I'm shocked that Tina Fey isn't #1. Her appearance, coupled with the silly line "I can see Russia from my house" was so strong and iconic that it's often mistakenly attributed to ditzy Palin. I'm also shocked that Will Ferrell's Dubya wasn't pushed farther down the list by many other entries.
Scarlett Johansson as Alabama Sen. Katie Britt delivering the Republican response.was the creepiest, funniest spoof I've ever seen. Could not stop laughing.
I was shocked when Janet Reno made a cameo during the dance party skit. The best is still Norm MacDonald’s Bob Dole impersonation. It was so over the top & even better when Dole made an appearance when Norm was in character as him. How did that not make the list??🤔
My favorites from this list are Sean Spicer, Sean Connery, and Kathie Lee Gifford. Kathie Lee hated the spoofing of her, which fits with how bad of a person she is. (Her company allegedly had children sewing her clothing line in foreign sweatshops.) One that is not on this list is the current portrayal of Joe Biden by Dana Carvey. I love that impression because he gets Biden's current mannerisms and phrases down ("no joke") while Carvey puts so much energy into it.
Julia Child LOVED Dan Ackroyd's impression. On the other end, Kathie Lee DESPISES the impression of her by Kristen Wiig. She thinks it makes her out to be a drunk. I mean, when you always have a glass of booze in front of you in the morning on TV, you kinda put that out there yourself Kathie Lee.
This definitely covers all the best ones, even featured a few good ones that aren’t on the list (Trebek, older Bush, Alec Baldwin’s version of Trump). Some of the other reoccurring game show impressions are also memorable - Bill Hader as Lindsey Buckingham and Keenan Thompson as Steve Harvey come to mind. Also Kate McKinnon as Lindsey Graham.

These could be good if there was way less of your commentary and way more of the actual skits. Youre really not adding any value with your comments IMO.

actually, kate mckinneons fatal attraction spoof for trump was actually kinda spot on.....im surrounded by trump fanatics in oklahoma, some who will kill for him
The Dan Aykroyd skit spoofing Julia Child is so old it needs 2 little bio videos before showing the skit. Some of the younger crowd might know Dan Aykroyd because of Ghostbusters, but I don't know how many people will actually know who Julia Child is.
The best? Tina Fey by a street, uncanny, Emmy winning, and probably the most effective at undermining an individual (and campaign). The most 'savage' either Will's Janet Reno or Molly Shannon's Lewinsky, cuz...ouch

would be better to show the real person as well for comparisons
By to
Dana Carvey Regis Philbin Billy Crystal Fernando Lamas
James Austin Johnson better Diaper Donnie than Alec Baldwin - really?
Kellyanne Conway, by Kate McKinnon, disturbingly vicious but, on target
Melissa McCarthy as spicy was amazing 😂
14:36 - MaCarthy as Sean Spicer is the funniest thing on SNL in the last 20 plus year. I laugh so hard when this first came on. 🤣🤣
Melissa McCarthey as Carl Spicer & Norm McDonald as Burt Reynolds, to HYSTERICAL 😂😅😂😅
yes!
Tina Fey as Sarah Palin should have been #1. Rumor has it when the real Sarah Palin was at Studio 8H Lorne Michaels mistook Tina for the real Sarah.
Norm as Burt and Tina as Palin are just pure Gold .
My favorite part of Melissa playing "Spicy" is when she rode in on her podium like a Segway.
addictive to watch!
One of the best skits ever!
The narrator talks way too much over the acts. Too much info we dont want too much opinion. We can form our own and enjoy it. 😅😅
"You box dirty!"
"Then how comes my conscience is so clean!" Lol
Refer to Peter Davidson
18:09 I legit can't tell the difference between fake Palin and real Palin.
John Belushi as Joe Cocker
McCartney as Spicer was brilliant LOL
When Peter Davidson play a angry Rundolph who decides to get even with his bullies.
Rudolph is a reindeer, not human
And where is Cecily Strong's impression of Jeanine Pirro?
2:25 This was truly the wild card performance. Also, Matt Damon in more comedies and parodies plz?
On 11/2/24, Maya Rudolph portrayed Kamala Harris, AND the REAL Kamala Harris showed up as a complete surprise to everyone.
While a great impression, I don’t find it particularly savage. Kamala did great last night!
I started to watch but there's way too much narration on this channel.
John Belushi, Bill Murray all impressions Chris Farley....any impression, they nail it or at least keep us entertained.
Janet Reno's appearance was awesome. One of my favorite SML cameos.
@@kathrynhaught630 Same. Especially since they really mocked her & she came across as so serious.
@AcidCasper17 she had a sense of humor after all.
Chevy Chase as Gerald Ford? Fantastic physical humor.
He really brought the physical comedy to that one!
Noooo y’all didn’t skip over the Hilary Clinton impression by Amy Poehler!!!
Amy's impression was the better one.
The most savage ever was John Belushi as Elizabeth Taylor. Entirely different level of savage.
Darrel Hammond as Bill Clinton should have been in there
Thanks for talking and overtaking the impersonation
Matt Damon was amazeballs
Burt Reynolds and Sean Connery were classic
New idea: do top 10 best 4th wall breaking moments in cartoons
My favorites from this list are Sean Spicer, Sean Connery, and Kathie Lee Gifford. Kathie Lee hated the spoofing of her, which fits with how bad of a person she is. (Her company allegedly had children sewing her clothing line in foreign sweatshops.) One that is not on this list is the current portrayal of Joe Biden by Dana Carvey. I love that impression because he gets Biden's current mannerisms and phrases down ("no joke") while Carvey puts so much energy into it.
The late Gilda Radner wa genious Roaeanneroseannadan. Rip. Such a loss
OMG! I laughed so hard I think I leaked a drop or 2. I remember every one of these sketches. Awesome
Not sure if this was already mentioned. Darrell Hammond doing Hardball's Chris Mathews has to be up there somewhere. HA!!!
Was Alec Baldwin as Donald Trump glossed over? He was mentioned but he deserves a numerical place on your list. Same with Jim Carrey as Joe Biden.
I can't believe you don't have Maya Rudolph as Kamala Harris or Dana Carvey as Joe Biden on the top 20 list.
Alec Baldwin makes the best Trump
Will Ferrell as Bush was good, but I don't know if it was #1 good. Definitely top 5, though.
Eddie Murphy as James Brown...Hot Tub!
was it savage though?
gal gadot if you include her personality, is a 10 out of 10
These impressions are hilarious 😂
The celebrity Jeopardy sketches were my favorite.
Whhaaat? Alec Baldwin should’ve been #1!
He was good!
Gal ga dote 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Another savage SNL impression was Newt Gingrich by Chris Farley.
tim waltz reminds me of Chris farley!
This is when we new how to have fun. Even megan mccarthys impression Sean Spicer was awesome. No partisan crap. Just funny
Sean spicer was perfect 😂😂😂😂
how can u not list Amy Poehler as angry Hilary Clinton

