I don't know a thing about baseball, and this is the first time I've encountered Mr. Harry Caray - but for some reason I love this man. He's obviously spent a LOT of time hearing his voice greatly amplified. His enunciation is incredible - I rely a bit on lip-reading, so they way he speaks is like having captions on and in bold. He seems like the sort of guy who, had he lived to see 2020, could make me feel alright about how the year has gone.

    I wanted to meet him.
    But I was too late.
The food was great however! The steak 🥩 was 2 inches thick. The biggest steak 🥩 I ever saw on a plate!
I thought to myself Chicago people like to live big. This is the big city and the steaks are big, too. I’m from a smaller city.
So I highly recommend his restaurant! The food and atmosphere were fantastic but he wasn’t around anymore so that was my only regret.
    God Bless Harry Carey!

First game back same seat next to his held steve stone, we did the stretch without him, but wanted to do it good, i remember - and that last one without him was the best and we all cried knowing its over. And we never needed a reward to tell us the joy we felt with eacother

From a phillies fan lucky enough to hear Harry Kalas call the world series in 2008, you just wish so hard that Harry Caray coulda somehow been around to call the Cubs this year. If you believe in heaven you bet the man was looking down, cheering his brains out!

Never missed a game, never missed an inning. Thats a good, old-fashion work ethic.

As a kid listening to Bob and Tom skits on the radio, the impersonations of Harry Carry were always smile inducing. "HEY!!!......."

Boy the time when people came out without intro music... Paul's intro music for guests changed the whole feel of the show.

God I miss Harry. He made those games when the Cubs were 20 games out just as exciting as when they were in first..
