This is the end of an era for WGN Sports after 72 seasons, as there will there not be more Cubs, White Sox, Blackhawks and Bulls airing on WGN-TV, and WGN America did this 5 years earlier when it happened. And what a final farewell for WGN Sports Telecasts after 72 seasons, as there are not more to come!!
All WGN Sports will have left is its sportscasters and reporters since the rest of its staff will be out of a job. There will also be no more Blackhawks, Bulls and White Sox airing on WGN-TV since they signed exclusive contracts with NBC Sports Chicago.

Not only was it end of the cubs on WGN, but really the beginning of the end cubs window.
Hasn't been the same since WHN stopped carrying the games on radio Nd TV
