- This is another budget video capture card. However, Ugreen Brand is one of the most popular now when it comes to quality and price. Now, I tested it out with my PS5 to see if it works. Please watch this video until the end to see how. I hope this video helped you with your basic video capture recording.
The Ugreen Video Capture Card is my first Video Capture Card and I already loved it. I'm not an expert but my intention is to record a simple and normal gaming video for my channel only. What I did like with this Ugreen Video Capture Card not only it's inexpensive is the build quality. It is so premium and really tough.

Do you knows how i can fix the audio? I still can’t heard
Will it work on HP Laptop 15s, AMD Ryzen 3 5300U, 15.6-inch (39.6 cm), FHD, 8GB DDR4, 512GB SSD, AMD Radeon Graphics
?
i got a usb-c capture card i tried multiple times to make it apear in the devices section and it didnt yhough when i connected a suprated cam by the caputre cards usb input port it apeard but the hdmi didn't so do you have any info that might help me making it work??
"i tried multiple apps rather than obs and disabled the hdcp and nothing worked"
Can you tell the brand of your capture card and laptop.
How do I capture my screen with my laptop and simultaneously display the game on my monitor? Wouldn’t I need two hdmi cable?
You need to use an HDMI splitter. It works.
I plug this in to my computer and it says displayport connection may be limited
i even tested it on my nintendo switch
it doesn't work
Thanks for asking. Can you specify how you connect everything. Including the cables you used.
I connected ps4 pro to my lenovo legion laptop but it only shows 1080p supported so how do i enable 4k?
Thanks for asking. But don't worry, I'm also a learner same as you and the best tutorial I have ever saw was from Andrew Wall. You will also learn more from him. I just don't wanna try it on my laptop that I have now since it's not that high in specs. Please watch his video on this link👉. ruclips.net/video/Tb_pjDEdy1c/видео.htmlsi=sKtIcqI773Hxp4_S
Thanks for the response, really appreciate it! Will watch the linked video.
Does this work on xbox please help guys im struggling
i bought the ugreen splitter one. it keeps on disconnecting and reconnecting "no signal" and black screen
Are you using a splitter and not a switcher? Which brand and model are you using?
@@RawlandUy i just found the solution to my problem. Switching off the HDCP on HDMI settings of PS5. im using UGREEN 4K Video Capture Card. the one with hdmi in and out
@Jspr_ OK. I also mentioned it in the video.
@@RawlandUy question: do i still need this capture card when i stream with my pc only? Is it better with a card or nah
My one doesn’t work with the screen capture it only works with audio any tips?
Did you set the "device" as USB Video or did you disable the HDCP on the PS5.
Can you show us the resolution and framerate of this ugreen capture card?
It says on the box 4K@60 input resolution and 1080p@30hz output resolution. As I mentioned I am not an expert but the only thing I would know is that I am having limitation issue since my laptop does not on the higher specs. And at the same time my monitor is only at 1440p.
@@RawlandUy what about in OBS video capture device source. What exactly resolution and frame rate can it support for your device?
@BroSKGaming22 It indicates, Base (Canvas) Resolution - 1920x1080. Output (Scaled) Resolution -1920x1080. Common FPS Values - 60.
I try it in my ps4... but only color stripe show. Any tricks or tips do make it work?
Go to Sources. Click on the plus sign. Then click on the video capture device. Then click OK or name it as you like. Then on the first bar which says device, set it to USB video.
@@RawlandUy already did that but only color stripes shows, already restart a couple of times but the results still the same
@@russelltuscano232 Did you unchecked the Enable HDCP on the PS4 settings?
@@RawlandUy thanks a lot mate!
@@russelltuscano232 you're most welcome ❤️.
Does it output 60 fps? I want to play my PS5 on my laptop as a monitor.
You don't wanna do that. If you have already a 120hz capable monitor, just stick with it. Aside from the delay you're getting from a controller plus the delay of using the card, I'm not sure how are you going to describe it.
How much delay?
I'm not sure how much though there might be some players who can appreciate it, but it's 100% sure that it cannot be played with FPS games.
Just use a splitter
Did u get 120fps?
Thanks for asking. Unfortunately, it doesn't support 120fps.
is this capture card support 1080p 60fps for streaming/recording?
Sorry I don't do streaming but recording yes. It supports 1080p 60fps.
Mine lags a lot
Sorry to hear that but thanks for sharing.
does this will effect your laptop.. i mean cause of heating or sum.. or it use the console itself??
In my short video recording, I never had an issue about overheating. I'm not sure yet about making longer videos.
