@@maychone I know this may be a little too late, but I’ve found the the company Mito makes amazing red light therapy panels. I currently use the Mito Pro 750 panel, but plan on getting the 1500, which is a full body panel. I’ve noticed a dramatic improvement in my facial skin texture and tone within a couple weeks of daily use at 10-15minute sessions around 6” away from the panel. It’s also been softening up my fine lines on my forehead and improving the look of a scar on my face. So I can’t wait to see the results of using it for several months. Also wanted to mention skin tightness is improved.
I have used my red light for less than 2 weeks and I already see a a change in my skin texture , especially in my neck , the skin on my face is absolutely firmer . I use it in combination with a green tea serum , I'm 66 and completely sold on it
I ordered the Hooga Pro 300 - it was the best Bang for my Buck when I did my research , I park my face and neck in front of it for 10 minutes a day , I can't believe the results . So Impressed !
I love this topic. I bought a Platinum Biomax light for almost $700. I have been using it almost every day for 20 minutes for the last 8 weeks and totally see my skin thickening and my pores shrinking. I’m 57 and get many compliments on my skin. I also use differen twice a day because it’s gentler than tretinoin. I also eat a very clean diet of organic veggies and grass fed pasture raised meats which I’m sure helps. The light is a modular system so I’m planning on buying another one to add on for a full body treatment. I researched this product and read a lot of reviews before purchasing. It had the strongest output and 3 wavelengths of red and infrared lights. I love this product.
How did you get one at that price? I got the platinum LED Biomax 900 full body and it was like $1400. I am loving it and will get a second one just wish it was cheaper.
Hi Dr. Dray. I will be 69 this month. In May I purchased a flexible LED red/near Infrared face mask ($377) I've been using it for 17 weeks, and have found improvement. I believe it will work faster on younger skin, but I am so pleased with my results.
Ari Whitten has a great book out on Red Light Therapy. I have owned the RedRush 360 IR/NIR combo for almost two years now and I love it! I'm 60 and it does everything that research says it does.
Have been using red led light 5 days per week, 3 minutes each area at home for years. I bought it at Neiman Marcus. I use vitaminc C serum, etc. on my face daily. People think that I am 20 years younger than my age. I do not have any wrinkles unless I smile.
Your hair looks so much thicker and I believe you said you are using the red light on your scalp. Do you think this is the reason your hair looks so good?
Hello Dr Dray. Thank you for this. Been wanting to introduce a red light device into my regime. Everything you say is true. I’m 49 and have used factor 50 every day since I was 30 ! I’ve used Tretinoin for 2 years. Very simple skincare regiment! Fragrance free all the way. Never expensive ! I’m often mistaken for early to mid thirties. I’m looking forward to hitting 50 next year. But really want to keep up the good work and I think red light therapy is worth a try xx take care
I have been using the PlatinumLED Biomax 900 since October 29 2019 i originally invested in it because of a back injury I had but also learned about the benefits while I was researching which brand to go with and skin is definitely one of the benefits better skin texture , resilient, the wrinkles and firmness are definitely improved and it does well with soothing my aches for my injury there are smaller table top units that can cover the décolletage, neck and face if your main concern is facial anti aging ,I got the large unit because I’m 6’3” tall and wanted my back to be covered with each treatment it covers very well from the back of my knees up to my kneck that’s a lot of treated space in a 15- 20 min session I’m happy with it I’m glad the doc mentioned NuFACE in this video that tiny attachment would take forever to treat the whole face and that device is expensive( I have NuFACE trinity but none of the other attachments ) when a small entry of bio series is about 360ish dollars and treats a larger area and can treat other areas of concern I do like NuFACE i actually use my red & infrared first then follow up with my NuFACE device and together is an excellent combination I also use some dmae products as well and vitamin c from Perricone as well as organic vitamins from nutrigold I’m 40 and a dude so wanted to improve my skin and naturally fight aging along with the original reason for my purchase which was for my aches from my back injury I have noticed better sleep and more energy
Ummm hi! Self proclaimed #1 fan and (you're my friend in my head) Pleaseeeee say whatever it is you did to your skin in this video. You look like you have skin made of porcelain! Stunning! Thank you for all of the information you so humbly give, your elegance and for someone like me that is homebound, for your excellent company. My little girl and I look forward to your videos. I'm refreshed to see a youtuber that is authentic as well as classy and well mannered that I can be proud for my daughter to watch. The time that you share with your mom is precious. My little one and I suffer from immune deficiencies. Alopecia and eczema are part of that. I dealt with my health with strength until my little girl inherited some of those conditions. Your advice has transformed my little girls skin and her alopecia is improving. The way that you present information is so calming and practical. I apologize for this lengthy comment. It's something I have been wanting to express for a long time. God bless you and your family.
