I know it's a matter of personal taste, or preference, but Freddie was always my favorite of the Three Kings. Love B.B., love Albert, but Freddie just kills me. The way I see it, B.B. had the frankincence, and Albert had the myrrh, but Freddie had the gold.

For people not familiar with the BLACK AMERICAN MUSICAL TRADITION, he taking you to Church! What I mean is, he's pacing himself and using the same cadence that a preacher would. He is even using the CALL AND RESPONSE of the Church. If you were in Church, the old preachers would encourage the congregation so they could preach the sermon together. Freddie is encouraging the audience to sing it with him. I appreciate the fact you're paying homage and appreciation to some of the original masters. Great Video. Great Reaction.

The man-est music there is always puts rhythm first and the feeling follows, as far as my definition "man music" goes.

Was listening to Buddy Guy and this came up next. It’s a day for some classic blues it seems. My siblings played and still play in blues bands I heard blues playing from a young age. I could never say one genre is my favourite but some days it’s just gotta be the down home dirty sweet twang with a little mouth harp blues.
