This is why I love all cars in all different engine sizes etc.. from this gorgeous little pocket rocket that takes 22 secs for 100 to 200 to a race chip mk8 golf r doing same 100 to 200 in half that to cars like 720s doing it in sub 5 seconds. All amazing. Would be great to see them on a huge drag race with a drone view from above to see the difference in real life..

Yes you can turn it off when you change the Engine Settings. The sound only appears if you take ne highest Engine setting. On Sport mode you got the raw exhaust sound, hope that helps :)
100-200 time is big improvement with chip

@@batman291 I was expecting this to be faster with said 200hp. Maybe korean horses have a weaker diet. My mother has a 2013 190hp AWD Mini Countryman, which is much heavier than this I20, and the AWD system steals a bunch of power from the engine, and still reaches 200kph at about the same time as the racechip version. Considering its my moms car, its obviously stock.
@@luisfelipewellenkamp5805 I would love to see a serious graph of that countryman. Just saw a Dragy grapf from a 218HP Countryman, it did it in 23 sec :-)
imagine, that even it is so slow in the straight, at the track achieves better times, than a super expensive gr yaris with 270hp (not the circuit pack with front and rear lsd)!! DO a search and see for yourself!! And this my frient means that either gr yaris is very slow at turns, or i20n is gorgeous!

oooooowh Jesus... no, for those interested in my car ... top speed around 250 km per hour, many from the data sheet say around 230, if you have road no around 250 obviously slight slope. 0-100 covered in 6,5-6,7 sec ... so if you want a car with DCT on AT8 with many horses maybe German or Italian ok ... it's easy just keep the controls on and know how to turn the steering wheel, if it is an audi you can also come from a Prius so it brakes and stays on the road. but if you want a manual FWD hothatch, you must both know the torque curves and how to use a manual if you want speed... so.. i'm confused abt oki. nice vid

The power-to-top speed ratio (i20 N Performance vs. i20 N RaceChip models) are not quite right...🤔😕 Maybe torque is better in different gears / torque revs and here’s the difference.

Mooi kleine sportwagen alleen die vering is onhebbelijk hard. Mijn Juke Nismo RS heeft ook zo'n 230 pk(stage 1) en een top van 230 km/u. De Juke RS is iets trager naar 100 km/u maar meer comfortabel voor lange afstanden. Toegegeven de i20N is wel een plakijzer op de weg

Pues a mí no me cuadra, nunca había visto 29 segundos en el 0-200 me parece una cifra que si haces el espacio de tiempo en el vídeo no es real. Parece publicidad de Race chip. Recordar que todavía no existe una gráfica para hacer stage en i20 y los chips de potencia son una basura para la fiabilidad. No es correcto éste video. Hasta en España que son unos mancos el 0-200 se hace en 26,86 segundos. Ahí lo dejo.

LOL, not worth the risk. You can gain more performance by tuning a NA engine, than this pathetic tune on a turbo. xD
It's a direct injected engine, can't do more than those allow, cause you can't easily swap them out like you could on Port injected cars.
And "just" tuning on an NA engine gains you literally nothing. All those gains come from modifications.
