Which Chris Farley moment broke YOU? Let us know below, and check out our video of the Top 20 SNL Sketches That Broke the Whole Cast - ruclips.net/video/JN9dElgJnHg/видео.html
He broke Dennis Miller on his very first appearance when he showed his ass portraying Tom Arnold, prompting Miller to break character and say I just saw the new guys ass!
You know, and I would have to think that most everyone but the Dullest Knife in the Drawer would agree, Farley's humor mostly goes over my head. I don't like this kind of humor that you have to think about and everything. Anyone ?
Farley was an absolute legend. He was a master of physical comedy and he never failed to make us laugh. There’s been so many movies we could only imagine watching him act in. He’s now living in a van down by the river up in Heaven. RIP Chris ❤
So many years later and my friends and I still cant help but reference the Van down by the river skit any time someone uses the words Van or River. It never fails one of us will pipe up with some variation of it depending on which word is said or what context its used. True legend.
You've got to include Chris Farley in a dance off with Patrick Swayze! Even Mike Myers is busting up in laughter! One of the Chris Farley best! Then his interview with Paul McCartney too! And the movie "Tommy Boy".
"Tommy Boy" is actually underrated. Sure it's a super funny comedy, and just a little bit of a drama, but the director/actors/writers/everybody involved really did the drama part right too. 10 out of ten, will be watching again.
SNL should hire you to voice over all episodes, explaining every little thing to the audience, so we can all understand what is funny and why. That would make the show so much better. Like your videos,. So good. How does anyone even watch SNL without you?
Chris Farley was the first celebrity whose passing actually upset me. I was young and didn’t even truly appreciate HOW funny he really was. An absolute legend
Chris Farley was the first celebrity whose passing actually pissed me off. Yeah, I know it's selfish, but the guy was an absolute comedic legend, and instantly knew that I would be deprived of all of the hysterical joy that should have been coming for the next many years. I love the guy, but 26 years later I'm still pissed!
I remember during the “Chris Farley Show” skit with Sir Paul McCartney he had Sir Paul almost cracking during the interview. The part that got me was when Chris asks Paul if he remembers when he was with The Beatles, to which Paul, while chuckling says “yeah, sure” Chris, then says “That’s awesome!” in a way that came across as a shy/nervous boy meeting one of his heroes. It was funny, sweet and just made me a fan of his even more. But more importantly, it was awesome! 😂 R.I.P. Chris Farley!
The spaceship sketch when his pants fell down as he ran up the ramp and his bare ass was exposed. You can see the reaction of Deion Sanders and Jay Mohr. The whole thing was gold.
Matt Foley making this list 3 times is no accident. Thank you to Bob Odenkirk for writing my favorite SNL skit of all time, and thank you to Chris for making me laugh until my stomach hurts.
Someone once said about a shooting star; it passes quickly, but while it's here it just lights up the whole sky - it's the most beautiful thing you'd ever want to see. So beautiful that the other stars stop and watch. That's how I'd describe Chris Farley's life.
This is when SNL was SNL. It's so sad Farley died so young. He always had so much energy I was sure he was going to stroke out at anytime. He will always be missed. RIP
Thank you for the update, MsMojo..!! There was also an episode called 'Rookie Cop' and quite a lot of cast members were (fake) vomiting on the screen. I remember Chris Farley was spinning a newspaper before vomiting, and that was absolutely hilarious. Rest in peace, Chris Farley. :(
Chris' character of Matt Foley as the motivational speaker who lives in a van down by the river is one of my most memorable SNL skits of ALL time! The 2nd funniest for me would be the one where Chris and Swayze are doing a Chippendale's dancer audition. CLASSIC! and hilarious!
The one thing that the modern episodes of SNL were severely lacking would definitely have to be the slapstick, and nobody delivered it perfectly the same way as Chris Farley. May he rest forever in peace...
@@MsMojo It's also the sketch that writer Bob Odenkirk absolutely *hated* as (in his opinion) it was nothing more than a fat joke. "Writers I knew and respected defended this sketch because it had a funnyish idea buried in it: the Chippendales judges prefer Swayze's dancing over Chris's but can't put a finger on why," Odenkirk wrote in his memoir. "But that idea is not what produced the gales of cackling (and gasps) from the live audience. Chris flopping his overstuffed body around did that. I feel like I can see it on his face in the moment when he rips his shirt off. Shame and laughter are synthesized in the worst way. F**k that sketch."
I never get tired of watching Chris Farley's physical comedy. I swear it gets funnier every time I see an old skit. His Comedy genius is unparalleled. I think his legend will only grow with time.
The last skit was the best - but, YOU ALL CHOPPED IT UP to the point of destroying the continuity of the humor building in the moments unseen. Should have bypassed the one not as good - and the best would have benefited.
there was this guy at my church who did a great Matt Foley impersonation...big guy too, so he dressed like him and would adjust his pants like him, etc. He would do it when we had talent shows and stuff, always cracked everybody up! I think my mom has a couple of them on home video.
Chris Farley interviewing Paul McCartney for the Chris Farley Show was one of my favorites. Do you remember when you were with the Beatles? Also, the dance competition with Patrick Swayze was unforgettable.
50 Y/O here. Same age as SNL, long time fan. Chris was the most naturally gifted cast member/comedian ever! That's a fact. He stole EVERY scene he was in. Watching Chris is a prescription for abdominal pain.
Farley was an absolute legend. He was a master of physical comedy and he never failed to make us laugh. There’s been so many movies we could only imagine watching him act in. He’s now living in a van down by the river up in Heaven. RIP Chris
Farley as General Norman Schwarzkopf on weekend update ..when he started the "I want Holyfield" Rant, Dennis miller held back the laugh but had a huge grin the whole time
There was a Sketch of Farley and Sandler has Steroid taking weightlifters that have a call in show on a local cable tv access channel called "How Much Ya Bench" and Emilio Estevez who was the Host that Week was in the sketch too,and his brother Charlie Sheen calls into their show!, it's Freaking Hilarious!!!,Classic!!!
Chris was always the absolute BEST and he was just being himself. He was well known to have frequently stated that his style of humor was primarily to make his Dad laugh who he knew would be watching and a lot of what he came up with was completely natural normal behavior he did around his family and friends that just happened to be epic and always chokingly hilarious.