I purchased the mitoRed unit and I can see a result already, and only purchased it to reduce the brown spots and fine lines on my face. I don’t expect a quick result, or to look 20 again, but I think eating more plants and using this unit have been a game changer for me. I love the results I have seen. Thanks for all your videos I love your video messages!
I use the red light therapy machine at my gym. I joined the gym on September 20th, 2021 & use the machine, which is full body, stand-up 3 to 7 times per week. I have not noticed any changes yet, but will keep trying it for a few more months to see if any improvement noticed.
If that is the stand up device at Planet Fitness you will not see any improvement as it does not use LED lights. That machine just has red fluorescent lights.
I was using the LIGHT SALON religiously last year. Then got Covid in Jan and lazy. I noticed a difference in my skin then. Went back to it afterwards and my skin came back to the supple state again.
I haven't really noticed anything. I am going to keep it up, but I don't see any significant results so far. My fine lines around my eyes look the same.
New update! I didn't notice anything until month two, but the lines around my eyes are better! Especially the little wrinkles at the corners of my eyes. The skin around my eyes seems firmer too. I will keep using and see if I see anymore improvement 😊
I use Koze for two years and my testosterone has increased and I also no longer have hypothyroidism 😅 I’m hairier and people are surprised to hear my age. The two things above is why I use it every day. 😊
@@MinPinSteve ... Because it is so amazing U want to use it everyday..but don't! I used it 2 times... But not in the same places. It has a 10 minute timer that turns off. It also has a power level.. I used it at 3 and 4. Each light color does a specific thing. U can find this on Amazon and EBay.

Hi Dr Dray! I love your videos! I use Platinum Therapy Lights. I have the full body panel for full body treatments, the BioxMax version with both near infrared and red light wavelengths. I have bee using it for almost 1.5 years and I love it. For my face specifically, it has rebuilt my collagen, adding firmness and my skin texture & color has improved so much. It really is turning back the clock for me! I just started Tretinoin a week ago and I am loving the results with the RLT combination! No purging so far and only one day of redness and peeling. Thanks to your videos on how to treat the skin, I can use the Obaji Tretinoin .05% gel every night for a week so far with no irritation! Thank You for all your great advice. This RLT panel has also grown more hair around the crown of my head and temples and I feel like my overall hair is thicker. I wasn't using it for that but was a pleasant surprise to see new hair follicles grow. Being FDA approved, I feel the Platinum Therapy Lights panel facilitates so many great benefits for the entire body at the cellular, healing level. :)
How long before you started to see results in your skin? Did you take before/ after pics? I've been using my new Platimun LED biomax 900 for about a month. I didn't take photos right away. I'm not sure I've actually had improvement in my skin or not. I also haven't much joint pain relief, which has been disappointing. Of course, we see our skin every day so it's hard to tell. I did eventually take pics, and will continue to do that. I'm just curious about your experience on a 1.5 year timeline!
I purchased the Omnilux red light and near infrared mask, after quite a bit of research. It has the trusted name with their in office devise production, and it has more lights with greater output than most other masks I looked at. Some of the masks on Amazon are a complete waste of time. They have few lights, low output to the point of being ineffective, and poor or uncomfortable fit. I would say the results are very modest. I wonder how many people who go to the trouble of spending so much on these are also using a retinol or other products that are the main reason they get complements on their skin. I would think it is most of the people. Just my 2 cents.
