I picked one of these up a year or so ago, promptly lost it in my house, then found it again. It had kept perfect time. At first I did not like it because the casing is plastic but honestly I’ve had no problems with it and if it breaks it was affordable and can be easily replaced. I think mine has military time written on it too so that was a plus. I ended up liking it quite a bit for what it was.

Crashed… the sun too the 12 / 00 on the dial, then the time of day… e.g. 10:30 or 14:00; then divide the sun (@12:00 / 00:01) to the time 10:30 / 14:00 will give you a rule of thumb for north / south (depending on which side the planet you are on…) used it many times as a quick reccy for general direction to a set point N / S …luv your stuff …

I believe this model has a resin case, correct? I'm considering this one for a work watch and need something non-conductive for working in electrical panels.

it looks and sound like non metal parts and the watch is very light to so i think it is . The bottom part where you open it to change the Batteries is out of Stainless Steel though
