple wallet. How can I sell one of these tickets?
Were they sent to you as mobile delivery tickets via Ticketmaster/SeatGeek? Or are they actually just screenshots? If they were delivered through the primary point of sale (ie ticketmaster) you should be able to use the transfer feature in your Ticketmaster account to be able to transfer and sell the seats. Same would apply if the tickets are from SeatGeek or AXS as well
@@thumbsuprun thanks for the explanation. They are on the Wells Fargo Center website so I found the transfer button there. Your videos were entertaining and very helpful!
Ah perfect! And glad you found them helpful 😁
Do you use lysted?
did you ever use lysted? if so, was it legit?
How do I sell a ticket to someone I know in person?
Easiest way is to collect the cash or get paid first, and then complete the ticket transfer to the buyer. If the tickets are mobile delivery you should be able to transfer them over. Just make sure there isn’t a delivery delay on your seats so you can actually finish the transfer in person
how do I know if there's a delivery delay before purchasing the tickets in the first place?@@thumbsuprun
Fire video! Would like to talk
Hit me up on IG! @thumbsuprun
I don't want to make any money
I just want my money back.
I want to sell
Do I need to add my banking info ?
Yes or no
Yes. Without it they cannot pay you out once the tickets sell
@@thumbsuprun thanks 👍
Is it legal to buy a lot of tickets and sell them like 3x more? I want to buy blackpink tickets because they sell really fast
In general yes. It depends on your state/province/country, but generally speaking there is nothing against doing so for the most part
@@thumbsuprun thx
no one should be able to resell for more than what they paid it for. sorry not sorry
I didn't understand anything..Energy is great but wasn't informative