@@angeliqueg.3109 Eco face mask, at the beginning it seemed to be making my discoloration worsen, but at almost 3 months using the mask every day, my skin cleared up and it is amazing
I watched this video to see what you thought of LED light therapy. I’ve been looking at them for facial rejuvenation and also a treatment for psoriasis as well as pain relief. From what I’ve read the red and infrared lights are being used for all three with stronger units being used for treating pain. It seems that most people looking for facial rejuvenation are interested in the LED masks, but as I’ve looked into them the panels appear to be more effective and better made for other uses. You can also treat larger areas of the body at one time and some fold in half for greater portability. I’d rather have a multi-use device rather than a mask and also one that’s FDA approved.
I've been using a LED mask for three years.. (also on a retin-A regimen) and I get constant comments on how clear and luminous my skin looks. I bought the cheapest mask I could find on ebay and it also has other colors that it cycles through (I call this disco mode). I use it three times a week. Once on red light, once on flashing red light and.. usually on Friday.. disco mode! Mine also has a neck piece, and since my mask does not have any LED lights over the eyes and nose, I rest this neck piece on my nose (red light only) once in a while. Last year I bought an LED & Near Infra Red light panel to assist in my thoracotomy healing. It has done a good job there but is a pain to hold over my face... When I do use it I feel some heat and tightening (as if I'd been out on the sun) on my face. BTW, I'm 47 years old and everyone guesses I'm 37 or 39 or so. It's WOORKING!!! Ciao from Italy, L
Laura Pazzaglia this was going to be my next concern. I haven’t started my retina regimen. I’m waiting on the products to arrive, but how do you use both tetrinoin, hydroquinone, & the red led mask. I don’t want to burn myself. How do you alternate the two?
@@jasminwilliams7569 I don"t use hyroquinone but LED & NIR therapy is supposed to be soothing so it's a great companion to more aggressive ingredients. But definately start one thing at a tine and lusten to how your skin responds. I do tretinoin at night and LED therapy in the morning- I don't clean off the nighttime skincare first. Have fun! Ciao, L
I have been using Dr. Dennis Gross led mask and I see the difference in my skin when I forget to use it. Mostly because it prevents break out but I also think it makes my skin look little bit tighter. Mask has blue light for acne. Most of the time I do the combined treatments. I’m only 37 and I see the mask investment for the years to come.
Thank-you very much for mentioning photo-sensitivity concerns. Though I'm careful about sun exposure because of having lupus, dermatologists have recommended various treatments of this sort and I hadn't made the connection. Wonderfully informative!
I can speak to the efficacy of red/near infrared light therapy! I’ve been using it about 3x per week for about 3 weeks now and have already seen drastic improvements to my skin, both on my face and neck. I saw the neck results within a single 20 minute session and was hooked immediately. It’s definitely a good, subtle, non-invasive anti-aging solution if you have access to a medical-grade light. Thanks for covering this topic Dr. Dray! Hello from your neighbor in Victoria, TX :)
Mojo La a local spa has the Poly PRO LED. I have a monthly membership that allows unlimited use. Try googling LED therapy in your town and see if any of your local spas offer photobiomodulation- if not, Poly also sells handheld models that are probably just as effective but smaller for more targeted therapy.
I have two red light devices. They really shouldn't be as overpriced as they are because you can do the same thing with a red grow light for plants. I got the serial killer looking mask off Amazon that also has an electrical stimulation function but I've been too scared to use that part. It has several different colors but I just use to red. I put my Skin Actives collagen serum on then sit for 20 minutes and I try to do this most nights. Not sure if it's doing anything but I'm 39 with small amounts of sun damage and most people don't guess me to be in my 30s.
Dr. Dray, how long should one wait to use red light/ near infrared devices after using photo sensitizing medications, such as Differin? Thanks again for the informative video! You rock.
Perhaps it would be safer to use it after washing your face but prior to applying differin? Seems like that would be the longest time since you applied it. Hope Dr Dray gets back to you 😀
It’s helping my hyperpigmentation. I also use Ambi cream in the morning after applying Differin. I believe I heard about it from Dr Dray. I believe I’ve read that the red light potentiates the effects of the skin care products. I use it before bed because it also increases melatonin to help you fall asleep.
