10k rpm with a turbo is crazy
People have been doing this for years 😂
@@2seep , not with a bi turbo. V8 with 10K rpm in a production car is unique.
@@2seep lol this engine is mostly use for lmdh hypercars so having it on this car very rare
@@khel9505that's what makes it even more special.
Rip reliability
RIP V10🙏
I hope lamborghini will use CATL condensed semi solid state NCM cells in their battery packs for hybrid models, with 400 wh/kg in pack level energy density, they can store 7 times more energy in the same 70 kg revuelto battery pack which now has 3.8 kwh capacity, only problem with lamborghini hybrid systems is unefficient heavy battery packs
NOT THE V10 NOOOO ༼;´༎ຶ ༎ຶ༽
@@davidfujkk8018 Keep copy pasting this to every comment. Someone might care.
V12 also😭😢
@@epicon6 who asked your opinion?
This isn't the first time Lamborghini had its own V8 engine. A friendly reminder that the Urraco, Jalpa and several others back then had a V8.
Nah, to those people, it's brand new. Jalpa doesn't exist, Urraco is a fake Lamborghini and so is LM002.
@@VelionaEberbachTragically true, people just don't research these days
they werent that much of a success it will be interesting to see how this car is recieved
@@VelionaEberbachall have Lamborghini badge, some of them were even overseen by Ferrucio. You people are retarded.
That's sugarcoating. We both know the direction things are going, only smaller
Sad to see the V10 go but this is a GREAT replacement
10k RPM, I can forgive Lamborghini. But it better sound good at 10k
@@LightningStriker Any engine configuration will sound good at 10000RPM
Nothing more inspirational than hearing a German explain to the listeners about great Italian engineering...
Axis powers ! For Horsepower!
10k rpm!? That is incredible because you rarely ever see such a high limit on turbocharged engines which are usually at 6-7k rpm.
Never thought I’d live to see Lamborghini make a new V8 super car like they did back in the day. I’ll miss that glorious V10, but I’m excited to see where this goes!!!
Revs to 10,000 RPM!?!? 😍😍😍 Man, this is gonna be so frikkin rad.
We'll miss the V10. But I think we're going to like this a lot. Turbos and 10k rpm limit. You know that tuners will be raising the boost and the rev limiter. 11,500 rpm I'm sure we'll see!
10k is already insane for a turbo engine. Notice how all the high reving production engines are naturally aspirated.
Lol, no we won't be seeing 11.5k rpm. It's hard to add that much to an understressed engine, let alone one already doing 10k.
How many Honda s2000's have been doing 10.5k for the last 24 years? Essentially zero
@@Wallstreetavarice 10,000 rpm was nothing for the B Series engine and the K20's do it as well...
936 hp and 1030 nm of torque 🤔 stats not final!!
I’m intrigued to know this sound of this engine revving up to 10000 rpm
Won’t sound like much since it’s heavily turboed and electrically assisted
Eh with the right exhaust configuration it can sound very good.if you want an example look at the Jesko Attack.
A flat plane crank V8 tt😅
@@epicon6if you heard their LMH car, then you’ll know it sounds good
@epicon6 10k RPM means it will scream more than Z06.
@@AP13P well considering how the Lt6 is naturally aspirated and this Lambo V8 is forced induction.its not as responsive.turbos will ALWAYS have lag
Love how they kept the ICE
I love how pagani didn't abandon the biturbo v12 while lamborghini abandoned v10 for a v8
@@mrfishsticks266Its basically half a bugatti
@@mrfishsticks266 ah yea I agree. But you can’t complain heaps because this new V8 is pretty bonkers
That’s the only way to go electric…
@@ivegonemadthe Porsche mild hybrid in the new 911 is also pretty cool. Only 50 kilos.
10,000 rpm? Nice.
Would still prefer an NA V10 with a super capacitor or electric hybrid system though.
Exactly!!
So, according to you, the company should listen more from enthusiasts and not from actual buyers (I am an enthusiast )
The buyers aren't the ones pushing this, it's government regulations because as everyone knows, government always knows best 🙄
Yes if it had the NA V10 it would sound good. Well let us see the V8. 10,000 rpm sounds interesting. Also super capacitors are stupid expensive. That is why they did it with the Sian and Countach only as they are limited run cars and they can charge a lot.
You should know as a car person that more doesn't always mean better look at the Daza powered Audi RS3 those things sometimes sound way better than V10's and it is capable of crazy performance figures
It reves higher than the old V10 😱😱
10k rev line in a turbo is basically F1 wtf F1 cars in 80s revved that high hell in today's F1 cars they rev to 11k race 12k quali, this is crazy good nothing to do with Audis 4.0lV8 in Urus
If this engine turns out to be reliable and has great sound, it will decimate all!! Because twin turbo engines do not normally rev to 10k RPM! This is an amazing achievement indeed.
It is the same engine with their lmdh hypercar
@@khel9505 Seems similar, but not exactly. The LMDH car is 3.8 liter V8 TT without electric motor and this one is 4.0 liter V8 TT with electric motor.
