Thanks for bringing us this incredibly dynamic Freddy King performance!
Yes, Yes YESSSS!!!
Gimme the BLUES!!!
Mark, you've just experienced ⅓ of the Three Kings-
FREDDY KING!
ALBERT KING!
and the Mayor of Bluesville,
B.B. KING!
Now you've gotta do reactions to Albert and BB!!!
❤ this channel!!!
Credibility and your authenticity is so endearing.
Freddie “BOSS” King 👑‼️ Undeniable Greatness‼️
B.B.,Freddie, and Albert. Three Kings.
Woop, great selection Hector. Yes, it’s filthy, dirty bluesy blues. Spliff time.
🔥😎🔥😎
Freddie King, BB King & Albert King are three brother who are blues legends!!!
75 year old music lover here... Nothing like the Blues when performed like this. Freddie is a legend... Joe Bonamassa did his 3 Kings Tour Live at the Greek Theater showcasing songs by Freddie, Albert and B.B. King... Check out "Angel Of Mercy" or "Going Down" from that concert. You will love it...
.
Oh man….I’ve played that Goin’ Down so many times! He is so great live. Looking forward to seeing Joe again this August. Can’t wait!
Great reaction man! This genre is considered blues, and it's one of rock and roll's roots.
And that's how emotional extroverts communicate with their instruments.
I must have missed this one Hector. The great Freddie King. How fucking cool was that! He did an awesome cover of CCR's "Lodi", called "Lowdown In Lodi" and it's well worth checking out brother.
Eric Clapton did a very nice cover of this song. Also check out some B.B. King “The Thrill is Gone” and “How Blue can you Get” from Live in Cook County Jail.
"Sweet Sixteen" is my favorite
In the South we call this type of music GUT BUCKET BLUES....and I love it!!!!!!.. So glad you are enjoying all these new genres of music.....Peace Out...."70"
That was amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Freddy King - Goin Down - is a certifiable BrainSqueeze!!
He said Memphis Slim at 3:39.
I like your reaction to any genre of music you play.
Great great reaction! Thanks for keeping up the variety and exposing different and sometimes original forms of music! It's awesome! Again thank you so much! I am like #7 today. 🐞💜
Great song. It's blues by the way :) Much more than soul.
Welcome to The Blues! Nice reaction. When I was a teenager and young adult in Chicago back in the 70's, there were blues clubs/bars all over the area. I miss those days. Freddy is wonderful to watch and hear. I will recommend you take journey to hearing Janis Joplin's music. It is a wonderful combination of blues, jazz, soul, gospel and rock. Nobody sounds like she does.
Hector, I never thought if ever hear the phrase "why not, you fucking sexy Jesus-looking guy". Freddy King is SERIOUS blues....but OMG, that was the funniest thing I've heard in a long time 😂
🤣🤣🤣⏪️🧠
Git R Done Mr. Brain Freeze and He'll to the Fkn Yeah . And Freddy King is one of the best and shredding alert is activated .
Mm mm... Lights a cigarette and blows a sigh to the ceiling.... "Was it good for you too????" Very NICE :)
So we're getting bluesy now?
The list is long but amongst my musts -
John Lee Hooker - Boom Boom (Sparsey McSparse)
John Lee Hooker & Santana - The Healer (So thick you can wade in it)
Howlin' Wolf - Smokestack Lightnin' / Spoonful ('Dirty' blues, you know you shouldn't but, damn!)
Keep on enjoying.
John Lee Hooker and Van Morrison - Baby Please don't go
You would love Etta James Drown In My Own Own Tears live montreux 1975⏪
Freddy King take's blues to another level. I would love to hear you react to the song Key To The Highway on the Getting Ready album. I have seen him live a couple times once in a redneck bar called Randy's Rodeo in San Antonio Texas in the 1970's. Great Reaction.
Great reaction!!! Master Class in Blues!
I LOVE this!!! Just so excellent!!!!❤❤❤
Freddy King - Hideaway - is a school of how to play musical changes. Not one word is needed!!! Crowd pleaser!!!
Absolute FACTS!
And teaser😅
Paved the way for many greats. And he is reppin for Texas, what else can I say 💪
"Same Old Blues", and "I'll Play the Blues For You" are a couple more great songs written by Freddie King..
Not quite right hehe
"Same Old Blues" was written by Don Nix for the album "Getting Ready" and brilliantly interpretated by Freddie.
"I'll Play the Blues For You" was written by Jerry Beach for the album of the same title but this one was played by Albert King and not Freddie.
Still legendary tunes of the electric blues history ! ;)
Hiya Hector!!!!
Freddie's the King. If you dive into the "Layla" album, you'll hear a great studio cover🎸
OOOOhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!! Can't wait to watch your face on this one!!!!💜💜💜, your intros make my day!!!!🤗🤗🤗 Blues all the way!!!!! This is the filth you want in your home....😉So glad you got to experience this.
Love the Phrase " he's back to the future n it" gimme some Chuck Berry pretty please....
you have to try bb king🤩
That was awesome.
Somehow I missed Freddie King on my journey.
Some great blues artists that are like sign posts in the road of blues
Robert Johnson - Crossroads (Clapton inspiration)
Blind Willie Johnson - Nobody's Fault But Mine (yea where Led Zep got their song)
John Lee Hooker - Boom Boom
Howlin Wolf - Evil (anything really, my favourite)
Muddy Waters - Mannish Boy
Blues is another rabbit trail.