I purchased a platinum LED panel and have used it now daily for 2 years. It is a time investment because I do my entire body. Takes me 30 minutes but I read etc. when I’m treating. The panel hangs via a pulley system from the back of my closet door and I just raise or lower it. I am currently post surgery and am now using it to help with scar/wound healing and reducing inflammation. I’ve had excellent results with this system. Just do your research and get a high enough output device. Ari Whitten has an excellent book that goes into the science in lay terms behind photobiomodulation as well as how to purchase a decent unit.
Dr Dray, could you please make another video talk about what products/ingredients to avoid using underneath red light therapy? I have a at-home red light therapy device for a few years but couldn't keep up using it daily because I worry about combining certain ingredients with red light may be damaging to my skin but if I don't put any products on my face before doing the red light therapy, my dry skin gets too dry by the end of the session (15-20 min). Thank you!
I am using the Zyocean red and near-infrared light pad to help moderate pain from a number of serious health issues such as metastatic breast cancer, heart failure, an autoimmune disease, and long COVID, just to name a few. I experienced a cytokine storm, in February, from either the cancer or COVID, which had an impact on my strength and endurance so I am trying to build those back up. Unfortunately, exercise sets off my autoimmune disease and that causes muscle pain which, fortunately, is quickly relieved by use of the Zyocean pad. The pad has also helped start the regrowth of hair, on the bald spot on the top of my head, caused by radiation. I use the pad daily with it set on combined red-and near-infrared light. The pad offers both 660nm and 850nm of light with 4 intensity settings. I bought it on Amazon and it has seriously improved my life. Dr. Dray, there are so many overwhelming comments and questions on this topic. It would be wonderful if you could possibly find a way to evaluate home devices. I realize, given the lack of proper scientific data, it is difficult for you to make a recommendation. Based on the specifics of the devices on the market, could you help us know how to make a good choice? I would be interested in face, neck and body, I think many of your subscribers might also. Your subscribers value you and your expertise. 🙏

Not sure if it’s psychological, but got me one of these light therapy masks from amazon, definitely think it has improved my skin 👍🏻 I only use the red colour every other morning for 20 minutes, one month in and I’m convinced it’s helps general skin health. Btw, new to Dr Drays so have been binge watching the videos 😁
I’m using the Red Light Man mini, I like this product because it discloses the wave frequencies and doesn’t make a ton of claims; also, isn’t as expensive as some of the trendy masks celebs are using.
I bought a red light bulb from Amazon and while I like it, I can't use it on my face because it is so so so bright. I use tanning goggles, close my eyes and cover the goggles with my hands and I still feel like it's too bright. My eyes are very sensitive to light. I have been using the light on my neck, hands and feet and so far so good! My feet are always dry and peeling and it seems like it's really helped. I'm considering buying one of the expensive masks because I would love to use it on my face.
Dr. Dray I am purchasing a PlatinumLED Biomax 900!!! I can't wait. My bro just got the iRestore pro as a collective gift from my family to him for his hair loss. The biomax has 810 nm which is what the top-of-the line VieLight intranasal uses for brain stimulation & PTSD.
I use tretinoin gel most every night, I use an AHA product on the other nights. When would it be best for me to use my red light therapy device? Informative video, Thanks.
I have been using the dr. Dennis gross faceware Pro LED light mask while this only covers the face, I use the lightstim on my neck. It does take dedication but in about 2 months I started to see a difference. Granite I understand this is something I will have to keep up. But I love the look. It gives my skin a healthy glow.
I found 2 that include both red light and infrared light. They include: the light salon boost led mask ($495) and the CurrentBody skin led light therapy mask ($382).
I think that the current consensus is that red and near-infrared light is good for your vision, not harmful. I feel like my vision is sharper with brighter colors after using red/NIR light.
Hi Dr Dray, I purchased an at home LED mask with several different colors that address different skin concerns. I really like it and do believe I'm seeing results with the green light and hyper-pigmentation. Is there a maximum number of minutes per day you recommend? Can overuse cause nausea? I found myself throwing up sometimes not long after a session. I do have other health issues that could easily be at fault. Coincidence do you think?
Angie from Hot and Flashy said she experienced nausea when using a red light device that flashed, but no problem with other devices that have a constant light. If your device flashes, that could be the cause.
I’ve been using a full body Red Light Therapy bed at a local tanning salon for the past 3 months. I have seen improvements in wrinkles, stretch marks, and skin laxity! I use The Ordinary Buffet with Copper Peptides prior to going in the bed. My understanding is that the machine is 660 nanometers.