@@iphoiethe literage can be changed with larger cylinder banks, so I guess that's probably the case also, lmdh engines are very reliable so I guess this is a win.
@@kishlayverma6622 That is good to hear, I’m looking forward to seeing this engine perform in person!
This is absolutely amazing. Did you just say a 10,000 RPM, TWIN TURBO ENIGNE? I thought that wasn't even possible. (At least it road cars)
This is Mind Blowing. And with that Flat Plane Crank? This is going to sound like heaven. (I hope) Sure maybe not as good as the V10, but this truly seems like a worthy successor.
I am so excited about the new Huracán Successor, Forza Lamborghini!
we got 20 year old motorcycles revving up to 16.5k rpm. Even older the 90s 250 sportbikew rev up to 21k.
@@carlosandleonit's not a motorcycle engine genius! It doesn't have shorter stroke lengths and smaller bore diameters like that of a motorcycle to enable it to rev past 11k rpm.
@@carlosandleonyou slow? This is not a 600cc engine it is a 4000cc V8 with 2 turbos
Lamborghini sees no bounds
Dr Crazy is the best salesman ever.
He's really categoric in his speech 😅
I wouldn't say I'm excited to see the v10 replaced with a hybrid but the 10000 rpm redline will certainly be entertaining, far more so than other offerings in the market.
First the v12 and now the v10 I have no words
the V12 is still in the new Revuelto
@@rai2uYeah, but it's last V12. Lamborghini 😢
@@Godzilla13m No it's not the last with the amendment Ferrari in Europe. Just Lamborghini can sell a car with a V12 engine if he pass Euro 6 regulations + sells under 10K vehicles per year. Ferrari with the Purosangue + 12 Cilidri they have a V12 with Euro 6 regulations without electric engine 🙂
@@Godzilla13mthats just rumors
@@Godzilla13mThat’s BS, they said that with the Ferrari 812 and look where that went.
so:
we had the LB744 engine for the Revuelto (744kw = 1012PS ≈ 1000hp)
now its the LB634 for the Huracan successor which could mean that the new engine‘s output is around 850hp, or 862 PS.
Im still confused is the 778hp shown is from the engine itself or with the e motor since the e motor produce 148hp combine it would be atleast 850-900hp
Around 940hp if there are ev motors at the front as well.
@@kishlayverma6622whats the point of the Reveulto by then lol
@@leonchn7500 NA V12
I remember this guy showing the Hoonigans the Audi TT Club Sport years ago.
Don't be sad pepole, The V10 is dead unfortunately but Lamborghini put a very good V8 TT with 10K RPM🔥🔥 Not like Mercedes AMG with the 4cylinder Dayson vaccum engine on the new C63 e AMG 🤢🤮
But v10 sound glorious
No gear change lag might be just what Lambo needs to change the game for them, topend gears and bottom end always powerful but changing through midrange gears is obviously slowing the cars down before the power kicks in at topend gear's, all the best Lamborghini, if I had a dreamcar it's always a Lamborghini .✌️
😂 not how that works. Gears act as a gear ration. With the last gears having the least amount of torque. The first gears have the most torque. It’s called torque multiplication. 1st 4.3, 2nd 3.1, 3rd 1.7, 4th 1.0, 5th 0.76 , 6th 0.6, 7th 0.5. In a 7 gear transmission you multiply the amount of torque the engine produces at a certain rpm with the ratio the gear gives. Top gears significantly reduce your power. Power is made at 10k in this engine that Lamborghini made. You can rev to 10k for each gear. Horsepower will be at its highest but torque will start to dip down before max hp is reached. However since HP= torque x (rpm/5252) the higher rpm will make up for lost torque. There is also almost no gear change lag in a dual clutch transmission.
Start up sound at the end of video is amaizing and if it will sound like this at start up I can't imagine how it will soud at 10 000 rpm and it's engine sound sneak peek that nobody noticed
Omg i'm so excited!!!! I was sad at first to see the V10 gone, but since it sounded more like a straight 5 than a real V10 it's waay better with a V8, especially if it's a 10k rpm flat plane one, even if it’s with turbos, with proper straight pipe-ing it will sound goooooood, a lot easier than making a custom crankshaft for the V10 wich no one did anyway
This hard German accent 😂😂
Would be much nicer if this new one co-exist with NA V10 and V12❤❤❤
I'll take the 10k rpm turbo engine no problem. Its really impressive.
New Porsche video drops, " we added a led light bar to the back of the car, look how cool it is!"
Lamborghini "hold my beer!"
I would love it if they just twin turbo chargers on the v10 😊
It’ll be hard to automatically fathom no V10 or V12 when the word Lamborghini enters my head. Hopefully this new configuration will be as iconic in the future
Dr. Crazy ❣️
Dicken Knutscha aus Berlin,
Ramsi 😘 🙋🏻♂️
Can't wait to upgrade those turbos 😅
if i get my hands on one I'm making it N/A
This is impressive
Lambo all day everyday
So rear wheel drive only? Thats a spicy meat ball at 10k rpm ❤
Crazy no?