OH DAMN! How'd you get into Freddie?!
You haven't seen anthing until you see Stevie Ray Vaughan play live. Stevie Ray Vaughan Texas Flood Live at El Macambo is a must see. I recommended Tom Macdonald many months back (and you said you would try to get to it eventually, and look how that turned out) so I'd never stear you wrong. Freddie King was one of his heros btw. Cheers!
May i make a request ? . I mean i'm gonna anyway hehe , You'd love Beth Hart and Joe Bonamassa ( I'll take care of you ) But it has to be the live version, His solo at the end and Beths voice is one of the best around today for blues. ! x
I was truly in a rotten mood, then I saw Jesus on the piano and everything changed in an instant 😂😂
Welcome to the blues!! It will be a journey. You like soul you’ll love the blues. Try Muddy Waters, Bb King, Steve Ray Vaughan, Janis Joplin. It will curl your toes
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤👍🤙
BB,FREDDIE, ALBERT, and ELVIS. The 4 Kings
Wow…..just damn fine pure ass blues. I’ve never seen this artist before….. excellent. Cross between BB King and Howlin’ Wolf IMO.
Have you done Buddy Miles yet? Muddy Waters? Buddy Guy? John Lee Hooker? Just some of the other blues greats.
Freddie the greatest. Albert the coolest. BB the smoothest.
I would love to see your reaction to “If you think you're lonely now” by Bobby Womack !! 🤩
♥️. HOG!!!! Forever
Check out B.B. King - Sweet Sixteen (live from africa)
But..that bass!!!
Awesome song and vid from Freddy King! I say he is a true king 👑 of blues and soul and he nailed the guitar 🎸 solo performance very well. Thanks so much for sharing your reaction and it’s a like and thumbs up.😄👍#freddyking
Please get a Rumble so you can react to blocked stuff. I really miss Led Zeppelin reactions. If you put videos up on both you can build up your Rumble. Anyway loved the reaction as always. Much love from the US.
You're starting to understand why us old folks don't think reciting poetry to computer generated sounds is what we call music!
My I suggest Backdoor Man by Howlin’ Wolf. It will blow your effing mind
It does my heart good to see the younger generation experiencing this music that I grew up with. 😎👍
Hector. This is the Blues Music. It's not Jazz. You got to hear BB King, Coco Taylor , Muddy Waters. Hector. The Rolling Stones got the name of the Band from blues singer Muddy Waters. The Rolling Stones hit song "I Can't Get Know Satisfaction" is Muddy Waters song. The Rolling Stones became world wide famous with that song. Till this day the songs sing "I Can't Get Know Satisfaction" at the beginning or end of every concert.
FREDDY IS NOT, AGAIN NOT, A BROTHER OF THE AMAZING KING BROTHERS BUT, FREDDY IS A GREAT BLUES MAN.
YOU HAVE TO LISTEN BIG MMAMA THORTON SING HOUND DOG. THE ORIGINAL....BEFORE ELVIS.......DO IT DO OT DO IT......FUCK YES DO IT....
Hey react 2pac- dont stop the music (original) jonny j remix and you will like it got a good beat
Is he any kin to BB King?
Freddie King (September 3, 1934 - December 28, 1976) was an American blues guitarist, singer and songwriter. He is considered one of the "Three Kings of the Blues Guitar" (along with Albert King and B.B. King, none of whom were blood related).
@@AKICITAThank-you so much 👍
@@bonniemitchell4919
No problem, always glad to help 😁👍🏾
Time for some Iron Maiden?
Well then...can NF, Tom Macdonald, Nova ,2Pac or Eminem or any of their mates, do what Freddy just did ? Just saying. Think they might be just, slightly outclassed. Or is it me just getting old and sentimental. ps. pls don't hate me, I just like 'classy' music ! 🎸🎹🎷!
No they bring other talents, if all music was the same brain squeeze would never exist. Theres certain things Eminem and 2pac have done that Freddy cpuld never achieve and same vice versa 🙌🙌🙌🙌⏪️🧠
@@brainsqueezereactions I agree, it's good that music's in the ear of the beholder. Btw, you still haven't tried "Painkiller", but I suppose you want to keep your brain in your skull ! .
Listen man, I don’t think you’ve quite dived into the world of metal yet, so I would recommend starting off with some more Black Sabbath or Metallica just to get yourself warmed up, but eventually I would love to see you get into some Slipknot. I recommend (sic), Eyeless, The Heretic Anthem, Duality, and pretty much the entirety of their first two albums. Rock on man.
It's not the same without Led Zeppelin.....find a way.
But it is, it's better. Listen and learn! They say imitation is the highest form of flattery (or stealing). Hmmm. I don't know. Don't get me wrong, I love Led Zeppelin but I also know where their bread and butter came from. ALOT American Blues sprinkled in. The song is pure gold!
@@LadybugLuv I think he's talkin about the channel.... Zeppelin gettin blocked so Mark isn't reacting to them anymore.
Zep never did this song as far as I know, and if they did, I think we ALL would know...
@@AKICITA I'm talking about the style of music in they 'borrowed' from. Thats what we know for certain. I was speaking imitating (as in style) not covering (the exact song). Thank you for the clarification on the intent of the original post meaning Led is blocked.
@@LadybugLuv It's all good! 😁👍🏾
@@LadybugLuvI am not even commenting on anything related to this particular reaction, just want to see this guy react to Zep, I will mention it again when he reviews a hip hop song so no one will be confused.
