This video is incredible. Not only were the instructions meticulous, you were aware of how to video. You knew that your orange tailor chalk wasn't visible on your original facing fabric so you changed to fabric for our benefit. Yes! Thank you!!! You were the first person, I've watched, who was completely aware of our needs. You gained this subscriber.
Adunni, thanks for a very clear explanation of how to make these two necklines! I would love to see the other necklines that you talk about. Looking forward to those videos!

You’re most welcome & thank you do so much for taking the time to leave a comment! Also, the bias tape method is great especially when you make your own bias from the fabric 🥹🤎
Would also love the video on different necklines. If you don't mind, could you also show us how to measure the neck width and neck depth on the person please?😊
Thank you. This was exactly what I need. Question: you showed just the front of the neckline. When doing a full garment, do you create one piece of bias for the entire neckline or do you do the front, then the back and connect the two?
Hi Nancy! Thank you so much & im so glad you find it useful. I apologise. I should have shown both sides. I use a different piece for the front and another for the back. Kindly watch ruclips.net/video/0z8qk2KnxCU/видео.html Minutes 9:00 -1:00 While I don’t show how to fix the bias strip, I do explain how to connect the front & back pieces ( 1 of 3 methods I use). I hope this helps, I’ll work on doing a follow up video where I show both methods I use. ❤️🤗
Hi Linda. Do you mean shouldn’t the front neckline be different from the back? If that’s what you mean, yes it should. I however, didn’t do any back necklines here ❤️
Hi thanks for the tutorial, How dis you determine the circumference of your neckline? and many inches of fabric is best to achieve the neckline are for interfacing and bias strip?thanks
Hiya! From experience we find that certain necklines have basic measurements especially when it’s free hand cutting. So for instance, a round neck is 4” wide by 4” depth. A v neck will be about 5.5” by 6” deep. However in pattern drafting, it’s a different ball game. I’ll do a video on necklines soon and I hope it helps ❤️

Okay ma’am! Will do ❤️
Good tutorial. Question: Shouldn't the front neckline be different from the front to allow for forward shoulders?
Hi Linda.
Do you mean shouldn’t the front neckline be different from the back? If that’s what you mean, yes it should. I however, didn’t do any back necklines here ❤️
Full of knowledge make more videos like this .
Thank you so much. Will definitely do
Well explained❤
❤️🙏🏾🥺 thank you so much
When doing the facing top stitching, is the stitching supposed to show on the front of the neck line?
There are many methods. If it’s with a bias like this it can show or you can tack it. Depends on your desired outcome. This was my intention ❤️
Thank you very this will help
Thank you so much ❤️