notice how it's only ever sandler who cracks up. totally unprofessional and couldn't act to save his life
Sandler is as bad as Jimmy Fallon when it comes to breaking character😆
@@busterbluesun both of them would break out laughing when they're supposed to be acting. neither of them were funny or could act
Adam Sandler 1975 would’ve been 9 yo
He broke Dennis Miller on his very first appearance when he showed his ass portraying Tom Arnold, prompting Miller to break character and say I just saw the new guys ass!
So happy to have Chris Farley's humor explained to me, I never quite got it before.
Yes, it can be very complex…
😂
I know. We're all so stupid.
You know, and I would have to think that most everyone but the Dullest Knife in the Drawer would agree, Farley's humor mostly goes over my head. I don't like this kind of humor that you have to think about and everything. Anyone ?
what?
Commentary is pointless.
Yup ruined the video
100% ruined the entire video. And they talk to their audience like they're children by pointing out the obvious. That's WatchMojo for you.
What a disaster
Terrible, wrong, and pointless :P
AGREED....she does that in all her videos and it ruins all of them.
She must've worked with children in her previous job

I wish Chris was here to scream at the narrator of this video, why is she talking over him, annoying.
Wished there was no commentary, just the sketches speaks for themselves.
Chris Farley was one of a kind. A true comedic legend in his short time with us on this Earth.
RIP Chris Farley 😢🕊️🌹🙏🏼.
He will forever be missed!!!
Just show the skits. Why do you need to narrate ?
Damn I was thinking the same thing! Lol 😂 I mean WTF?
Exactly! Way too much annoying commentary!!!
Every one of their videos are like that. Absolute rubbish.
They would get a copyright strike.
Always - useless...want to watch the vids....but she just wants to hear her herself talk apparently. Useless...
Narration is unbearable.
It’s the worst
The narrator ruins it
There’s no need for the narration.
100%. Totally unnecessary.
Ms.Mojo stop with the commentary

YES his dance off was hilarious!!!
Kevin Nealon and Jan Hooks stayed completely stone faced during that sketch. I have no idea how.
Chris Farley always manages to put a smile on my face whenever I'm in a bad mood.

This would be 100% better if the commentator would shut up for a few seconds so we could enjoy the skits.
Chris Farley was the first celebrity whose passing actually upset me. I was young and didn’t even truly appreciate HOW funny he really was.
An absolute legend
Not the first to upset me but definitely one where I remember exactly where I was and what I was doing when I found out.
Same here it was the first death other than princess Di that affected me
Only 27.
@heru-deshet359 who was only 27? Cuz Farley was 33 - same as when Belushi died, 33.

Left us 26 years ago today December 18, 1997. RIP Chris Farley
Commentary ruined it.
Yep no need for it at all
Most RUclips videos put out today are done by people that literally just want to hear the sound of their own voice.
When doesn't it? Like to tell us what's funny like.
Another irreplaceable, priceless Legend gone too soon. Kids these days have no clue what they’re missing out on. So much talent gone. Heartbreaking…
Though what is ironic is that most people are looking at living in a van down by the river . Like luxury fans.
Ditto for Phil Hartman.
My favorite skit was of Patrick Swayze and Chris Farley auditioning for the Chippendales. Farley was amazing.
this really didn't need the narration. totally nukes the comedy
I remember during the “Chris Farley Show” skit with Sir Paul McCartney he had Sir Paul almost cracking during the interview. The spaceship sketch when his pants fell down as he ran up the ramp and his bare ass was exposed. You can see the reaction of Deion Sanders and Jay Mohr. The whole thing was gold.
Chris Farley was a gem
Chris just had that quality that you just could not help but laugh at everything he did. He was just naturally funny. I really miss Norm McDonald too.
Norm's Burt Reynolds on SNL's Jeopardy 😂😂😂
Matt Foley making this list 3 times is no accident. Thank you to Bob Odenkirk for writing my favorite SNL skit of all time, and thank you to Chris for making me laugh until my stomach hurts.
10 Clips that don't require set-ups.
Chris made me laugh ridiculously and uncontrollably everything I saw him acting. A true legend sadly gone too soon. Big up Sir Farley!!!
Be funnier if you didn't talk over the scenes
Chris Farley and Patrick Swayze auditioning for the Chippendales was my all time favorite. 😅

