I’ve had this watch for a couple weeks and I’ve been loving it! Accurate, easy to read, and affordable. Plus I happen to quite like the look of it. What’s not to love 😉
I like timex , have several in my collection , I like the waturburys bests of all have several of them . good honest watch , love your reviews , keep em coming . Looks good with a nato .
I've had a lot of QC (and purchasing/website) issues with Timex over the years, but this particular model does seem to be one of their winners. I have the green w/orange accents version, and it gets into my field watch rotation fairly often. Very good casual-but-competent look.
Having this watch for almost a year and it became a part of me so to speak. They are stylish and really fun for everyday wear. Hopefully they'll live to their "take a licking and keep on ticking" reputation for many years to come. Cannot call myself a distinguished watch collector or an enthusiast since for now my overall "collection" consists of Timex Weekender and Expedition but I'm already feeling some sort of addiction - especially to more affordable ones (who could've guessed, right?) rather than luxury (also coz my funds are far from those Forbes folks, at least for now) since they have that reputation of robust and dependable everyday companion that can withstand nearly everything.
TIMEX is great brand for a collection. Some of their recent release are really good. They have the heritage to lean on too. And no one comes close to beating INDIGLO do they? Keep collecting and enjoying them! Thanks for watching!
I own lots of watches from Rolex to Timex, but this particular watch probably gets worn the most. I've worn mine while swimming and sweating, but I haven't seen any corrosion on the case (a problem for most Timex's I've owned) and the canvas strap has held up very well. I like it so well I bought another :)
As a non-watch guy, I picked up one of these and love it. I love the simple face, minimal case and Indiglo. However I don't care for the strap on the one I got, there's no stretch and there's no nice in-between for my wrist that isn't too tight or too loose. I've ordered a NATO stretchy parachute strap off Amazon that I think will improve the wear tenfold. To anyone wondering, the common plastic, push-pin style (if you search "elastic watch strap") do NOT fit on this one, the pin location is too deep inside the lugs and there is no room to rotate. You need something that doesn't protrude beyond 20mm for it to fit.

I so nearly bought one of those when I purchased my recent Citizen. I added it to my wish list so will keep an eye on any reductions. I do love Eco Drive. Thanks for watching!

I think TIMEX are under rated. Got my eye on a waterbury or two lol. Thanks for watching, appreciated it.

I have never bought directly from them but have heard of issues from others. Thanks for watching!
How did you find the brass case wore after a year of owning? I just picked same model up.
Would it be too loud for classes?
I have one of these with red NATO & red second hand picked it up for $27 on sale love the indiglo 👍
Red NATO eh? Nice contrast. That is a great price as well. Thanks for watching!

Did they use brass on the case to keep the price down?
And does the coating wear off after time?

Great to hear that a great watch doesn't need to cost the price of a ROLEX. Thanks for watching!
Nice watch, it looks good. I prefer nylon straps to canvas. Thank you for a good review.
Thanks for watching! Yeah I am not a fan of canvas straps.

What about the sound ? They all talking about the ckick sound of the watch
@@CanAurelius It's a watch. It ticks. I'm sure watch nerds will get all anal about the character of the tick but it's fine.

@@skrufff Cool ! Thank you , Im gonna buy it in 2 or 3 weeks , you helped a lot thanks !
You should check out the Sekonda NK 3347 great value
Just looked it up. Added to my list! Thanks
I prefer the CITIZEN"S "Chandler".
I think that if not perfect, almost, due to their field watch case diameter., added to the 'eco-drive' system.

Nice beater watch the price has gone up on all timex watches by 30%
I prefer leather straps on my work watches . They breath better in hot weather.
Good point. It is nice when you have a nice 'broken in' leather strap you can rely on.
cool❤❤
The ideal field watch? At 38mm, yes.
Really is a shame its child's size