Diana Moore my membership comes with unlimited spray tans along with unlimited light therapy bed use. $79 per month. I saw results at about the 7 week mark. I go every other day.
Many led mask now show their Led light output on their website. Compared the light output to a skin led light penetration chart , onine I found $60 Led mask (that comes with the neck led area as well!!!) with the output following exactly the numbers on the chart. Enough to say I bought it and looking forward to this treatment. Thanks for sharing.
Could you please send me the name of the mask that you purchased. Also since you posted this a year ago have you had good results and do you have any before and after pictures?
I saw where people "hack" their neutrogena mask thing so you can get more than 10 minutes per use(apparently 10 is too short to be effective) and replace the ridiculous requirement to pay for unlocking more uses
I use my 300w powered nir and red led device every day! Its fabulous. It also has brain activating properties. It is similar as Joov brand devices are exept this has no brand and is from Amazon. Same factory makes it in China. I dont think those devices that are small and weak wats is going to do much.
Bought my bio face wand for 30$ and it definitely works. I use squalene to roll it on neck and face. My neck had a lot of fine line and since using this for a week, I notice a difference…it works
Thank you Dr Dray! There is a lot of data on the Platinum Therapy LED Light site in terms of the product data. Could this be something you possibly look in to as a future comparison between cosmetic brand masks and LED panels? Thank you!
have been using a led mask with infrared for almost a year. im not very convinced it is doing much but still using it on a regular basis since it is very low effort (and paid a high price). I wouldn't by this again though, I think there are better at home devices than light therapy
What at home devices do you like? I currently have a galvanic machine that also has high frequency. I only use the positive galvanic for pushing moisture into the skin. I have broke capillaries, so I don't use high frequency. I'm looking to purchase a Dr. Pen S6A and considering radio frequency.
Exactly what properties in the goggles (eye protection) are we looking for? It’s really hard to determine the right ones for use with the LED therapy. Thanks!
But Doctor, how can you treat your eye wrinkles, if you say that eye protection is needed? And what's the difference between red light, infrared and LED?
Hi! I bought a Mito 750 pro red light unit. I've found it to be helpful with back pain and also have seen improvement in my skin although that was not my main objective when I purchased the unit.
Planet fitness gyms have a red light therapy machine at their gyms! It almost looks like a tanning bed but has no UV rays just the red light and a sort of shaking device you step on to massage your body
I tried it daily for 6 months. It worked great for my mood but did nothing for my pores. I tried getting the specs on that machine but they are pretty tightly guarded. I don’t think the output is strong enough. They are one wavelength and fluorescent bulbs. Since I read the science behind infrared light I did more research and bought my own. Look up Platinum Biomax
That red light therapy machine really helps the pain in my hips. I suppose it's the vibration that does it. They also have vibrating machines for horses that help joint problems.
I bought a 30 dollar wand last year LED LUX SKIN on Amazon- it’s the best product I’ve ever bought. It took away my eye hallows that I use to put filler in once a year. Now I don’t need the filler. It stimulated collagen and plumped up my skin all on its own. My skin is just younger looking and plumper looking. The pink and yellow light really brightened up sun damage I had from my tanning bed days. I don’t need Botox around my eyes anymore it leaves character unlike botox and my skin doesn’t look fake or plastic. The only botox I get now is for my 11 lines once every 8 months. I’m 35 and skins never been better
BTW, you look gorgeous today. I love the information you give us with your videos. Thanks so very much. I have learned so much more from you than from numerous visits to dermatologists in my area who do not listen to me when I explain my problems and just push prescriptions that have not worked. Following your advice has saved my skin and your videos are now the first place I go for reliable information that I trust. Have you seen any studies on the effects infra-red light may have on eyes after cataract surgery? I know it is extremely important to wear protective goggles. Also, there are videos on RUclips that promote the use of a green tea serum during red light and infra-red light therapy. Have you seen studies that substantiate the claims that green tea serum greatly magnifies the benefits of these therapies? Maybe if you do an update video on red light therapy you can discuss these two topics. Thanks again.
