  • How to use Red Light Therapy for eczema & TSW. LED or Red Light Therapy is an excellent therapy for treating eczema & later stages of TSW.
    Red Light helps promote collagen production which in turn helps eczema & TSW sufferers heal there skin conditions. Collagen is excellent for Eczema and TSW as it allows the skin to smoothen out and promote better absorption of skincare products. Red Light therapy also helps promote healing of scar tissue often found with post eczema and TSW warriors. I am at the point in my healing journey whereby my eczema and TSW is fulling managed through diet, supplements and skincare however I am left with a lot of scar issue and discolouration. Red Light therapy can greatly improve this scar tissue.

    • @Leila_Eczema
      @Leila_Eczema  3 года назад +1

      Thank you for watching! Yes I think it would help but diet is really key here. My daughter (6 years old too) suffers with dry skin and she does the RLT from time to time but it can be tricky getting her to sit under a light for a period of time regularly. Listening to some music or a story works well. Good luck!

    • @Leila_Eczema

      Thanks for your comment so you just sit under the light exposing the effected areas of skin. I do it for at least 5 times per week for 30-40 mins but the manual says 20 mins is appropriate enough. You should see results in as little as 2 weeks! Good luck hope it helps 🙏❤️

    Do you put anything on your skin when you do the red light? I need it for my eyelids too is that ok. I want for eczema and vitiligo. I only have small rash and red spots but not open wounds. I’d love know what skin care use my face and eyes help heal.

    • @Leila_Eczema
      @Leila_Eczema  2 года назад

      Thanks so much for your comment. So I don’t put anything on my skin when I do the red light therapy as your skin needs to penetrate the rays. You can close your eyes for protection and to allow the rays. I didn’t use goggles but apparently you are suppose to although with the mask varieties their is no option for goggles. As for skincare have you tried the La Roche Posay Cicaplast? Really good for mild eczema.

    • @Leila_Eczema
      @Leila_Eczema  Год назад

      The one I bought was a medically grade unit with 650-850 nano meters. Some RLT units are weaker but can still have effect if used regularly depending upon how severe your skin condition is… I think if you can use the dermatologist’s unit then do but if you are looking for convenience then consider having one at home but know you may have to use it more regularly.

      Depending upon what country you live in. These correct NM's do have a bit of a price tag but its so worth the invest. Try Juuv, Current Body and then the one I have a £50 off discount code from in the comments from Andy Millward. These are all great quality ones. I have to say the Helios one is great value though as its a half body for £300. Otherwise there are smaller ones but they don't have the correct NM's to be effective enough in my opinion.

    • @Leila_Eczema
      @Leila_Eczema  3 года назад +2

      Unfortunately the red light from your computer is not the same. In order for the light to be effective you need to have the correct nanometers 650nm-850mn. Also, these lights have the near infrared and red light which are special LED light units that carry wavelengths of light that effect cellular energy.
