Look at the clues. Pre pressed tape, using a stylus to control material right into the presser foot, beautifully cut and pressed pieces, short patient pulses. Well done!
daylite34 Sew slowly. It helps if you lower the speed setting on your sewing machine. Also, practice binding curves on spare fabric. An old cotton sheet is the perfect for the job.
Yes, you are right, but there is an even better way. In this video, I show how bias binding works for an industrial sewing machine: ruclips.net/video/WPsl34C2bCE/видео.html
Perfect Now to find out why my fabric wont iron flat, and what that white piece on the needle part is(only been sewing 3 weeks, sorry i dont know terminology)
Watch closely as she opens the bias tape just enough to slip the raw edge of the garment in to touch the center fold of the bias tape. She does not pull or stretch on either the bias tape OR the garment ... just lays them gently together. Wrinkles in the bias tape are caused by pulling on it as it progresses toward the needle. Also notice that she then uses a stiletto to hold everything in place as the feed dogs of the machine pull the fabric toward the needle. Trying to use your fingers in such close, precise work can cause wrinkling or pulling of the bias tape out of position or, worse, a finger tip going under the needle. OUCH! Position only a short section at a time - usually less than 2 inches - the more pronounced the curve, the shorter the distance; a longer distance can be positioned on a more gentle, gradual curve.
@@hollywaddell6727 thank you for your explanation. I've tried it for the first time and faced the same problem... Now I've understood what I did wrong.

The quality of the work depends on your experience only. A sewing machine is just a tool. In my case, I am using an old-fashioned industrial sewing machine.
You should tell which biais side goes on the right side of the fabric, because both sides of the biais are not of the same width. It’s important when the time comes to do the last seam.
The bias bind tape here in Australia is not as wide and good cotton as you show. It's much smaller so it's very then edged when done. It's not as good as it was years ago.
That's all great and a nice finish, but you're creating double fold bias tape - NOT using single fold, and applying it in the way it's designed for. Double fold tape should be used opened stitched down on the narrow side fold line, refolded and stitched in the ditch on the front. Using the tape correctly can create beautiful mortised corners. Those of us in the industry will also steam shape the bias tape to go around curves and corners. Bias tape is cut on the "Bias" to allow for a small amount of stretch to allow it to be sewn on curves. You should rename this video.
The music adds NOTHING to this video but ANNOYANCE. It's so unnecessary. The audio would be SO MUCH more valuable if you would just simply talk people through your technique.
Thank God this was straightforward.
Right?! There are videos on this same topic that are 7+ minutes !! Like, why???!

NICE NEAT AND CLEAN JOB!!! You made this look so much easier than it is! Thanks for sharing!
It takes a lot of time, thread, and practice
Thank you so much. The instructions with the pattern was mindbogling.

Thank you for your videos. They are wonderfully helpful/informative. What is ( the name of) that little white foot you are using?
Teflon presser foot
It looks great.... so how is it not wrinkly? Every time I try this the fabric looks uneven.... plz advise 🙏🏼

I really like how simple you made joining the bias, Thank you. I would like to know what type and brand of sewing machine you use. Thank you again..
The quality of the work depends on your experience only. A sewing machine is just a tool. In my case, I am using an old-fashioned industrial sewing machine.
Wonderful video!
Did you first sew the neckline and then the shoulder seam to finish it off nicely?
Yes
No basting required?! Wow!
It's really helpful... It was my first time but I did good... though not same as u but good... Thanks
Thank. Overtime, you will make great.
There’s always a bit that doesn’t catch at the back when I do it!
👍👍👍👍👍, Iam from kerala, where is your place?
Big thanks 🌼🌹
Can you show how to make this top?
Woww looks great 👍👌
Very nice
what is the tools you are using at the beginning? It looks like a long needle but I know it's not.
Sewing awl
hi your youtube is amazing . i followed it but my bias binding is gaping forwards . what am i doing wrong ?
Try to fasten the bias tape with basting stitches before sewing on a sewing machine.
Sewing a bias tape accurately requires a lot of experience.
The title says single fold, but you really turned it into double fold.
You are right, sorry. The titles are made by other people who do not understand anything about this.
good job
Thank you
omg that looks so nice but when i do it it never catches the binding on the other side
To do this, the bottom must be wider than the top. And besides, if you have little experience, it is advisable to baste it by hand.
You should tell which biais side goes on the right side of the fabric, because both sides of the biais are not of the same width. It’s important when the time comes to do the last seam.
Narrow biais side goes on the right side.
Neat work
What pressure foot are you using.
I almost always use a teflon-sole foot.
the best way to sew a bisis directly in one fold is to baste it to hold it in place, then sew with machine
It's good to see n see thank u mam
What is the name of the red tool you used to guide you?
It’s called a sewing awl. If you search Amazon for Clover Straight Tailors Awl you’ll find the one I use for about $7.
Thank you!
I did, thank you so much.
very nice
Thanks!

You know you can get various widths of bias tape here in Oz. Spotlight sells a variety of different widths.
Is patti kay liye kinay cm fabric lena hai
This way is suitable for lightweight fabrics, cotton and medium thickness. Chiffon and similar fabrics are very difficult.

Nice but some relaxing music would be better