I'm sad that there probably won't be anymore Kamala Harris routines by Maya Rudolph, at least for the next 4 years. 🙁
These could be good if there was way less of your commentary and way more of the actual skits. Youre really not adding any value with your comments IMO.
Did i miss it? Dana Carvey as Biden.
Im just glad SNL started making fun of Kamala instead of Trump ALL..THE...TIME!!! Geesh....
Chevy Chase as Gerald Ford
My favorite part was when the narrator talked over every clip, until I skipped to the next video…
Eddie Murphy as James Brown
Sara palin is a winner 🏆 with Tina Fey
Ross perot was so good by Dana carvey
Happy saturday afternoon, Rebecca, take care and God bless you. Greetings from Colombia to you as well
I'm kind of surprised Chevy Chase's Gerald Ford wasn't on here.
His "Gerald Ford" was just him being a clutz. There wasn't really an impression there.
@@gfear24 So? The list is about how savagely they portray people. Portraying the President as a clumsy moron is completely valid.
Whaaaat? No Belushi as Joe Cocker?
Where's Keenan Thompson (Tiger Woods, Steve Harvey, Black Jeopardy, etc.)?
Matt Damon as Brett Kavanaugh was crying? I thought he was trying not to laugh. Maybe I'm confused.
Dan Ackroyd as Nixon
My personal favorite was Norm Macdonald as Bob Dole.
Melissa McCarthy and Tina Faye..the best
Chris Farley - Wilson Phillips. Most savage !
I am crying now. Go SNL..
Bieber by McKinnon,...amazing and even sexy.
Norm!!!!!
There are so many good ones to choose from. Will Farrell and Phil Hartman always nailed it...
Larry David as Bernie Sanders!!!
Do the lying Blasey Ford, or Princess Squaw Elizabeth Warren, or Corn Pop(he was a bad dude) or Brandon at an Ice Cream stand trying to get a brain freeze!!! 😂😂😂😂
Who's the real palin , tina looked exactly like her but no one could replicate her idiocy, you are one unto yourself with that, RIP Gilda and Phil

The good old days.
I'm old enough to remember when SNL was funny. That was a long time ago!!!
Saturday night live just ain't what it used to be...so 😢 sad
Agree long long long time ago it was great ...i miss Chris Farley
@@marksnyder6120 ..Iam really disappointed 😞 that SNL...has tanked!
Kamala Harris impersonator
It might be fun if we could see more impressions rather than a bunch of talk!
The Dan Aykroyd skit spoofing Julia Child is so old it needs 2 little bio videos before showing the skit. Some of the younger crowd might know Dan Aykroyd because of Ghostbusters, but I don't know how many people will actually know who Julia Child is.
Baldwin was the worst Trump impersonator ever.
What does the narrator need to describe we are seeing?
Still love the show, watched first episode.
Ummmm…..you were missing some excellent impressions by Melissa Villasenor!
Alex tribeck
SNL stopped being funny by the 80s
Used to be funny but that was a long time ago - a long time ago.
Gal gadot even approaching a scenario where
She parodies anyone, especially someone hotter, younger and WAY more successful than her. “Imagine” lol
The show has not been funny for a very long time.
True dat!
my goodness.. if you would shut up and let us watch it was a 2 million views,
The best? Tina Fey by a street, uncanny, Emmy winning, and probably the most effective at undermining an individual (and campaign). The most 'savage' either Will's Janet Reno or Molly Shannon's Lewinsky, cuz...ouch
Too much yakking and not enough of the actual funny stuff!!! She obscures almost all the funny parts by her nonstop commentary!
Kate McKinnon is the best and funniest
I like beer okay!
that is ONE guy on SNL who is glad Trump won!
