- It is always fun and interesting when it comes time to clean out some of the Will It Run projects we buy. This one is no different. Come along as we see what is hiding in this old car. Check out the original Will it run video on this car here: • Will it run? 1950 Chev...
Looks like the inside of my daughter's 2022 Camry.
I enjoyed this episode. Always fun to see what somebody left behind.
Awesome car !
Thanks!
Great job, both of you. That's so awesome. Clean it up, do a bit of work, then someone can make this a cool car to cruise in and take it to shows. Another cool car saved.
Thanks very much friends!
@@morewhattherust our pleasure 🙏.
slidding spitting wedge for logs
Thanks! Good to know.
First you find rolls of scrap cable, then a set of bolt cutters... Not all suspicious. Somewhere someone is sitting in the dark because the lights went off. 😁😁
Funny stuff! Thanks for watching.
I had a '52 Chevy in High School, a lot of good times we had in that car. lol
Right on!
You’ve never seen my sister in laws car , she has bags of stuff in her car all the time .lol Thanks for sharing guys, it is a really neat old car.👍🇨🇦
You're welcome!
That 2-tone green paint is so good. I hope she ends up at with a loving owner.
Me too! With a little work this could be a great car.
Good Job. My best friend is in the middle of building a 1950 Chevy that's sitting on a 1984 Olds Delta 88 frame with the original 307 Olds engine and 4 speed auto trans for his wife for their 25th wedding anniversary. Funny thing is she's helping him build it and has NO idea it's hers.
That is awesome! Nothing like a car as a surprise gift.
Looking forward to more videos on this one! Thanks 🙂
Beautiful car ,nice save
I really do enjoy your channels I guess is giving me motivation lost my father short while back due to a brain tumor and it just got to me seeing cars sit around in his garages but I'm starting to work on them slowly thanks again for your channels explaining things in detail keep up the good work. He would have loved watching both of you and talked your ears off.
Sorry to hear about your father. Good to hear you are working on his cars. I understand completely.

I had no ideal, you guys had another channel. I subscribed,Liked and shared. All the very best from Upper east Tennessee.
Thanks so much for the support. We really appreciate it!
Great second channel with more of you two!
Thank you Ric. Your support is great.
Was just thinking (dangerous thing for old men to be doing, eh?) that maybe a trip to a local laundromat with all of those clothes then donate them. Maybe somebody could need or use them? I have actually done that in the past so as not to get junk in my washer at home but still help somebody else.
That is a very good idea Richard. I saved some of them and that is what I will do.
Bet that one turns out nice it's looks to be in really good condition good job guys I am sure I will enjoy this channel too
Thanks Dale
The slide hammer is a wood splitter
Hey guys...That "slide Hammer".. is a wood spliter. Put the "wedge" end into the wood or log that has already been cut up and slide the top part up and start sliding and pounding away. Don't lift the wedge part as your are sliding the handle up and down. Works like a charm. I love mine.
Thanks for the info! I am sure I can use it!
@@morewhattherust your welcome. Ill be the first to purchase my first cord of wood that you cut 😁😁. The wood splitter is about a 30$ value.
Let us know if you get it running and find the back seat.
@@terrencegiordan2775 I have it running great, but the back seat has not been found.
I buy cars for scrap or parts,,i haven't had to buy clothes for yrs. People abandon their cars & seem to leave their laundry inside. If it fits me i leave out in the rain a few days to get rid of bed bugs & then wash a couple of times
That is a good plan. This car had a lot for sure, some of which I kept for donations.
Richard and Christine, you've had so many of these early fifties Chevies...so I'm really hoping you'll come across a "sedanette" or fastback Chevy some day, which were made in the same era. I loved them as a kid in the late sixties when I would see them (on occasion.) Many years ago I came across a four door sedanette for sale, which might've been even rarer than the two door, but I didn't buy it because I felt it had just a bit too much rust. The car you just bought is very solid compared to it. Good luck!
wood splitter
Good to know. Thank you.
we used the slide hammers like that for manually breaking beads on truck tires we called it a pogo stick my friend would always call it a yogi pole for some reason
Interesting! I am going to see if it works for that. Thanks for the tip.
Thats a really cool Chevy!!
Thanks!
I believe it's for splitting wood
New Subscriber!
That's a DeLuxe, judging from the chrome trim on the sides. My father had a '50 Fleetline DeLuxe, two-door gray. It did not have turn signals. Turn signals were optional in those days.
That's right. I had a 50 back in 2016 that never had turn signals.
@@morewhattherust My father said he used hand signals. His '53 Pontiac Chieftain, which I still remember, had turn signals.
That iron thing is a chisel slide.
I rode in one of those cars.
at 2:40, I maybe mistaken but my Mother had a 1976 Caprice Classic with those same Hub Caps.
I think you are right. They are definitely full size Chevy.
Hello to you Richard,
I have subscribed to the new channel, for the videos and maybe win the prize.
Be well
Thanks Kevin. Good luck with the drawing!
The hole in the floor is for access to the starter.
That wedge slide Handel thing u said it was to make holes in the ground. ? It’s to split wood when u don’t have a sledge hammer to hit the wedge Put wedge n top of wood. Take Handel go up a down. Hard An I like the car. 👍
Thanks for the info! I can certainly use it.
In my 36, and 48 chevy's the hole in the floor was to check the brake fluid.
That's right.
guys do you still have this light green 2 doors chevy with the black top? want to ship it to japan
We sold that a while back to another guy on RUclips. I believe he has already started the restoration.
Log splitter
That tool is for breaking concrete
The hubcap is for a Monte Carlo
Thanks!

So when are you planning on getting a trailer to pick up cars with? The hell with tow trucks. Buy one please. Make a video out of it for us.
We would like to get a trailer, but space is a problem for us. We don't have a huge shop or open space to keep one. Using a rollback is an expensive venture for sure.