She said in the video that Infrared treatments are best for people who are already using tretinoin, so it sounded to me like she encourages people to use them together. Edit: I could have misunderstood what she was saying, and even they’re safe to use together, that doesn’t mean they’re safe to use together ON THE SAME DAY. I’m interested to know too, so I hope she responds.
Yes, it is safe but don’t use it at the same you are applying the red light. I use my Retin A in the evenings and do the light therapy in the mornings.
Dr. Dray maybe someone else already asked this question but is it true that Red LED light is bad for melasma prone skin? What if I'm using Tretinoin, can I still use LED light? Thanks!
Dr Dray, I recently bought an far infrared heating pad. The company claims the invisible wavelengths can penetrate 2.36 inches deep into skin where as a regular heating pad is very superficial. Can far infrared from a heating device cause any harm to your skin or eyes?
@@radomirkoudela8412 Specifically are far infrared heating pads equal to the sun? I did pull up her video on Infrared Protection From Sunscreen and also the Sauna video. The manufacturer of the infrared heating pad I have, Thermotex, states it's safe but of course they will say that. They've been selling them over 20 years. I've read many benefits of the use so I'm unsure. In the sauna video she talked about an infrared belt that gave someone Erythema Ab Igne. Maybe prolonged use is dangerous.
What's on your face today? Your skin looks amazing. Also, can you do a review of the Gold Bond Ultimate Skin Protectant eczema relief hand cream? @eggos Ummmmm Are you serious?
Also Killary Clinton.
She probably does more than that lol
Ari Whitten has a great book out on Red Light Therapy. I have owned the RedRush 360 IR/NIR combo for almost two years now and I love it! I'm 60 and it does everything that research says it does.
I haven’t watched you for 12 months I’m sorry! Life got crazy. But wow your skin looks amazing. Your face is glowing.
Have been using red led light 5 days per week, 3 minutes each area at home for years. I bought it at Neiman Marcus. I use vitaminc C serum, etc. on my face daily. People think that I am 20 years younger than my age. I do not have any wrinkles unless I smile.
Which red light do you use? Thanks
I thats awesome whicu brand did you buy?
That’s amazing. What is factor 5-0 ?
What is Factor 50?
SPF 50
Thank you sooo much, I'm also mistaken for 30, I haven't used this therapy, I moved and my mask broken, but I just got a new one.
That is wonderful! Thank you for sharing what works for you 🙂
I have been using the PlatinumLED Biomax 900 since October 29 2019 i originally invested in it because of a back injury I had but also learned about the benefits while I was researching which brand to go with and skin is definitely one of the benefits better skin texture , resilient, the wrinkles and firmness are definitely improved and it does well with soothing my aches for my injury there are smaller table top units that can cover the décolletage, neck and face if your main concern is facial anti aging ,I got the large unit because I’m 6’3” tall and wanted my back to be covered with each treatment it covers very well from the back of my knees up to my kneck that’s a lot of treated space in a 15- 20 min session I’m happy with it I’m glad the doc mentioned NuFACE in this video that tiny attachment would take forever to treat the whole face and that device is expensive( I have NuFACE trinity but none of the other attachments ) when a small entry of bio series is about 360ish dollars and treats a larger area and can treat other areas of concern I do like NuFACE i actually use my red & infrared first then follow up with my NuFACE device and together is an excellent combination I also use some dmae products as well and vitamin c from Perricone as well as organic vitamins from nutrigold I’m 40 and a dude so wanted to improve my skin and naturally fight aging along with the original reason for my purchase which was for my aches from my back injury I have noticed better sleep and more energy
Ummm hi! Self proclaimed #1 fan and (you're my friend in my head)
Pleaseeeee say whatever it is you did to your skin in this video.
Laura Maria Cobiella it’s in the description of the video...
Also, looks today like tinted sunscreen.
How long did it take for you to see a result? Have you continued with using the red light?
@@onetime7408 I could see a difference the first week. I’m still using the red light and I still love it. Highly recommend it.
Do you less brow spots? I am considering Mito for the same reason.
@Jenn Wilkens no. I have serum for my face, but I did not purchase it with the intent to use with the mitored light.
I use a Rosa Lightmask. I feel as though it's helped with my overall skin sensitivities and helped to reduce redness associated with my rosacea.
