- I had no idea that UGreen started making capture cards but was surprised by how good this offering is. I wanted to stream games to friends on Discord and thought this would be a good starting place.
The other version (the one with a little bigger usb connector) has 60hz recording
Can this card capture 1080i signals without deinterlacing to 25p?
you can use a hdmi splitter though
You can but I assume it adds more latency
Please help. I have a windows 11 gaming laptop and a windows tablet that only has USB-C video output. I want a wired connection to use the tablet as an external monitor to play video games, should I get a video capture card? (Would it even work) or should I just get a cheap, 100 dollar external monitor thanks!
If you have an Amazon Prime account, purchase through there since you can return for a refund if it doesn't work. But otherwise, don't risk it not working. An external monitor can be used in so many situations and has less risk of not working properly.
Hello! Do you still have it and how long have you been using it? I just got it and heats up rather quick, also heats up just by plugging it in the port.
I still have it. Normally I just use it for 1 hour at a time. It does get warm, but I don't think I would call it hot.
@@crudieinahoodie4300 Thanks for the reply! Welp Guess I'll just use it till it gives, they do have a 1 year warranty anyway. Hope you're doing well now :)
Does it output 60 fps? I want to play my PS5 on my laptop as a monitor.
No it doesn't, you might want to upgrade to the other version, apparently that has 60 fps
does it work with ipad or iphone?
I looked at the box and it does not say that it supports iOS. It only supports Windows, macOS, Linux, Android. There is still the chance that it might but I am unsure as I don't have a USB C iphone to test
Can I use ps5 built in video capture instead?
@@funkanic06 I think it's easier to use a capture card since you have more control of the output and you can store on your computer rather on the SSD. But I suppose you can? You could also stream to twitch and try and and get the footage from the twich archive/past broadcasts