I love that saying ❤
At least it wasn't a grizzly
Thnk you for the constant narration of everything we saw
Commentary ruins this!.
holy crap, i don't think it needed all the narration
Thanks Mojo, for explaining every 2 seconds why this is funny.
Thank you so much for saying exactly whats about to happen immediatly before it does. I wouldnt be able to figure anything out without you.
You know what tops talented, ultra-professional, flawless comedy? Dry, meaningless, chatter in the background.
I agree narration is not necessary
Chris Farley was just the best!!! Was expecting Chippendales though.
We will never have another legendary comedian on the same level as Chris Farley!
Never ever ever...
I feel honored to have watched the first Matt Foley appearance live.
I'm also honored to make shit up online.
wow how sad are you??? @@jonathandevereaux298
To be in that room... "rolling doobies' would have made me fall out my chair!
Matt Foley is (was?) a Catholic priest at Marquette University who Farley really liked. Then used his name.
Wow, thanks for explaining the skits rather than just showing them. I wouldn’t have been able to understand them without your commentary.

Just show the clips without the narration.
I love she keeps us updated on the skit and what’s going on. Since skits are very long like 3-7 minutes and we couldn’t possibly follow that
These videos are so great how they talk over all the best parts 🙄🙄🙄 thanks 👍

Dancing with Patrick swayze for the win in the chippandale contest
Absolutely! Chris Farley's Chippendale audition sketch was indeed iconic and hilarious. it's crazy that nobody broke during that sketch.
@@MsMojo It's also the sketch that writer Bob Odenkirk absolutely *hated* as (in his opinion) it was nothing more than a fat joke. Would be funnier is this woman wasn't non-stop narrating over everything
Who wrote the narration? “Stellar choreography “ in lunch lady land. Gimme a break.
How about letting the scene play out and then talk about it, and not talking over the scene? Frustrating
The Chippendale Sketch.

It's always funnier to have a joke covered up with a voiceover explaining how funny the joke was. Well done.
Absolutely Fantastic!!
“Whoops-a-daisy!!” I run out of breath laughing every time I hear Chris say that.
Farley was an absolute legend. He was a master of physical comedy and he never failed to make us laugh. There’s been so many movies we could only imagine watching him act in. He’s now living in a van down by the river up in Heaven. RIP Chris
The UFO skit where his pants fell down was gold!
Would be better without boring commentary
The skit or Chris Farley with Patrick Swayze dance off for Chippindale's is a great skit also.
The skit where he is at a restaurant and becomes an unsuspecting participant in a hidden camera coffee commercial... that's another good one!
So basically, this entire video is almost "Adam Sandler unable to keep a straight face around Chris Farley"
My favorite is when Chris Farley and Patrick Swayze do the Chippendales male review, that is hilarious.. Farley was a legend...
9:50 he got everyone of them to break, even Phil Hartman cracked a smile lol Chris was the best
Him and Patrick Swayze dancing audition for Chippendales. And his interview with Paul McCartney should be included as well!!😂😂😂
chippendales skit with Patrick Swayze should be up there
Definitely 😂
Pepper Boy gives me a headache from laughing everytime.. It's so ridiculous.😂
The narrating ruins this video
When Farley broke through the doors at the prison he hit the guard's face standing on the right side. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I agree, the Chippendale's audition with Farley and Swazey was pretty great! ❤
I remember watching the number one bit the very night it was live. It seriously was Farley Brilliance that was legendary on every level.

Farley as General Norman Schwarzkopf on weekend update ..when he started the "I want Holyfield" Rant, Dennis miller held back the laugh but had a huge grin the whole time
I really enjoy the moments between Sandler and Farley
Farley was the last of the best on SNL .God rest his wonderful soul.
He was hilarious 😂
I would have appreciated more Chris Farley and less commentation. It was frustrating at times when the narrator was speaking when Chris was muted.
You just described this whole channel. Could be called Obvious Over Narrator

"Emilio Estevez:"
"Don't mind him."
"I'm a fan of his work."
"HE NEEDS A BEATIN'! HE NEEDS A BEATIN' BAD!"
That was the best of times for SNL ❤
Never see that again 🫏🤮
Farley and Swayze, Chippendales audition. Laughing so hard I almost passed out.
the only that's not funny is you guessed it: THE NARRATOR.