I just got the Eco mask. I will come back and update in a month if anyone wants me too ☺️ it's infrared and red light.
Yes, update when you can please
It's been a month. How'd it go?
I haven't really noticed anything. I am going to keep it up, but I don't see any significant results so far. My fine lines around my eyes look the same.
New update! I didn't notice anything until month two, but the lines around my eyes are better! Especially the little wrinkles at the corners of my eyes. The skin around my eyes seems firmer too. I will keep using and see if I see anymore improvement 😊
@@AutumnC22 thanks for the update ♥️
I use Koze for two years and my testosterone has increased and I also no longer have hypothyroidism 😅
I’m hairier and people are surprised to hear my age. The two things above is why I use it every day. 😊
I have tried this and it is incredible. I am 63 and notice an improvement in first use. After 2 sessions my neck was amazingly tighter.
Beryl Geczi which device/brand do you use? How exciting!
How long do you use it and how many treatments in a week? Thx!
@@Blue37801 ... I have "Top Beauty" .. But I think there r several makers of this beauty machine for home use. I even saw it price $700 at one site.. But I in investigated this .. Pretty extensive and found it under $50. It needs a conductive gel to use. That is the worse part of this.. Lol... But it is well worth it. It has 5 different lights.. Each has a different electric pulse too. I hope this info helped..
And one last thing.. Do not keep it plugged in 24 hours a day! Or it will burn out the charging system
I would like to hear more about hair growth using Red Light and Near Infra Red Light therapy found with Platinum Therapy BioMax and BioLight panels.
I have been using mine for about 3 months and it got rid of all my melasma like magic! It works!
Which device have you been using?
I’m also interested in it for psoriasis as well both myself and my daughter have it though my daughters is more severe have you had any luck with it
I've been using a LED mask for three years..
Laura Pazzaglia I live in Italy. What product did you buy & where did you purchase it from? Thank You.
would love to know what your using as well :)
Have fun! Ciao, L
What brand of LED mask are you using?
Hi Andrea, can you please recommend an affordable LED unit that actually works. Thank you so much.
Yes there are so many at different price points not easy to find one that is effective 🙏
I just got an LED panel off Amazon. Easier to use and more powerful than a mask and you can use it anywhere on body. They cost about 200.
@@cretan982 What is the name of the device, please share, please, lol
Anyone had one of the masks, I heard they can last up to a year then can stop working it's a lot of £ if that's the case
Karissa Pukas has a video on one, they have smaller sized ones. Can’t recall the brand. But check it out
I have been using Dr.
@annmeria999 do you recommend doctor dennis gross! I have been though buy it?
@annemaria999 do you recommend doctor dennis gross?
Thank-you very much for mentioning photo-sensitivity concerns. Though I'm careful about sun exposure because of having lupus, dermatologists have recommended various treatments of this sort and I hadn't made the connection. Wonderfully informative!
I got a DPL II Red Light Therapy device and it works GREAT!! I will never be without it. It was NOT expensive at all! I think it works amazingly well.
Does this light give you a warm feeling at all?? I just received mine and no warm feeling from the light. Just a red light
Sarah Lasater - 👍🏻 which machine are you using?!?
Mojo La a local spa has the Poly PRO LED. I have a monthly membership that allows unlimited use. Try googling LED therapy in your town and see if any of your local spas offer photobiomodulation- if not, Poly also sells handheld models that are probably just as effective but smaller for more targeted therapy.
Sarah Lasater - thank you
Sarah Lasater is it bad if you use it everyday? Also if you had any hyperpigmentation did it work for you also?
So exciting to hear! I'm curious what hat type of improvement did you see? For pores? Wrinkles? Blemishes? Pigmentation?
You rock.
Dee Rodriguez I apply Differin right before using the light. I’ve not had any adverse reactions to doing it
@@sharonvalencia5748 My concern is hyperpigmentation, more so than sensitivity. Thoughts?
Perhaps it would be safer to use it after washing your face but prior to applying differin? Seems like that would be the longest time since you applied it. Hope Dr Dray gets back to you 😀
It’s helping my hyperpigmentation. I also use Ambi cream in the morning after applying Differin. I believe I heard about it from Dr Dray. I believe I’ve read that the red light potentiates the effects of the skin care products. I use it before bed because it also increases melatonin to help you fall asleep.