Temerario
Future goals! 10-000 rpm symphony! Can't wait to hear one !!
So funny to see people complaining as if lamborghini wanted to get rid off the v10 or v12 without electric engine. Do you even know whats going on or are you just pretending not to know… seriously be happy that they still have a combustion engine…
How can a turbo charged engine rev to 10k rpm. Mind blowing🤯
How do we feel this thing will sound…? I’m having real sadness about the loss of the v10
GTA 4 Dimitri Rascalov Live action :
Fellow liberty city resident 😌
Question, is it 800hp with the ICE engine only or is it 800hp between the ICE and electric ?
ONLY the ICE. with the electric motors it will make atleast 900.
@@ItsJustBIaze not far behind the big lambo for less money 🤓
@@AaronShiner I imagine they will release higher trim levels for the reveulto like they did for the Aventador
What if turbocharger is connected secondary alternator or generator?
Instead of compressing air pressure.
Will it be more efficient in hybrid system?
I'm excited. Hope the exhaust still sounds like a Lamborghini at 10k RPM
This is better engine than F1
Lamborghini forever.
Can you clutch/declutch the MGU or the engine indepently?
Damn need one!
Ik of all secret supercars, those are Lamborghini Autentica, Lamborghini Invencible and Lamborghini Celestial
VW Group meetings must be fascinating. Each marque seems to be churning out their own brilliant contraptions.
Man, this looks amazing!
10.000rpm flat plane V8 with over 900hp / 1000nm... This is a great powertrain!
Lamborghini is truly a perfect piece of art. Although I cannot afford his real car, I can afford a Lamborghini model car
LAMBO = GOAT CAR
10,000rpm gonna sound like a race car
I was sceptical at first, but come on, flat plane crank, 10k rpm, 100% easely tunable, seems nice. Just please bring back manual 😂
Depends whether or not it has an aftermarket support. The NA v10 had so much more support, which is why they compete with GTRs for first place at tk Texas
Thank you. Thank you
Pretty amazing 10k rpm near 1000hp
Is Lamborghini gonna pair twin turbos with V8 from now on?
I believe this must be a hybrid assisted V8 they use in the SC63 endurance prototype hypercar
Good Lamborghini Unveiling The Lamborghini 634 The Next Generation Of Hybrid Power
Not much of a car knowledge like industrial but always 😊 gets a smile seeing a lambo vid.
Congratulations, incredible piece of Engineering.
Looks like any significant mechanical engine work will require a full engine/transmission out. Plus high voltage stuff to worry about. Lamborghini: we build fun rentals.
Can't wait to see what AMS can do with this thing!!
Everybody will miss the V10 no question but seems like you have chosen the best alternative possible. I m deffenetly more hyped for that than the revuelto. Hope you get Design and the WEIGHT right😅
can it have cross-plane v8 vision?
I'd be mad as heck if I paid $200K+ for a supercar that had plastic intake manifolds.
I've had a V10 R8 for 12 years and still love it but the V10 has reached the end of its life. It had a good 20+ year run! At least the V8 has a flat plane so it should sound great.
Will the crankshaft be odd or even fire?
10k RPM limiter with flat plane crank, this is going to sound epic.
cant wait to hear it and see the new car
Dr. Crazy hat wieder einen raus gehauen. Bin auf den Sound gespannt. V8 mit flat plane, könnte was von den alten F1 haben. Turbo dämpft aber leider ein bisschen.
thumbs up for rouven💪✌️
The question is: why did they choose to flatten the torque curve? I bet they could have reached a higher figure, but strangely decided not to...
This is business buddy, you don't show your best cards in first go, they'll likely churn out other versions with higher hp and torque after the base model.
Would love to see how 10k rpm V8 sounds like.
Sad to see the iconic and rare V10 go, but unlike most new supercars today, this step from Lamborghini still genuanely excites me.
But can you turbo it like the v10 and beat everything is it as strong as the v10 etc
I stay tuned.
Good ✅

I am sad to see the V10 go, but this engine seems to be a good one too, im interested to see the horsepower amount. Looking forward to see more.
Another great German V8
Wow 😳😳 v 8 Lambo is making it clear now high performance
Supercars are a dying breed.
We need 4door crossover hot hatch with 8v hybrid just like Purosangue
Lambo must have another cash cow
Urus is not enough

I.WANT.TO.HEAR.IT!!!😈❤️🔥🤘🏼🐂
the engine may be capable of 10k rpm, but I doubt it'll stay unlimited at that, but even if it's 8-9k rpm it's still impressive for a turbo engine
Sounds faster than the revuelto
It can be, revuelto chassis is very big like bugatti carbon chassis for comfort
I think it can also fit Manual Transmission
The guy has a clear bolognese accent.
RIP glorious V10 howl.
Are they going to put it in the Urus?
very impressive
We lost another one 😔
