Helpful video. Do the replacement hydraulics you used fit the Rad frame attachment points or do you need to obtain adapters? Also, do the brake motor cutoffs activate the brake light or just cut off the motor, and do the stock connectors on the two brake cutoff just plug into the wire harness or must you splice the wires into the existing cutoff wires? Thanks for assist.
The brake calipers attach right to the existing mounts, no adapters needed. The brake motor cutoff sensors also activate the brake light and there is no splicing, the new sensors have the same connector as the stock one and just plug right in.
Awesome setup and thanks for sharing your brake upgrade. I noticed you changed your handle bar too. Where did you get it? Is it a lot wider than stock? I like how you can attach more accessories on the bar easier since it's straight but it looks wide.
yeah, I changed the bars and the stem, I have an upgrade video on my channel with all the links. The bars are wider than stock and yes, the flat bar makes it much easier to mount accessories. The bars even have marks on them so if they're too wide you can cut them down.
@@SuPRCooPR That's awesome..with the Bolton upgrade screen, is the mounting bracket wider than the stock Rad Power one? Or is it at least adjustable? Because I have an aftermarket stem I want to use but the bracket is wider than the Rad Power display's bracket..bleh.
The brackets came from a controller box that I purchased on eBay. The box was too small for the controller but the mounting hardware it came with worked perfect.
Looks and sounds great, SuPRCooP. Definitely gonna do this upgrade, soon after I get my Rover that is, heh. Ordered in early June and they said delivery will be sometime in July. Well...today's July 1st, but with my luck I know it won't get here until the 31st! Thanks for the update
Cats Paw Inventory and shipping have been hit pretty hard, seems like things are getting a bit better though, hopefully you’ll see that gigantic Rad box on your doorstep soon!
Thanks. This was very informative and has me interested in doing this upgrade.

@@SuPRCooPR Great news. Many thanks!
Awesome bro!! I really need brakes I have a mongoose mauls with 2wd front and rear motor need brakes I wonder if these fit on my bike
Those should work fine on the Malus, the mounts are pretty much universal.
@@SuPRCooPR awesome bro thanks!!
Where did you get the decals for your fender? Looks good!
Augusto Mendez fusedmatter on eBay, here’s a link www.ebay.com/itm/223982867688
It looks like the link to the brake set is no longer valid. Do you have another recommendation for a Radrunner?
The brake set is no longer available. Can you recommend another brake set link?

@@hughwong5020 the new display is about 1/4" wider than the stock one, adjustability is the same. Hope that helps.
@@SuPRCooPR awesome...thank you. How did you mount your Bolton controller? Did you use some modded bracket?

Any issue with just changing the front?
No, shouldn’t be any issue with that at all.
Now that you went full Hydraulic the motor cut off doesn't work when you apply the breaks correct? Does this feel safe when riding.
What size tires are those?
They are 2.5” x 26” Hookworms from Maxxis. They stretch over the 4” rims but you’ll also need to get smaller tubes, 2.7” to 3” on those.

Where’s that “link down below”?
It’s in the description of the video, you might need to tap the expand arrow to see it.
Since you went Hydraulic it doesn't cut off the motor correct?
Does it feel safe not having the motor cut off when you brake?
If you watch the video I explain how I installed the cut off switch. It works just like the stock brakes.