Dee Rodriguez same question
I just wanted my pores to shrink… Wow…. You have to be consistent but, I’m 74 and this worked❤
I use Platinum LED Biomax 450. It has really helped my skin, neck, hands and hair thickness.
Thank you!
I believe it to be anything oily and alcohol based items. Such as coconut (that white stuff in a jar), and cleansers and soaps and jojoba oils ect.
Btw, new to Dr Drays so have been binge watching the videos 😁

Thanks for the detailed explanation. Would this be good for neck lines as well, aside from sagging neck?
Hi there, for how long have you been using it for now and do you still recommend it? Thanks!

I purchased an at home LED mask with several different colors that address different skin concerns.

I’ve heard that red light therapy can help with hair loss - and I worry that it could cause facial hair growth. Any thoughts on that?
But Doctor, how can you treat your eye wrinkles, if you say that eye protection is needed? And what's the difference between red light, infrared and LED?

Planet fitness gyms have a red light therapy machine at their gyms!
It almost looks like a tanning bed but has no UV rays just the red light and a sort of shaking device you step on to massage your body
GOSH ITS GABE yeah it is popular
Dr. Dray, I came directly to you for the facts on red light therapy. Suggestion: please get a clip-on mic. This will improve your audio greatly.

They do not emit UV rays so it wouldn’t have any merit.

So if you are using tretinoin is it still safe in combination with Red light therapy?
Cameron that’s a great question I’m using that prescribed by my doctor i would like to know that too
She said in the video that Infrared treatments are best for people who are already using tretinoin, so it sounded to me like she encourages people to use them together.
Edit: I could have misunderstood what she was saying, and even they’re safe to use together, that doesn’t mean they’re safe to use together ON THE SAME DAY. I’m interested to know too, so I hope she responds.
@@StephanieLeighG Nice thank you! 😁👍
I'd like to know as well!! Please respond, Dr. Dray!
Thanks!
Hey you look so beautiful today. Which sunscreen are you wearing in this video??
I’m almost 58 and have been doing the red light at Planet Fitness. Not really convinced it has done much.
Omg, I seriously just was looking for information on this! Dr. Amazing Dray!!!!!
Kristin Capone thanks for watching
Can you recommend a Mask that has BOTH the Led Red Light PLUS the Near-Infrared light combined?
Thank You for all of your advice!
Dr Dray, I recently bought an far infrared heating pad. The company claims the invisible wavelengths can penetrate 2.36 inches deep into skin where as a regular heating pad is very superficial. Can far infrared from a heating device cause any harm to your skin or eyes?
She has a video on infrared light. Infrared light accelerates aging, Im sorry. You need near-infrared or red.
TREMENDOUSLY helpful. As usual.
I use LightStim and LOVE it!
is it safe to use if one has Psoriasis (not on the face) or uses skincare that makes the skin more sun sensitive?
What's on your face today? Your skin looks amazing. Also, can you do a review of the Gold Bond Ultimate Skin Protectant eczema relief hand cream? I've been using it on my face, and gave it to my friend when his whole face was inflamed, and we both love it. Is there any reason we shouldn't use it on our face?
A red light therapy *bed* just opened in my town. And is offered as a tanning unit. Have you heard of these? What are your thoughts on these, okay with moderation or too much?
Hello 👋 could you please talk
about the antioxidant "superoxide sdismutase" (SOD) Thanks!
I just ordered the Skintific Deluxe. I can’t wait to try it. I will do an update after a few months.
Thank you. Super useful straightforward information as always and very much appreciated

Do you think light therapy would be safe to use for people with skin of colour?
Thank you💕
Great topic Dr. Dray! Question: What kind of eye protection would be suitable for at-home devices? Tanning goggles? Thanks!
or just close your eyes
Theirs no need because their no UV emmitted.
I got the Omnilux light therapy mask a few months ago. I find it uncomfortably bright even with my eyes closed. I researched red light-blocking goggles and bought a pair, however, they are only minimally helpful. If anyone has a goggle recommendation that effectively blocks or diminishes the brightness, I'd be grateful. Thanks!
