Great video, I really was considering doing this mod as well but I am seriously considering getting the Magnuson Supercharger for the Tacoma when they are supposedly to release their supercharger 1st quarter next year and if it’ is the same requirements as they have for the 4Runner Warranty. They don’t allow any modifications to the exhaust, airflow kits, cam modifications and so on. So I’ll have to wait to see what their warranty requirements are before I attempt this mod.

    • @RobMotive

There are claims that it will do so. However I think the only place you could tell is on a dyno. Very hard the notice incremental increases otherwise.

I like the sound that comes from my 5.7 liter Tundra dual exhaust better! 😁

That’s a good thing. Nothing like having an add on that’s no good👍

Loosening the initial bolts would be good place for 18v impact. That way ya wouldn't flex the whole exhaust. Fun project. Now the neighbors know when you come & go..;)

You should have driven you truck around for 30 minutes or so just to make it more challenging. Love the smell of burning flesh.
